' like me? What's so special about me?' Zero shrugged at his comment. She silently chucked when he sushed someone only he could see 'is he schizophrenic like me?' She questions. Zero stops at the middle of the hallway. She looks of to the left where at the far end was another hallway and down that way is where her room is. She seems too be the only one living thay way. Zero had guessed that her brother must-have arranged it like that so that she wouldn't be bothered when she became.....difficult.... She looks at the other end where everybody else have Thier room. Each door decorated with whatever the occupant liked. ' he should live with the others and not a freak like me....' zero looked at Xavier feeling a little sad. She grinned as she pointed where the others lived "everybody lives over there. Thier noisy and at times loud with Thier music but pretty nice if you ask me." Zero put her sleeves in her pockets. " but there should still be room. I'm sure you'll get along great with everyone. Welcome to saint Joseph!" Zero cheered.

It took Emma a while to register who the voice belonged to. Her thoughts for some odd reason were moving alarmingly slow, and her head hurt immensely. "H-Hadley?" She asked. Her eyes looked around wildly until they found his. Instantly, the fear that had been bubbling up inside of Emma was quelled. She tried to sit up but winced from the heaviness and pain in her head. Emma laid back down trying to remember what happened when it came to her. She had tried to impress Hadley by getting up onto Faust, when she fell and must have hit the ground pretty hard. Emma sighed and managed a small smile at Hadley. "Don't look so scared, I'm not dead yet Hadley Larson."

Xavier looked down the hall, noticing little decorations on a lot of the doors. He smiled at Zero brightly. "Thanks. Let me claim a room, then you can take me on that tour." Walking down the hall, Xavier carefully peeked into a few of the open doors to see what rooms were empty. 'So many people,' he thought, entering a room with out decorations or someone's stuff. Putting his backpack down, he tossed his clothes into a pile in a closet, then set a few books and notebooks on a desk in the corner along with several pencils. He nodded approvingly and turned to leave, then stopped and scribbled his name on a piece of paper, tacking it to the outside of the door as he left the room and back over to Zero. "All done. Didn't have much, so didn't take too long," he laughed a little, burying his hands in his pockets. "Where to first?"

Hadley smiled when she responded to him, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, you were quiet enough to be. You scared me to death!" His voice as full of concern, but he was not scolding her - after all he wasn't her father. Hadley bent foreword and kissed her on the forehead. "Promise me you won't try anything like that again. I'm not saying to promise me to never try anything new, , just...be safe when you do." He smiled at her lovingly and held her hand in his, still trying to calm him heartbeat that was pumping rapidly with joy.

Emma couldn't shield the smile that stretched across her face. She loved how caring and nurturing Hadley was being surrounding her and her well being even though she knew for a fact if the roles were switched, she would do the same for him in a heartbeat. She intertwined their fingers. "I promise you." She looked into his eyes, and saw so much love reflecting back into her own and it made her heart soar despite her feeling terrible physically still. "Where are we..?"

i had leaned on the door frame and watched in amusement when he taped his name on the door. "hmm...well its getting really dark so outside isn't much of an option at this time unless you want to meet the animals and explore the barn. the garden barely has any light since no one remembers to put the lamps up.and the trails and pond are out of the question for now cause you can get lost or slip and drown in the water if you're not careful.... but i found a gameroom with allot of games in it. theres a t.v. room, a music room, a art room, um.... lets see...." my stomach rumbled, i laugh feeling my cheeks go warm "guess we should go to the kitchen first. have you eaten yet?" i ask him as i take his hand and start leading him downstairs.

"We are in my room." He told Emma with a sheepish smile. "I would have taken you to your own - no doubt you would have been more at home there - but I didn't have your key. I didn't know if it was locked or not and if it was I didn't want to look for the key. My room was closer and I just wanted to get you back to consciousness as quick as I could." He looked out the window, his fingers still intwined with hers, and noticed it was almost completely dark. He smiled at the sight of the full moon - the sun was almost completely gone, the sky almost entirely dark, and the full moon was about to light up this side of the world. He always loved the full moon - it being one of his favorite things about the world. It distracted him easily, as it was doing now, but he hadn't forgotten Emma nor her condition, not in the slightest. He turned to her, his face still radiant from her recent awakening and the sight of the moon, smiling. "Would you like some tylenol for that headache that you probably have, or may soon get? It's bound to come soon, what with that knock to the ground. I'll go get it out of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom if you'd like."

Xavier listened as Zero listed off all the places, silently amazed that the place he had been dumped happened to be really nice. 'How the Hell did I end up here?' he asked himself, then chuckled when Zero's stomach rumbled. His own stomach seemed to hear and grumbled as well, as if Zero's had cued his into remembering that Xavier had not in fact eaten all day, and he laughed. "The kitchen sounds good, I haven't eaten in a while. I can make a quick snack when we get there if you want," he looked over at Zero, thinking that offering a snack would be a good way to make some friends. Or at least repay her for being nice to him.

