Also remember when they state an actual physical god has an automatic blanket 50% failure chance on literally all actions because the writer was unable to grasp the "what if god makes a boulder too heavy for him to lift" paradox and took it literally because he's a fucking idiot so even basic things like walking or making pancakes have a 50% chance of just going up in flames like an absolute retard but also it never explains how this applies and what constitutes an action

As someone who actually watches giant robot crap aside from Code Geass, TTGL, Eva and a Gundam or two, Code Geass is not even particularly good at the "robots doing cool shit" part and badly throws most of its interesting stuff out the window in favor of all robots magically developing flight and beamspam despite the majority of them being stuck on rollerblades and grappling wires like a year prior to that point. I'm not even gonna go into picking the plot and nonsensical character actions and interactions because we'd be here all night.

Kind of a leap between "minor graphics details" and "the ever so touted story is so forced and full of holes it falls apart on its own without even needing to nitpick it". I'm not insulting anyone, again I actually follow giant robot shows more than most, I love em, but that don't mean they're not what they are. It's okay to like something and be able to admit it's childish or even just bad.

Also fun fact, the maid being a ninja was a meme started by japanese fans because she was so obviously competent and had a penchant for showing up out of nowhere. The people behind the show ran with it.

Part of me wants that so bad, but I can't help but think the amazing levels of stupid would get toned down. Like what if they replace the Star Wars reveal with something more serious?

Aloha Loha I liked the guy who worked under a scumbag boss but then he turned out to be a scumbag boss in training too it was arguably the closest thing the show had to a happy ending
