Realistic or Modern Retaliation

Adélia sat back and watched as everyone started talking about the whole training thing. Pulling out her IPod she began playing a game on it, half paying attention to the conversation at hand. She took out her hair tie and let her blonde hair down which wasn't something she usually did unless she was upset. Adélia ran a hand through her hair and let her bangs fall in front of her face as she played her game. She grabbed her earbuds from her jacket as well and then plugged them in so she could listen to the game. She didn't exactly know what to do with the whole training thing so she planned on talking to Benji later. Suddenly Adélia stood up and looked at her IPod frantically. "Crap I can't believe I forgot. I'm such a horrible person sometimes" She muttered and turned off her IPod and shoved everything in her jacket pocket.

Ashlynn and Sarah listened as the others bantered. Ash was taken aback from Grey and Brec's harsh words to each other. Luckily, it didn't get any worse because Benji brought up the fighting idea. "We're training to fight..." Ash grumbled in realization. The young teen hated fighting. She didn't want to practice violence. She understood the point of it, but the whole idea turned her stomach upside down. Hurting people was not in her nature. "What would a person learn in the sneak training...? Because I'm pretty sure that's the only one I'm going to be any good at." She sighed, suddenly feeling useless. "Somebody should train in the medical field. That could come in handy, and I know I can manage that. Helping people over hurting people. I like that idea..." She scowled ever so slightly. Ashlynn didn't want to complain, but the thought of fighting really did scare her.

All the while Sarah was absorbed in Brec's purple hair. Learning to fight wasn't a big deal to Sarah. Most of her battles were fought in words, but learning some self defense could come in handy. It could keep the jerks who wanted to use her away, and of course, it would help them all in their current situation. Sarah kept out of the immediate conversation and instead asked a random question, "When did you do that to your hair Brec? It looks nice. Different, but nice. You make it work." She was serious and genuine as she spoke. Suddenly, Ash and Sarah heard Adelia, and they both looked at the girl confused.

"In all practicality, not everyone would be able to be out on the field anyway. All right, here's a better idea. We train at what each and every single one of us is already good at. We'll do fighting some other time. We'll put our experienced fighters into the field. Practical? Yes. Now, we need lunch!" Benji announced. He looked at Adélia, "What? Did you forget your charger?" The young teen shifted his gaze around the area, "Our first stop is Vegas. The H. L. has a base over there. I've already managed to hack into their security system; however, I'm going to need to know more than just that. Our objective in Vegas is to download files onto a USB I will give you. We will get to their master computer, download, and erase".

Grey leaned against a post, "Thought we're supposed to take down the HQs". "Right, we'll take them down by destroying their master computer. The USB I will give you will assist in its destruction . . . I made the USB so yeah" Benji replied. Grey turned his head toward Ash, "Medical field? You can probably help out Lexi with her ankle then".

Adélia looked behind her and shook her head. "No Benji I forgot that today is my mom's anniversary of death" the blonde said quietly as she began picking up her stuff. She looked at everyone as they began talking about lunch. "I can help make lunch if you want" she offered as she began to make sure that everything was collected. Adélia usually just did things that she used to do for her mother on the anniversary, even though she was the only one that knew about it. To some it seemed strange for her to do happy things on the day that her mother died, but to her it seemed only natural to be happy and relive the things she remembered from her time with her mother. Even though she loved the Parker family so much, she still loved her deceased mother.

Ashlynn listened to Benji's words, and nodded along to them. The mention of Lexi's ankle made her gaze shift to the older girl, and Ash frowned in concern, "If you need anything, I'll help you." She told Lexi then she glanced at Grey, "I'm no medical expert, but I know a heck of a lot more in medicine than fighting..." Sometimes when Ashlynn was suffering from complete and utter boredom she'd pull out a health book and study things from it. It was weird, yes, but it came in good use. Suddenly, the younger girl thought of something and she bit her lip. "You guys... What if in the process of destroying their HQs, we get caught? Or else we actually end up..." Ash gulped, "We end up killing someone...? Then we really will be criminals."

"Oh right . . . sorry about that" Benji apologized to Adélia. "Yeah. So? It's for a good reason" Greyson said masking his true thoughts about killing someone. He had almost done that a few moments ago when he was with Lexi. It was for a good reason. "They're out to kill us. Why can't we kill them?" Grey questioned. The older teen looked around for a bit, "What if we try our missions with no violence first. Disguises, acting, and all that".