"You're home, Hadley." she said in a quiet voice. Emma cleared her throat and continued on. "I'm more comfortable with you then I am anywhere else." Upon his request of wondering whether or not she wanted medication, Emma realized how her head actually was hurting her. Being with Hadley had sheathed the pain, but since she was paying attention to it, it was a constant throbbing in her skull. Emma nodded in gratitude for the offer, and smiled at the way the moon's light reflected off of his handsome face. She had always loved this time of day; just as the sun was setting and the moon was rising in the sky to take it's place in lighting the Earth below. The fact that she was spending it with Hadley make her appreciate it even more - injured or not. As he left to go get the medication for her, Emma looked around his room slowly as not to bring herself more pain, curious to see all of what the inside of his quarters looked like.

zero grinned at the mention of a snack. "you know how to cook? thats cool! sure lets get a snack." she sheepishly rubbed the back of her head. "i think i know how to cook but..uh... not in my current state. but i'm told i can make a mean taco though." zero said as she left him by the counter and opened the refrigerator door. she looks at the ingredients as she pondered on what to make. "so why are you here for? you dont have to tell me though, just curious.um... have any hobbies?" zero says as she takes out ingredients for sandwiches. she faces xavier. "hey would you mind grabbing that loa-" zero paused as she started to see faint outlines of small figures sitting on his shoulders. there was the faint sound of devious laughter."that loaf of bread?" zero finished her sentence. 'shit. not now!' she cursed in her head as she realised that she was starting to see things again. 'its fine. just be cool. he wont notice....' zero set the ingredients on the counter and smiled at xavier.

Xavier laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I can cook. Pretty decently if I do say so myself." He smiled wider, standing up straighter to pretend like it was a big deal before chuckling and going over to the fridge, fishing out ingredients and handing the bread to Zero, silently noticing how she had paused. "I'm here because a bunch of stuff, all of it bull." He knew he was dodging her question, but played it off. "As for hobbies, I don't have many. I cook decently and write, but that's about it." As he talked, Xavier walked around the kitchen, going through the cabinets and pulling out bowls and other stuff. Mixing the ingredients in a big bowl, he turned on the oven and looked at Zero. "If I can ask, what are you doing here? You don't have to answer if you don't want to," he added quickly, then placed a cake pan with his mixture in the oven. "Brownies will be done in ten minutes," he chimed, setting a timer and leaning back on a counter to wait.

Zero grinned at Xavier her head in her right hand. "Woah. Brownies? Been a while since Ive had those." Zero chuckled but it seemed strained. She layed her head down on the counter feeling off balanced and fuzzy. Zero had her eyes closed for a moment then opened one eye to look at him. The elves were more see-able. There was mushrooms growing around the stove along with red fire like flowers. Plants started growing on the walls. " as for what I'm here for...my- ah- family had gotten into some trouble and wanted me in a safe place. They could of put me in a apartment with a body guard but...." Zero closed her eye and scrunched her face as a slight pain started to form in her head along with the sensation of her head feeling like it was being stuffed. She started having trouble speaking proper clear sentences. " I...um...h-have....extreme of. ..I mean a very extreme cases...case of schizophrenia....do..ya...you like music" zero smiled at Xavier while trying to stop the urge to hide under the counter. 'Great. Just when I started having a proper conversation with someone'

Xavier looked at Zero as she started talking, a frown slowly forming on his face as a pained expression appeared on Zero. When she said she had schizophrenia, he felt sympathetic and walked over to her, placing a hand on her back in a comforting gesture. "Hey, it's ok. I've got it too, you know?" He smiled, trying to let her know that he understood then answered her question. "Yeah, kinda. Mostly rock and alternative stuff." He always hated it when, as soon as someone found out he was a schizophrenic, they treated him completely differently than before even if he had known them for a long time. Figuring that Zero might be the same, he acted like everything was fine, keeping the conversation going and his hand on her back. "Do you listen to a lot of music?"

I smiled when He said he was the same. He didn't seem freaked out or anything.

' he doesn't think I'm wierd? If he doesn't he probably will as soon as I start sounding like a animal...' I sat up strait and open both of my eyes. I saw plants everywhere but could still tell apart what's real and what's not real. I start makeing simple sandwiches as I talk- I really hope that this stick is the butter knife Cause it feels like it- trying my best to not speak in riddles and gibberish.

