Realistic or Modern Retaliation

"I don't see what you're complaining about. I wouldn't mind seeing this nice view everyday" Benji replied hitting the enter button the looking at Sarah. "By the way I just booked the penthouse. We're all set. Also, I was able to get us a landing spot at the Las Vegas, Nevada airport" He said blinking a couple of times.

Sarah's eyes widened slightly from Benji's words, and she felt the slight flush in her face heat up more. The girl was momentarily rendered speechless. She barely heard what he said afterwards as she contemplated what he meant by his first remark. She wasn't sure if it was just innocent Benji making an innocent compliment, or if he actually meant something more by it. She studied him as he typed, then finally blinked herself awake when he finished speaking, "Oh, uh, okay." Sarah looked at Benji, hesitantly, "... Benji? Why did you put the mirror in front of me?" She asked, trying to just sound curious.

"So you can wake up to your pretty face. I thought we established this already" Benji replied looking back at the screen and finishing off a few more codes before turning his laptop off. "And so I can stick to my word from last night ha" He smiled while sliding the laptop into its case. Greyson off to the side had already drifted off into a nice nap.

His words made Sarah smile, and she laughed softly shaking her head. "Hm. Well... Thank you Benji. It was super sweet of you." She said, grinning and hiding her previous thoughts. She looked down and took a deep breath then glanced back up at him again, "We still have that handshake ya know. I don't know how you got me to give in, but now I actually want to..." She muttered to him, amused.

"No problem buddy" Benji smiled. "Oh yeah! Ya know, one day you'll thank me for coming up with the idea of us having a handshake. So, you got any movement ideas?" He asked having already brainstormed his own ideas. It was in his nature to be considerate though so he often saved his own say for last.

"Aw geez..." Sarah laughed and shook her head, "I'm sure I will Benji." She sighed, and rolled her eyes, continuing to grin. She thought about his words and then shook her head. "Nope! This handshake is your idea so you're going to have to make the first moves! I need to see what I'm getting myself into..." She eyed him, "And no huge karate moves. You may be a ninja, but I'm not!" Sarah said jokingly. "And maybe we could add onto it overtime?"

Arizona gradually started feeling better, and sat up.


"I should've stayed in Europe." She said sarcastically. She went and sat by Greyson "What can I do, to help? Sorry I have been such a pain in the ass. I have great intentions."

"Alright let's make this awesome!" Benji did the first hand action that consisted of moving his hand away from Sarah's. It was the usual handshake ending motion, but Benji wanted to spice it up a bit. It was like a handshake remix!

Greyson didn't respond due to the fact that he was taking a deep nap. Not his fault that we went through an intense lifting session throughout the whole day. He just shifted his position a bit then allowed his head to lean a little to the side.

The ride had felt like some sort of bad dream, she was soaking in the events that had recently found their way to her brain, etching around each nerve as it instilled itself, making peace and forming a permanent foundation. She rubbed her thumb and forefinger along her brow, sighing rather pathetically for her situation. She stepped out of the car, letting the runway air slice her hair into ribbons behind her, she felt free, almost like she was in Belize, but this place was entirely different. The scenery was no where near as gorgeous, it was more rustic in a way, pavement and dust, the lack of vegetation upset her.


She stretched as she found standing ground for her feet, the car ride had felt like hours, but it was finally over, she heard a distant voice call her, completely oblivious to who it was, though there was familiarity in it. Something like family, she knew, but she didn't. She began to walk towards the cluster of people that had already gotten together, she stood, arms folded. "Alright... So, what are we doing n-" She stopped, staring at the girl who was interacting with the Filipino she'd come to have known as Benji. "Ashlynn...?" Her tone was gentle, but one of concern, had kids really been dragged into this?.

Adélia kept her head resting against the seat, her ID in her hand. She didn't really know what to do as they had gotten out much quicker than imagined. Everying had been a sort of blur till she was officially on the jet. Keeping her eyes closed and a blanket wrapped around her, the young teen tried to think of happier thoughts. Many new people had come late to their 'reunion' only to get sucked into the whole mess. Adélia heard her older sister Arizona talking to a sleeping Grey which made we smile. It seemed that many of the girls were drawn to the boy. Then the blonde's gaze shifted to Benji who was talking to Sarah. Adélia raised an eyebrow at that till she realized it had something to do with a handshake. Relaxing once more, the youngest Parker just turned to look out the window.

Sarah helped create the handshake with Benji, laughing and rolling her eyes at the silly moves. For a bit, she forgot about the problems surrounding them all, and found herself just enjoying hanging out with Benji. In the back of her mind though, she was well aware that the easy going happiness would end soon, and they would all have to get down to business.


When Arizona started feeling better, and she sat up, Ashlynn sighed a breath of relief. She was glad that the older girl would be okay. She rubbed her eyes feeling the stress of everything that was going on. This was insane. Why did this happen to them? That question kept reeling through her mind. Ashlynn was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her sister's voice. Ash quickly looked up toward the girl, and smiled , once again in shock. "Veronica!" She exclaimed then stood up and rushed over, hugging the girl tightly.

She wrapped her arms around the girl, "I'm glad you're safe... Is it really as bad as they say, is our family really being framed?" She strode her fingers gingerly through her younger sisters hair, apparently she was missed. This was melting her heart, just to be near someone who cared about her, and clearly wasn't afraid to show it. A small smile crept to the corners of her lips as she pulled her close, tight.

