Realistic or Modern Retaliation

She stared at him, dead silence filling the air before she started laughing, "Hahahahahaha, you're kidding, right?" She raised a brow, watching his hands work the wheel skillfully, she then looked back to the passed out girl, "So, even Benji is involved in this whole thing... who else?" She had begun to realize that he was indeed, not kidding. The car passed along the road quickly, her eyes were now fixated on the pavement. "Seriously..." She rolled down the window and dropped her phone, watching it smash into pieces as the car went on. She slid off her shades, rubbing a hand along her brow, "Oh my God..."

Arizona began to wake up, and she panicked. Slowly she began to open the door to the car but she stopped while trying to process everything.

Where is my gun, where is my backpack, where am I, thoughts ran through her head.

She touched her head, wincing and letting out a small sigh.

She began to sit up, wondering where they were going and who was driving the car.

"Hi." She said plainly because she had too many questions. Tears beginning to well up in her eyes because she was overwhelmed and scared.

"Take it all in. I wouldn't lie about something this ridiculous" Grey bluntly stated before looking at the rear mirror to see Arizona awaken. "Arizona watch out next time. Got hit right in the head by some foreign dude. Had to piggy back you here" He said rushing through a stop light. "And why did you leave? You were supposed to stay with the rest of them" The teen added gripping the wheel a bit tighter.

"Sorry." She said calmly a tear falling from her face as she looked out of the window.

That response would cover all the answers, even though she wasn't that sorry. She was starting to get angry, what did she do that pissed him off all the time, she thought they were friends. Let alone she's been shot at, hit in the head, and could use someone to at least be a decent human being.

Tris Callahan

Tris, w̶h̶o̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶s̶u̶d̶d̶e̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶t̶r̶a̶n̶s̶p̶o̶r̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶o̶ ̶G̶r̶e̶y̶s̶o̶n̶'̶s̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶ ̶b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶r̶o̶l̶e̶p̶l̶a̶y̶e̶r̶'̶s̶ ̶s̶c̶h̶e̶d̶u̶l̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶b̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶a̶n̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶c̶c̶i̶d̶e̶n̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶f̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶h̶i̶n̶d̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶'̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶p̶l̶e̶a̶s̶e̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶r̶r̶y̶ had been conveniently talking on the phone since she had gotten into the car. "No, no, listen, Mom. We're fine. We're gonna be okay. Just listen. We have to sort some things out. We'll be home soon, I promise. In the meantime, you should try finishing that 1,000 piece puzzle you started!" Her voice sounded fake with optimism but her mom didn't seem to notice. "Sweet, okay, love you too Mom. See ya." Tris hit end on the cheap flip phone, and then proceed to angrily break the crappy phone into two halfs and threw it out the window. Sighing loudly, she just now took the time to look and see who else was in the car with her. There was a sad looking girl who she didn't recognize... Wait. Wait a second. And then it hit her. "Arizona? Is that you?" A hint of a smile appeared on Tris's face, completely oblivious to the girl's tears. The two had been really good friends when they were both young but hadn't seen much of each other since Ari moved away. "It's been a hell of a long time since I've seen your ugly face." Tris nearly laughed, knowing that Arizona would pick up on her sarcasm right away.

Grey stayed silent for a few moments before glancing at Arizona. " . . . Your head still hurt?" He asked before noticing a tear roll down her cheek. Gah what's she cryin' about? The teen thought to himself before making a right turn. Tris suddenly spoke up. Wow, it was as if she just teleported into the car. Maybe it was just because she didn't go into the airport? The Montreal's garage soon began to come into view. Benji walked into the jet to check out the interior.

"We can't pull over here" Grey replied in a serious manner before moving a hand through his hair and making another turn. They were getting closer to the Montreal's hangar anyway. Grey relaxed his grip on the steering wheel. "Yo Brec this place is awesome!" Benji exclaimed looking through the different compartments.

