"Im not training." Amanda once again repeated, looking back-and-forth between Grey and Lexi. She sat down with a smirk before saying "you guys could train together… If you know what I mean." She said with a small wink.
Adélia curled up in her bedroom as she slept soundly, her headphones blocking out most of the noise from the outside. Only the top of her blonde head could be seen as she snuggled deeply into the fluffy blankets. The weeks events swirled through her brain as she tried to think of something that might make everyone feel better. Of course dating someone would be an obvious option, but she didn't know who would actually partner up. Maybe once this was figured out they could have a proper reunion without all the illegal drama. Adélia thought of something for a second, but soon forgot it. It was something that was important to her, but not really to anyone else. Anyways she was too tired to think correctly. Plus she was half asleep so that didn't help at all.
Lexi couldn't help but grin widely when she finally managed to get Grey to say something. "If you're hungry then it would make sense if you went to eat lunch before training but then again, training straight after lunch.. eh.." She laughs a bit. She looks over at Amanda and raises an eyebrow at the girl, "Why don't you want to train?" She asks her then sticks her tongue out at her when she adds on that last comment with a wink.
She shrugged. "I dont think training and I would mix... Thats all." She said honestly, smiling. "Trust me, i'd rather be attacked or kidnapped than actually train to protect myself if im attacked or kidnapped." She said with a laugh.
Brec looked up from her Ipod seeing Benji, Grey and the others enter. "You guys ready to train?" She stood up and put her Ipod in her pocket before pushing Cameron out the way. Walking to the boxing ring she slid in the ring standing back up before looking at the others. "...Welcome to training with Breckenridge 101..."
Grey raised a brow and looked at Amanda, "That's what we were going to do". "Guess a late lunch will be okay" He mumbled not really caring anyway. It was really more for the sake of the others. It was 1:45 p. m. not too bad. Benji calmly walked down the halls and knock on Adélia's door, "Yo! Can your bro come in?" He knocked again, "Are you even in here?" Grey's gaze shifted to Brec. What . . . this some kind of game? He questioned in his mind watching Brec announce her own presence in a slightly indirect manner.
"Damn, Amanda.. that's not cool." Lexi says with a small frown when she says this. "You may think that but you have people that care about you here, none of us would want anything bad to happen to you.. which is why we need to train." She nods then smiles at her to lighten up the mood. She then turned to look at Grey and Brec, "Who's training who? Would it be easier if we partnered up?"
Adélia groaned slightly and hid deeper in her blankets as she barely heard someone speaking. The blonde Parker squeezed her eyes closed as she slowly began to fall back asleep. The music was calmly her down which meant she would sleep quite peacefully if not disturbed. Adélia was known for her love of yogurt and sleep. The girl fell deeper into sleep as she felt warmer and more content.
Grey looked at Lexi, "Depends . . . ". "What experience do you have?" He questioned as he shifted his eyes to Brec. Hm. Benji thought slowly opening the door and seeing the sleeping Adélia. The young teen smiled. An idea began to form in his head. He could either wake her up and mess with her, or let her sleep and surprise her with something when she wakes up. Or both. Benji walked over to Adélia then thought for a moment before advancing any further.
Adélia's dream wasn't really one that was remarkable or anything. She was simply reliving the last day of her school year. She was sitting at her usual table in the library and was working on some big report. Adélia's dream then changed to the last reunion where she got acquainted with some people she hadn't talked to in a couple years. Suddenly the dreaming girl felt something staring at her through the covers which made her curl up even more. She mumbled something in audible as she shifted slightly.
Benji had noticed Adélia's feelings toward the situation they were in and the people they had to team up with. She wasn't really comfortable. Might as well try to cheer her up . . . . Benji style. The teen thought to himself. ". . YOGURT APOCALYPSE!" Benji yelled immediately attacking Adélia's ticklish spots.
Immediately someone began tickling Adélia which made her start squealing as she tried to wriggle away from the 'attacker'. "I can't breathe!" She managed out as she tried to uncover herself and get away from the person. Her giggles filled the room as she continued to get tickled. Adélia finally got her head out from underneath the blankets and saw her attacker. "Benji?!" She squeaked as she finally got a good look at him.