Lexi Montreal

Lexi sat in her seat quietly as she listened to the group of girls and boys talking about all sorts of topics - fighting skills, lunch, taking down Humane Labs and all sorts. She was just watching them speak, her head and eyes following the conversation. "It would be a good idea to start off with no violence." She adds on to Grey, deciding to speak up now since she'd done no talking whatsoever. "This is the first time anything's happened like this, so.. most of us are pretty scared with the whole having to train and learning to adapt to this type of environment."

[Ahh, sorry. I was with my familyyy.]

Ashlynn frowned from Grey's first response. Her concerns were still running high. "If we kill somebody, we'd still be criminals even after we cleared our names for the original crimes..." She mumbled then sighed. All of this was so fragile. One mistake and their lives will be ruined. Ash closed her eyes for a bit, trying to keep calm. Then she opened them, "If we can keep violence to a minimum for as long as we can, that would be best. Only use it if it proves to be absolutely necessary, or as self-defense..." Then she glanced at Lexi and nodded. "You're right about that. I don't think any of us are ever going to get fully used to this... Well, most of us." She added thinking of her brother Ace. He was pretty involved in crimes already, so this might not be that much of a difference.

"In that case I'm gonna get back to my computers and try to see ways we can get ourselves into the Vegas HQ. Anyone who wants to help or who is good at acting or disguises please come with me" Benji requested walking out of the training area. Grey lightly pushed himself off from the post and followed Benji. The young teen hummed as he entered the garage once again before taking a seat on his new spinny chair. "What's the plan?" Grey asked entering after him. Benji typed away on his computer, "Connections. We'll work our way in . . . ".

The word 'disguises' peaked Sarah's interest. She grinned ever so slightly, "I'm coming." She told Benji following him out. The concerns being voiced earlier by others did make Sarah slightly nervous, but the girl was good at hiding it. She wasn't going to show weakness. She entered into the garage and hovered by Benji, watching him type on the computer. It made no sense to her, though she forced herself to stay focus and listen to Benji and Grey.

Ash hesitated about going with Benji. She was about to, when her insecurities kicked in and she figured she already brought up enough problems for the others to think about. So she decided to stay out of the way for now. Ashlynn looked at Adelia and Lexi. "Shall we go to the kitchen and make some lunch?" She asked them.

"Yo Sarah" Benji said clicking a few buttons then turning the monitor to Sarah and Grey. "This is Paul Sheckler. He's not married, got no kids, and is the head of the Vegas branch" The young teen explained then shifted his gaze to Grey. "He's got a younger sister Jasmine Sheckler who's around your age" Benji looked back at the monitors then opened up another browser. "Apparently Jasmine is quite the rebel. While Paul is busy hitting up the tables, Jasmine or Jazzy as they call her is busy hitting up the clubs. She goes to this one club in particular . . . we could get some information from her. How does that sound?" Benji glanced at the two for a moment before searching up some more stuff.

Sarah nodded along to what Benji was saying, "That could be useful. Who do you think would be good at getting information out of her, and what information exactly are we looking for?" She asked, glancing at the other two teens. A clubber like this 'Jazzy' girl could prove to be helpful. If she's mindless enough, she could spill some valuable information on the HQ. They all would just have to be careful not to slip up and raise suspicions.

"Any weaknesses, hints, secrets, and all that" Benji replied vaguely. "Fighting revolves around hating. Opposite of hate is love so . . . Maybe Brec can become best friends with her?" The young teen questioned. "Don't know if that's possible in one day" Grey said from the side. "Ah what do you think Sarah? Any ideas?" Benji asked.

A grin formed on Sarah's face from Benji's reasoning. It wasn't a bad idea if Brec could pull it off. If not Brec, any of the girls could try to befriend this 'Jazzy.' However, Sarah had another idea. Her eyes flicked to Grey, "She's around your age? And she's a clubber?" She started playing with her nails, "Maybe some seduction can get some secrets out of her." The teen shrugged amused, and she refocused her attention on Grey. "Maybe you or one of the other older guys could pull that off." She laughed softly.

Brec popped her head up when her name was spoken. "Woah woah...I can do what?" She asked hopping off the counter walking over to them she slipped her Ipod into her pants pocket then looked at the screen. Jazzy. "You mean I have to be friends with this girl?" She asked still looking at the screen.

"Let the other guys do it" Grey responded bluntly as he moved a hand through his hair. "Hey Sarah this girl's got some dating profiles. Mind searching through it?" Benji asked backing away from the Zoosk screen to give Sarah some space. "Perhaps we should have a plan A and B. We'll need more than one person on the field. Probably two or three to be safe" He added.