Brec was in the zone not even noticing when Benji walked in. She was quietly talking to the jet telling her how she was a pure beauty and she can't wait to fly her. She wanted the others to hurry up and get on the jet already so she could leave and see what this beauty is really all about. She continued touching the controls making sure not to touch the switches and buttons that started the engine of the jet. She closed her eyes and decided to relax in the cockpit, she had enough time to fly the big metal of beauty and she didn't want to rush the experience. She wondered where Grey and the others were, they should have been back around this time.

"Just give me a second" Grey said shifting the gear and speeding into the hangar. He quickly got out of the car and swung Arizona's door open. A car engine sounded through the hangar causing Benji to step out of the jet and see the grey car quickly park near the rest of the vehicles. "They're here!" Benji announced running down the stairs of the jet. "Benji ice please" Grey requested.

Tris Callahan

Having been completely oblivious to what happened to Arizona before, Tris was actually kind of irked that the girl didn't reply to her. That only lasted until Tris realized that something was quite off with her friend. "Ari, what the heck? Are you okay? What happened?" As they pulled into the hangar, Tris couldn't help it as her mouth fell open. This place was huuuuuge. It was bigger than the Callahan's house even. That fact alone sparked a a little jealousy in the girl. Why was her family being dragged into this? It was clear the framers were only after the Montreal's money, so why bring the Callahans into this? Sighing yet again, Tris ran a hand through her tangled hair. Who knew. This whole thing was downright insane.

The events at the rec center were a blur to both Sarah and Ashlynn. Everything was going smoothly- at least as smooth as things could go when everyone was framed as criminals- until Arizona Parker showed up out of nowhere and got caught. They were both shocked to see the older girl, for it had been awhile since they had seen her. She was a welcome surprise, though it would have been better if she hadn't gotten caught. Sarah and Ash quickly packed up at the news, and destroyed their phones- which was painful for Sarah to do. She followed through nonetheless, understanding the importance of the action.

The girl's took their rides to Sarah's family's private jet. Sarah felt a slight smugness at the fact that her family could provide the group with something that they were in desperate need of. The Montreal's money will definitely be a big help in this huge mess. Sarah went straight into the jet and made herself at home in it, because honestly, it was part of her home.

Ash nearly stopped breathing when she heard that her adopted older sister Veronica was at the airport and would be joining them soon. Ashlynn hadn't seen Veronica in what felt like so long. She didn't realize she missed her so much. Waiting to see her sister to arrive felt like torture. Ashlynn stuck by Emet to distract her until Veronica arrived. When she heard Benji announce Grey, Tris, Arizona, and Veronica's arrival she quickly rushed out of the plane, towards Grey's car. She saw Veronica and her eyes started to water. "V-Veronica!?" She called out.

Arizona tried to place a foot on the ground but wobbled and ended up reaching for Greyson.

"Medicine." She said she could barely hear or see the pounding in her head was unbearable.

So much lifting in one day. Grey carried Arizona bridal style, "Just close your eyes and rest". Benji nodded rushing into the jet, "Sarah, you guys have a first aid kit in here or something? Ice packs, medication?" The older teen walked into the jet and laid Arizona down onto some of the seats. What's with the waterworks? Grey thought to himself seeing Ashlynn's watery eyes.

"First aid...?" Sarah questioned Benji concerned. She raised her eyebrows when Grey entered with Arizona. "What happened?" The teen asked as she looked at all of them, trying to remember where the first aid would be. It clicked in her mind and she stood up, rushing to the cabinet where it was stowed away. She quickly grabbed it out, then brought it by Grey, "Here!" Sarah looked at Arizona nervously.

"Thanks" Grey said taking the first aid kit in his hands. "Ashlynn mind helping out here? I'm not much of a healer" He stated recalling her whole medic volunteering motion. "Went to the airport and Arizona got hit on the head with a steel container" The teen added setting the kit aside. "So much going on" Benji said from the side as he took out one of his laptops.