"Come on! Time for training!" Benji announced raising his arms in the air. He tilted his head a bit and looked at Adélia. Out of no where he put his arms around Adélia then carried her over his shoulder. "I also have to show Lexi that I CAN lift people up. I ain't just brains you know?" The young teen walked out of the room before accidentally hitting his other shoulder onto the door frame. Benji lost balance for a bit, but managed to regain it.
Adélia was about to make a witty remark to her brother when he picked her up and put her over his shoulder. "Benji put me down! I'm not a sack of potatoes!" She complained and squeaked when he lost his balance for a moment. The young Parker held onto Benji's shirt tightly as he carried her. "If you drop me I swear you'll regret it" the threat wasn't very threatening as she was clinging to him for dear life so she wasn't in the scary mood. "Why do I have to train? I mean everyone here is already so scary if they started to fight they could like win against anyone. You see I'm harmless by nature, more of a talker actually so training for me doesn't do me much good" Adélia explained pathetically as she watched her bedroom get further and further away.
"You train for self defense! I wouldn't want some random person to grab you out of the blue and easily capture you!" Benji explained walking into the training area and putting Adélia down. "See Lexi? I can carry people! I'm not a walking stick" He stated triumphantly walking toward the boxing ring then making his way into it.
Adélia just fell to her knees and sent a glare over at Benji. "That's why you woke me up?!" She asked angrily and crossed her arms. There are two things in this world that you should never do to Adélia. The first was taking away her yogurt, the second was waking her up. Before she could say another word she noticed someone she hadn't talked to in years which instantly shut her up and mumble an apology as she wandered over to a chair in the corner of the room. Adélia pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs, looking at the pattern of her jeans.
Lexi watched as Brec and Grey talked about what type of fighting skills they can do. She then turned to the direction where she could hear Adélia rant on about not wanting to train before laughing at how Benji proved he could carry people. "I was only teasing you, Benji." She says, shaking her head. "And there's nothing wrong with training, you guys.. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to learn how to protect yourselves." She shrugs her shoulders, "If it wasn't for my ankle, I'd want to train."
Adélia had plenty of reasons why she was against training, but she kept those thoughts to herself. Instead she sunk lower in her seat since people had actually heard her complaining to her brother. Her face burned in embarrassment and even her ears were red as she tried to hide her shame by keeping her gaze on her jeans. Adélia was never one for violence or anything like that to begin with. She preferred letting the people that actually could fight handle the physical stuff while she handled any social aspect of a situation. She naturally was able to distract people with her fantastic improv skills so she relied on them.
Brec looked at Adelia and Amanda rolling her purple eyes. "I'll tell you why they don't want to train...cause they're fucking p*ssies..." She said in a stoic nonchalant voice. "So what if they don't get kidnapped today or tomorrow...they could get kidnapped any day and not know what to fucking do...they're weak...and the only way for them to shut their little mouths is to train them from dusk till dawn..." She hopped out of the boxing ring then walked over to Amanda and Adelia. "So ladies...still want to be p*ssies...or do you want to learn how to defend yourself no matter the circumstances...cause all I hear right now is complaining and cowards..." She told them slipping her hands inside her pockets.
"I suggest we see where everyone is at with some kind of placement test?" Benji said looking around. Brec's words caught him off guard. The teen furrowed his brows, "HEY! Don't talk to my sisters like that!" "There are other ways to convince them" He explained. "Anyway, you got a plan Brec?" Greyson asked implying how she would train the group.
She shrugged. "I dont see any reason to defend myself against something that isnt offensive." She growled back at Brec, shrugging. "Id rather stay a- quote unquote- 'p*ssie'."
Adélia kept her gaze on her jeans as she listened to the harsh words. Not replying to what everyone was saying she just thought of something. She thought of the time she spent with her family before this messed up thing happened. Leaning back slightly she looked up at Brec and just gave her a warm smile before messing with the pendent around her neck. Adélia didn't feel like she needed to actually talk to this woman since she was familiar with her enough yet. Frankly she was so jumpy that if she tried to speak it would come out in stutters which she didn't want. Adélia was known for being quite weak when it came to lower her self esteem so at that moment in time she couldn't feel much worse. So instead she have the harsh woman a smile as if to say that she obviously wasn't going to fight against what her brother wanted her to do.
Brec looked at Benji then moved over to his location. "You're probably one too but just don't know it yet..." She glared at him before flicking him in the forehead. She turned and looked at Grey. "We test out your skills first...whatever you need improvement on Cameron and I will train you on it..."