Ashlynn felt her eyes getting watery once more, and she inwardly lectured herself for getting so emotional. She couldn't help it though. She had really missed Veronica. Her sister's words made Ash look up at her, and she nodded solemnly. "Yes... Unfortunately, it's true." She sniffled and wiped her eyes, then grinned sheepishly. "Why'd you have to come back when everything is so messed up? Why not when everything was good and happy? I'm sure that would have been a much happier reunion...!" She let out a sad laugh, then looked at Veronica again. "I really did miss you though..." Ashlynn hugged her sister again.

Benji moved his hand back to Sarah's and held it. "So this is the second motion and then . . . " He did a side ways high five followed by a back hand. "Ya catch the drift?" The young teen questioned raising a brow. His gaze momentarily shifted to the two sisters' reunion then to the others around the jet. Wow, for a moment things were actually peaceful. "Hey Adélia! Can you please come here real quick?" He asked. Benji saw the sleeping Grey then thought. Yeah. This thing is actually bringing all of us closer. "Guess there really are up sides even to something as crazy as this" Benji said looking back at Sarah.

Sarah watched as Benji showed the motion, then repeated it. She grinned at him, "Got it." She glanced at Adelia when Benji called her over. Sarah smiled at the younger girl, then shifted her gaze back to Benji as he spoke. Thinking for a moment, she nodded in agreement, "Yeah you're right..." She took a deep breath, "I'm just so glad I'm not in this alone. I'd probably get caught right away. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by geniuses like you!" Sarah laughed and poked him.

"Aw thank ya" Benji smiled. Grey shifted in his sleep, but switched to a position that caused him to slowly fall to his side. The exhaustion was way too real. "So I'm just staying in the penthouse and doing my computer stuff there while the other field people do the whole club mission" Benji said. "I am NOT going to go onto that field. You know how I am with that stuff anyway" He continued.

Sarah rolled her eyes at Benji's remark. "Come on Benji. Give yourself some credit. I really think you could pull it off. Maybe you're no expert at all those pick up lines, but you're still amazing at making girls laugh and giving compliments and stuff." She told him with a small, genuine smile. She really believed it. Sarah had a feeling that Benji unintentionally made a lot of girls fall for him in his lifetime. The idea wasn't that out there, and she wished Benji had a little more faith in himself.

Adélia's eyes opened slowly when she heard her brother summoning her. Narrowing her grey colored eyes she threw off her blanket and walked over to him and Sarah. Raising an eyebrow at the flirting people she shrugged and looked at her older brother. "Yes brother dear, what may I assist you with?" She asked with fake politeness as she had once again been awoken from sleep. Adélia couldn't help but look at Sarah once again, picking up on her affection towards her brother. Whether it was romantic or not, there was still some form of affection towards the ever so innocent Benji.

"Quentin will get it on the first try and if not, Brec, Tris, and Ingrid will be there for sure" Benji replied then pressed a button on the intercom. "Hey Brec, we're good to go now" He said before looking back at Sarah. "Also, I'm not a clubbing type of-" Before Benji could finish his sentence, Adélia made her way to them and popped up a question. "Did I ever tell you that you are one of my favorite sisters? Wanna give Benji a hug?" The young teen stood up and stretched his arms out.

Adélia narrowed her eyes slightly as her loving brother who said she was one of his favorite sisters. "You have like three other sisters Benji. I'd hope that I'm a favorite" She said and hugged her brother, making sure to give him a nice and warm hug. "I swear if you pull a prank on me I will seriously make your life hell" Adélia threatened sweetly and patted her brother's back once she was finished with her hug. She looked at Sarah and placed a hand on her shoulder and leaned in to whisper something in her ear. "Make sure to keep Benji smiling. I like when my brother is happy around you" Adélia smiled at Sarah before returning to her seat, glancing over at the two.

Benji hugged Adélia back. She really did give some of the best hugs. The hug ended within a few seconds causing the teen to furrow his brows. "You expect so much out of me" He replied in response to her prank comment. "Excuse me, miss! I wasn't done with you yet" Benji paused for a moment after realizing that he just sounded like their father. "I mean, Adélia I have a question for you" He rephrased.

Sarah rolled her eyes still smiling from Benji's objections, then grinned at Adelia as she came over to them. She laughed softly from the siblings, and gave them their moment. Adelia's threat to Benji made Sarah smirk amused, and the teen found herself immediately take a greater liking on the other girl. She was funny. Sarah was surprised when Adelia whispered to her, and a genuine smile grew on her face. The words touched Sarah and she glanced at Benji, wondering if the other girl's words had more meaning. She gave Adelia a small nod, then continued listening to the siblings converse.

"Well say that earlier Benji" Adélia said and jumped to her feet again as she headed back over to Benji and looked at him. "Your question sir?" She asked and looked at the smiling Sarah and slightly confused Benji. Running a back through her blonde hair she watched as the two teens looked at her with completely different expressions. Adélia was still weary of Benji since he was known for his innocent pranks, however she wasn't in the mood to get something that could make her more awake than she actually was.

"Can you please wake Greyson up? I need him to help me test out an experiment of mine" Benji requested to Adélia. He glanced back and forth between Sarah and Adélia who had just exchanged some kind of silent communication. Hey! Were they talking about me? Ah whatever. He thought to himself then waited for his sister's response.

Adélia raised an eyebrow at her brother and then pointed towards the sleeping older boy. Suddenly she felt a bit nervous as she had no idea how he would react to her waking up Grey. "Y-you want me to wake him up?" Adélia asked as if clarifying her brother's statement. She didn't feel like getting glared at by Grey or someone because she woke him up. She had no idea if he was a person that would be normal when woken up. Adélia knew that she hated being woken up before she was ready.