"Yikes..." Sarah muttered, watching. Ashlynn barely heard Grey call out to her as she looked at her sister. Veronica didn't seem to notice her yet. She sighed, and forced her head to turn towards Grey, wondering what he was talking about. Her eyes widened when she saw Arizona, and Ashlynn forced her sisterly reunion to wait as she bolted over to Grey. "For crying out loud..." Ashlynn muttered under her breath as she toke the first aid kit from Grey. It wasn't from annoyance towards him or Arizona, just nervousness. She didn't like to see people hurt. Ash opened the kit and and started to treat Arizona's injury to the best of her ability. "Remember- I'm no expert..." She whispered to Grey. "I hope she doesn't have a concussion..." Her eyes widened, "Don't let her sleep!" She exclaimed noticing the girl's relaxed state.

" . . . okay" Grey gently patted Arizona's left cheek. "Don't sleep. Stay awake" He said in a monotone voice. Benji continued to type away at his laptop, "Is it okay if we just get the penthouse suite, or would you all prefer separate rooms again?" Grey didn't care about the rooming situation. It wasn't him that was paying for it anyway. He stuck his hand in his pocket then took out some fake IDs. "Made these by the way. Names were randomized" The teen stated passing out everyone's fake IDs.

"I don't mind about the rooms. Though a penthouse suite sounds nice. So long as it's big!" Sarah told Benji, going over to watch him. She looked at the ID Grey gave her. Kristen Ayers. She rose her eyebrows as she tried to picture herself with the name. "Hm." She shrugged, then found herself grinning as she thought about how she could change everybody's looks based off their new names. "This is going to be fun..." She muttered to herself. Ashlynn kept her focus on Arizona as subconsciously grabbed the ID from Grey. She gave it a brief glance, Riley Foster, then continued to work, holding an icepack to Ari's head.

Arizona opened her eyes and said in a groggy voice "Can you talk to me, quietly?" She asked.

"Tell me your plans, or about you, or just talk to me."

"Thank you Ash, can I have some water." She said in a groggy voice.

"Got it penthouse it is" Benji continued to type then paused after receiving his ID and hearing Sarah's comment. His gaze shifted to Sarah, "You sound so evil right now". Grey nodded at Arizona and looked at Ashlynn, "She talking to you Ash?" Nicholas Wright. Benji read his ID then slid it into one of his pockets.

@Lexi Whittaker @goldcat16471

Benji's words distracted Sarah out of her thoughts, and her gaze shifted to the boy in amusement, "Oh, I just have some great plans for you all." She smirked, then walked to her bag and pulled out a notebook. Sarah had been sketching her ideas for each person's disguise in it before they had to abandon the rec center. She handed it to Benji, "Here's a few. They're nowhere near complete though." She told him, watching for his reactions.

Ashlynn bit her lip as Arizona spoke, then nodded towards Grey. "Okay. Hold on Arizona. Just hold on." She rushed to get the girl a bottle of water then handed it to her carefully, as she tried to think of what to say, "Hm... Well, I guess it'd be a good idea to make sure you remember everything... Arizona you know who we all are right...?" She asked cautiously, hoping the girl's condition wasn't worse than she thought.

Benji flipped through the first few pages then immediately put it down before reaching whatever page he was on. "Nopey nope nope" He shook his head then looked at the laptop. As he typed in some more stuff, Benji said, "So how was your morning? Did you wake up to a beautiful sight?" The young teen smiled while continuing his work. Grey sat down on a seat and leaned back as he folded his arms behind his head.

Sarah laughed, amused at Benji's reaction. "You're going to have to follow through with it Benji! You know that! Come on. A little hair and makeup is worth it when it will save our lives." She grinned and watched as he typed stuff. His comment made her flush ever so slightly and she looked away smiling, "I woke up to a mirror in front of my face, and it scared me. So I don't think that's a good sign..." She joked, then rolled her eyes. "I'm guessing that was your doing, wasn't it?" She asked, again recalling the conversation from yesterday night.