" Um..i-I hear much bloops-ah. I mean dubstep..." I corrected myself cheeks burning red " the music is p-pretty good and cause it's mostly n-noises and bum-beats that m-many change it keeps my mind conce- focus....." I finish the sandwiches and pull the collar of my hoodie higher trying to hide the blushes from my embarrassment. 'God my whole face is warm' I look up at Xavier. 'You just HAD to leave your headphones in your room the same time you meet a cute boy. Great job zero!' I mentally scolded myself. I look away and accidentally mumbled " pretty as a crystal" I mentally face Palm myself 'GOD DAMNIT! Could this get any worse!?' The elves laugh " oh yes it will~!" They chant.

Hadley smiled at her, then got up and headed off into the bathroom. As he searched for the medication, he allowed Emma time to looked at his room - although he wasn't aware, nor would he mind, that she was doing so. His room was painted a deep, navy blue - rather dark, especially at this time of night - and the carpet was a light grey. There was a lamp on the night stand and a standing one beside the small, black, leather chair in the corner of the room. He always kept that light off unless he was reading, in which case he sat in that chair after he pulled one of his books from the small, wooden bookshelf he had there against the wall. Along the walls of his room there were posters for a few of his interests. There was one for his favorite band, Oingo Boingo. Then, there a few for some of his favorite films and books: A Clockwork Orange and To Kill A Mockingbird. There was even a Phantom of the Opera poster near his bookshelf. At this time, Hadley returned to Emma with a glass of water and a tablet of tylenol. "Here you go, Emma Rose." He smiled lovingly at her and handed the pill and water to her. "I hope this helps."

Xavier watched as Zero made the sandwich, thankfully grabbing the right side of the knife, then took one and started eating it, smiling a little as he listened to her talk. "I'm not much for dubstep, but I can listen to it a bit. And it's good if it helps you," he added before turning and pulling the brownies out of the oven two seconds before the timer buzzed. Instantly, the smell of chocolate flooded to kitchen and probably the rest of the house. Xavier glanced at Zero, hearing her mumble something he couldn't quite hear and shrugging it off. He cut the brownies and offered one to her. "I don't have any dubstep, but try a brownie." He smiled, then threw a quick scowl at Azeel, who had somehow made it into the kitchen and was sitting on the counter. "You probably poisoned them, I wouldn't eat one," the boy sneered, and Xavier swallowed nervously. "They're not poisoned, so don't worry," he said, just in case Zero could hear the annoying boy.

Zero had watched Xavier as he ate the sandwich and as he took out the brownies through her strange vision. He paused for a second to glare at nothing on the counter then proceeded to assure her that the brownies weren't poisoned as he offered her one. Zero softly chuckled and accepted what currently looked like a pink candy rock square but she knew that it was a brownie. A hot brownie but still a brownie "Poisoned? " She took a bite of it anyway " p-poisoned or not. This 's very tasty...." after zero had finished it she stood and went to the refrigerator that now looked like a stunted tree to take out the milk that she always drank. Ensure. She took out two of them. One for her and one for him. When she sat back down She quickly grabbed the table cause she missed her seat. Zero laughed it off when she properly sat and handed him His milk. " heh. Sorry. " zero took another brownie now cooled enough to be warm. After a moment she faces xavier " whoever is bothering you. Just ignore what they say Xavier. They'll eventually get bored-well some of them do anyway...." she stared at the elves who were taunting her as they danced on his shoulders. One of them mooned her. Zero slightly growled lowly but caught herself before she could bark, or hiss, or whatever sound she was gonna end up doing. She looked away As she mumbled "the elves dance night and day.....bloody elves...." she lost track of what they were talking about for a moment then remembered she looked back to Xavier "what You need to remember at times like this is that your the one in control. Not them"

Xavier smiled and ate a brownie himself, trying to say Thank You but failing as his mouth was full. Instead he smiled and took the milk, using it to wash down the brownie. He ended up chocking on it though, coughing and looking over at Zero as she surprised him. He didn't expect her to talk about it, but then again he had never actually met another person with schizophrenia. Ignoring Azeel as he starting saying something and Jack as he too somehow got into the kitchen, Xavier nodded and placed the milk on the counter. "I get that. And the same goes for you. You're in charge, so tell the elves to quit dancing and go to sleep. All that dancing is tiring on them and you." He smiled at Zero, plateing the rest of the brownies and eating another one himself.

Zero blushed "you herd that huh?" She chuckled for a moment then got quiet. Zero looked away from Xavier and out the window into the darkness of night. "....It's....not so easy for me to do that though..... For the most part I'm not sane and can't control my speech or actions at all. I either don't know I'm doing them or don't see anything wrong with it....." zero chuckled again only this time it has no humor behind it " most of my life.....has been a fight. I'm not allowed to say the specifics but whatever I see I have to think it's real. No matter how ridiculous it seems or terrifying....I usually end up getting hurt either way but at least I'm alive...." zero rubbed her shoulder the bruise on her knuckles a ugly blue green. "Though we have the same disorder our levels are completely different.....Tell me...right now. What do you see?"