Sarah laughed softly, getting the exact reaction she expected from Greyson. "I don't know Grey, I'm sure you have charm hidden inside you somewhere..." She teased while turning to look at the dating profile. She scrolled through Jasmine's profile. The girl had lots of pictures, and wasn't shy about posting things of her in the club. "Cheap..." Sarah muttered to herself. No matter what others thought about the teen, Sarah actually liked real relationships, and hated those who were too easy. Being among the popular group many people figured Sarah was like that. Which was why the jocks got surprised when she turned them down. Which was also why she was hesitant about Hunter. When she finally had enough, Sarah backed away from the screen and looked at Benji, "Having someone flirt with her will be easy, but I'm not sure how good she is about keeping valuable secrets about the family's business. She might be a hard nut to crack, or... Well easy to take advantage of. Either way she seems quite the flirt." Sarah shrugged, not bothering to hold back the judgement in her face. Then she glanced at Brec and smiled at the older girl.

"I don't" Greyson responded. "Why can't we just go straight to the man himself?" He asked. "Paul Sheckler doesn't get out that much. Well he does, but he doesn't log in his places like his sister does. This girl's got Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram all on her tail. That's right friends. Change the security on your accounts . . . you know, after we get through all this" Benji replied. "Benji you do it" Grey said. "Do you what?" The younger teen asked. "Flirt with her. You're smooth. All you need is a fake I. D. like that girl has and some practice" The older teen clarified.

"I don't feel like Paul would be willing to spill secrets about the HQ..." Sarah said softly. Then she looked at Benji and Grey, and grinned from the older teen's suggestion. Sarah threw an arm around Benji's shoulders. "Oh yes. Benji, why not you? You could pull it off I'm sure!" She smiled at him excited. "Besides... You'd probably be better at it than half the older guys here." She considered that for a moment, "I can only see Quentin out of all the older guys willing to do it. "

Benji narrowed his eyes at Sarah, "Is that sarcasm?" "All ya need to do is be a club type of guy" Grey stated adjusting his sleeve before looking back at the others. "Let's get Quentin. He's the natural at this stuff . . . I guess" Benji said avoiding eye contact with the rest of them. "You got a monologue award right next to your student of the month certificate" The older teen randomly mentioned. Benji paused, "So?" "You can act" Grey concluded. "Backup plans? Quentin can go first. If he doesn't catch her, then I will. If she's not interested then we can let Brec and Tris have some girl talk" Benji suggested.

Sarah scoffed, "It wasn't sarcasm Benji!" She crossed her arms and pouted. "Here I was routing for you, and you didn't even try. Hm." She turned away. "I bet you'd be good if you at least tried." Sarah grumbled. She got very excited when Grey came up with the idea, and was still happy the older teen was trying to convince Benji. Unfortunately, he wouldn't buy it. "Fine. Then you go and find Quentin and explain to him everything we found out and what he has to do... I haven't seen him all day."

"Girl" Benji began turning his head to Sarah. "Do. Not. Sass. Me" He clapped after every word. "I'll look for him in a bit. We got to get to work right now though. First, I need a fake I.D. Second, you guys gotta help me. Third, I'm really getting hungry food sounds really good right now. Fourth, am I missing something?" The teen asked. "Sarah help the kid out with his looks will ya" Grey took his jacket off then tossed it over to Benji. "Make him look a bit rough. No make up maybe the hair though" He suggested.

Sarah gave Benji a half glare/half smirk as he spoke. "I think you're the one getting sassy Benji..." She laughed then raised an eyebrow. "First, we'll make you a fake I.D. soon. Second, you mean help teach you some flirting techniques, right?" She winked and smirked, "Third, agreed. And fourth, I don't know, are you?" She turned away from him and grinned at Grey, "Oh, gladly!" She clapped her hands excitedly and studied Benji. "Come here Benji." Sarah said before reaching a hand out, and started running it through his hair experimenting with different looks.

"Gah! GEEZ! What's wrong with my hair?" Benji asked moving his head away from Sarah's hand. "It's up and extreme isn't it?!" He added as he tried to fix his hair back. "Looks like a duck's tail" Grey commented before looking at the monitors and scanning through the Vegas branch HQ map. "RUDE!" Benji exclaimed.

"Relax Benji! Your hair is fabulous!" Sarah exclaimed in amusement. Greyson's comment made her burst into laughter and she ran a hand through her own hair while studying Benji. "Your hair is on point, okay? But there's no way you're going into the field looking like yourself and risk getting recognized. If there was the option to keep you looking like your own flawless self, I would totally leave you as you are. But the risk is not worth it, so we got to change you up, mmkay?" With that she grabbed his arm pulling him closer, and started messing with his hair again, a grin plastered on her face.
