Welcome to Ezerith, a land filled with war and chaos. 400 years ago the human race attempted to overthrow the almighty rulers, the Celestials. Since then, war is the only thing that this world knows. Humanity is now on the brink of ruins as it fights a losing battle.
For as long as any historian can remember, Celestials have ruled over humans, treating them as if they were slaves. They restricted thinking, civilized culture, and free expression. A small band of heroes however decided to lash out against their rulers, which inspired the entire human race to fight as well. Historians will cite this as the very beginning of the Civil War, fought in a small, unremarkable village. About 400 years later and countless losses, humanity is holding on by a thread. The last 30 years in particular has been devastating as all progress made by their predecessors has been lost, and only a few areas remain in their control.