Xavier listened as Zero talked, feeling sad for her. "Right now?" He questioned, looking around the kitchen. "I see the kitchen, cabinets and such, two boys fighting in the back," he nodded to where Jack and Azeel were, both of them yelling and throwing things at each other that Xavier couldn't make out. After watching them for a few seconds, he continued. "I see half of the room, half black, and a girl with pink hair." He looked down at her, a half hearted smile pulling up one corner of his mouth. "And your last statement is true. We may have the same name tags, but they're written in different fonts, if that makes sense. Still, if you need help or want to talk just come over to my room. Kay?" He smiled brightly, placing a hand on Zero's head and ruffling her hair a little.

zero closed her eyes for a moment enjoying the pat on the head as he did it the same way that her brothers usually do it.she nodded but in that small moment she forgot to hold her guard up. the fuzziness that she was holding back hit her at full strength and zero swayed a bit as her sanity went down the drain. there was a long moment of her sitting still with no movement what so ever. she immediately forgot the conversation that they were having and even the fact that she was in the same room with xavier. zero started to hum her usually serious face gave away to one of a relaxed child. she opened her eyes and looked around completely not noticing xavier as she observed her new surroundings. zero realised that she was in the food room. she leaned her head to the side as she ponders how she got here.zero was still humming.....

Xavier took a step back when Zero froze, figuring she was having an episode and giving her a little space. When she looked around, she looked calmer, more relaxed and her gaze past right over him as she hummed a song that Xavier had never heard before. Seeing her start to zone out, Xavier bent down a little to look her in the eye. "Hey Zero. Can you see me right now?" He honestly couldn't tell, her eyes looked a little glazed and if she was on a different level than him then she might not even be in the universe to her knowledge. "She's nuts," Azeel commented behind Xavier, smirking like the jerk he was. "Just like you!" He laughed out manically and Xavier glared at him before looking at Zero again, mentally telling the other boy to shut up before turning to Zero and smiling kindly, bending down to meet her gaze again.

zero had been observing the food room trying to figure out what she needed from here. her attention kept switching from random place to random place never settling on one thing for long with a dazed look upon her. there was a glowing flower....maybe a fairies home though it looked empty....she saw the fire flies playing tag. there were plants everywhere much to her liking. a thick stunted tree with vines hanging from it. kinda looks like a willow. a giant domino supported by tree hands sprouting from the ground............ it took her a while to realize something was blocking her view of the pretty scene. her eyes tried to focus on it but the thing was blurry.... fortunately for her it only lasted a few moments before it slowly cleared into focus. her humming slowed down to a stop as she observed what was in front of her.her head always leaning to the side when she observes, much like how a bird looks like when it looks at things...... a fairy was there....he was waaaaay bigger than all the other tiny fairies. he glowed and she could see his elegant wings from his back that were clipped so that he couldn't fly. she saw a crown on his head made of vines. his pale golden hair complimented his green eyes. zero leaned closer and realized that she could see the reflection of a whole forest in them. on his left eye was a daisy...... "daisy.....king of the fairies" she giggled as she realized that he must have been the king. she noticed the elves on his shoulders. zero hissed at them then shouted "stay away from the king!" they scrambled and zero gave a self satisfied giggle.

Xavier smiled at Zero and chuckled when he called him the king of the fairies. She hissed and yelled at something --or things-- that were on his shoulder. He made a disgusted face and brushed his shoulders off, then turned and smiled at Zero before bowing low. "Thank you for saving me from those elves, but I'm not the ruler of the fairies, only a prince I suppose," he said, standing up again and smiling again. "You're so nice. You, Lady Zero, must be the queen of the fairies then, right?" He glanced up briefly as Azeel made a comment about how Xavier was just as, if not more, nuts than the girl for willingly playing along. 'Im not gonna be mean to her,' he silently scolded the other, then turned back and smiled at Zero. "Queen Zero, will you care to show me around the forest?" He guessed they were in a forest in her mind, since there were fairies and elves. Smiling sheepishly, he added, "I'm somewhat new here and seem to be lost." 'Not a lie,' he told himself, realizing he wouldn't be able to find his room or anything else if his life depended on it.

she giggled when he thanked her for saving him from the fairies. finally someone who knew about the them! she was a little surprised when he said that he wasn't the king. only a prince. and was even more surprised when he assumed that she was the queen.zero blinked and straitened her head upright. "zero isn't the queen....shes the knight...." she clearly stated as she stared at him with the eyes of a curious child. zero tugged on her armor (which is her xxl black hoody) "see? zero has her armor all ready to go prince daisy!" she hopped of her mushroom and bowed to the prince "prince or king. it does not matter. lady knight zero is here as your hero" she chanted as she straightened up. "it is zeros duty to guide and aid the royals onto their paths. what is your destination prince daisy?"
