Red Zone

Nanautzin floated through space his body already contorting and changing from the darkness in his soul. He hadn't eaten enough souls to prompt a full transformation, but neither could he conceal his darkness any longer. He wished he had killed Ortrov when he had the chance. If it wasn't for him Nanautzin wouldn't be having this difficulty. Not wanting to be attacked any longer Nanautzin his among the debris to gather himself. Trying to suppress the changed with no success.

Acantha got into the ship and pulled all the nesscessary elements in with her. "Well this is a interesting day!" She cheerfully skipped toward the cock pit and typed a few things into the console. "When we have to do a mission report let me handle the talking" she winked at the two still shocked at the captains death. Acantha hummed a calming tune as she typed more stuff into the console as the ship veered its way to the Grand Fleet.

Paneaux Glass

(Crystal Knight)

Paneuax stood in an underground lake, surrounded by glowing crystals. The ceiling looked like a night sky full of stars, and Paneaux thought it was a better view than one you could get outside. The shallow lake was glowing with the crystal beneath it, giving the entire cave a light blue tint. Out of all of the subterranean places he had been, this was his favorite. He came here to relax often, not that there was much out there causing him stress. His life was a simple one. Paneuax lived underneath a large and densely populated mortal city. It was a foul place where the miasma of mortal greed and ill intentions sat across the city like a dense fog. Not that the mortals noticed it, of course. There was nothing he could do as he was. One day in the city he had sensed combat among the stars between powerful beings. They were probably Immortals like himself. Paneaux could not convince himself to go to them, especially in that time of conflict. He had a feeling it would not end well. After it had dispersed, Paneaux went back to his home underground.

Paneaux had been debating over these last few days if he should go seek out the other Immortals. Finally, here and now, it came to his attention that they may be able to help him fulfill his dreams. Working with those Immortals may help the Universe become a better place. So, with this in mind, he left his home for the final time and took to the stars. His destination was the Grand Fleet (*Destroyed space station?), where he would meet with some of the warriors there and seek assistance in finding the other Immortals. It only took a few hours of travel before he reached his destination. He went to the largest ship (*Space Station?) and stopped in front of it to bow. He then held a hand over his heart and raised his left hand skyward to represent his coming in peace.

@Whoever I don't even know how to get into it at this point.

Valoran

After saving another life, Valoran decided it was time to take a new step. Meet other Immortals in hope to forge some alliances against the people who would try to harm them. Even if Valoran was considered a hero by some people, his soul was still young and he had little knowledge of the world. But he knew the Immortals were a mystery, unknown, and he would follow his goal until the very end of his existence.

By using his energy and his legs, Valoran could jump out from the planet where he was with a smirk. As he waved his hand at a young boy before reaching outer space. The young boy smiled and yelled as the body of Valoran faded away into the sky "I believe in you!" he shouted.

After a short time, Valoran look around and sighed "Back to this mysterious place..." he whispered as he looked around "I have no time to waste, I sense someone similar to me." Valoran use his energy to fly trough the space. He didn't use his flying power too much,Valoran was scared to use too much energy by doing that. But after all, it was maybe the first time of his existence that Valoran will meet another Immortal. Or will it be just a feint? Looking deeply into the space, he notice a space station in ruin. Flying into it, a man with golden hair was there. Valoran landed on the ground in front of him softly, before bowing at him with no sign of hostility "Mister, are you an Immortal? I'm on a quest to find other immortals in hope to forge some link and discover more about our race."

Alex opened his eyes when he sensed someone coming towards him. The others had already left, but he'd remained here. it hadn't really been his choice of course. He could barely move after his long drawn out battle with Salegg. His soul had taken a while to repair and his energy even longer. He'd only recently finished gathering his energy back to it's original levels. However, his energy capacity had grown beyond it's original level. It was interesting and extremely difficult to restore.

He flexed his fingers slightly as he looked at the Immortal that had arrived before him "Indeed I am an Immortal, however, this place is not safe" he said softly as black spheres of energy appeared around himself, lifting him into the air "We should leave this place and find a secluded area to talk" frankly, he wanted to be many many light years away from this place.

Salegg had been powerful, but Alex was very sure that there were far stronger ones in this Grand Fleet of theirs. He certainly couldn't expose this young Immortal to that. He needed to gather stronger Immortals if he was to hold any sway on getting this Grand Fleet to leave this region of space.

Valoran

Valoran look around one last time before turning back toward the guy. It seems like his power was far beyond the capabilities of a normal human, it was certainly an Immortal.

"Why is this place not safe?" Valoran asked him, before flying at his side slowly, looking at the place "Is it true that Immortals are wanted dead by some people? Where will we go?" Valoran was confident and open to this guy, he could sense that he was not a threat at all.

"Immortals are wanted dead by a few groups, but this one is quite powerful" he said as they flew "There is a planet I know of quite a distance away, and at most, it will take years before the Grand Fleet can completely take over this region of space, at most, they will send a single ship here" he shook his head "We will be long gone by then...however, we as Immortals need to set up a base of our own" he frowned. Immortals were free beings, they weren't completely willing to listen to others.

The Grand Fleet had a clear hierarchy and that gave them a greater advantage. They were organized, Immortals in the Red Zone were not.

@NickTonCutter

The most annoying part of being thrown out of a moving spaceship had to be the migraine that came after. Acantha had left her on some random planet, Camira remebered with an annoyed sigh. Just when she was about to learn something about where the woman had come from, the mysterious "Grand Fleet", she was gone. Sitting in a crouch position, she was grateful that at least she'd gotten away from the Mortals on this new planet. She didn't want or need them following her right now. From her position, Cam could still sense Immortals (and more sinister energies) spread all around nearby, but two felt particularly close. Floating up above the planet, Camira could make out two figures in the distance. Someone she didn't know and... wasn't that one of the Immortals from earlier? It was all a blur of chaos, but last time she'd seen that guy he'd been in a pretty intense battle (and debating about God). As the pair got closer to her vicinity Cam shouted over to them.

"Hey, um, Gravity guy!" Camira exclaimed. "Are you one of the Immortals from the arena? What happened to the water Immortal?"

It wasn't the best plan and there was a chance they wouldn't even hear her. But given her current situation, it was all she had.

@Seraph Darkfire @NickTonCutter

He paused in his flight and turned, hearing a voice projected at him. What he saw was a young white haired girl. If it wasn't for the fact that she was flying out here with the two of them, he would have mistaken her for a Mortal Child. He hadn't realized that an Immortal could look so young. He floated closer to her and cocked his head "I wasn't in the arena battles, but I was there observing and as for the Water Immortal....he is gone" he said calmly, not mentioning that he'd killed him.

This girl's energy was quite weak for an Immortal, he wondered how old she was truly. Immortals naturally grew stronger over time, but some trained and others lived simple lives, so their strength was always different.

Valoran

Valoran wanted to ask a question, up until the other immortal flew away in the direction of another being that also seems to be an immortal. Valoran scratch the back of his head before following the two "Excuse me but...What is the Grand Fleet? Are they planning to control the universe?" he asked them, not having any knowledge about them since he had never interacted with anyone out of the Red Zone.

Nanautzin had been listening to the conversation as he rested, trying to gather his energy and courage to join in. He may not be a demon yet, but with the amount of darkness in his soul and his body already beginning to change he thought it didn't matter, but what they were talking about would not only affect him, but all immortals. Coming out from his hiding spot Nanautzin approached the group, " This grand fleet seems to want to rid all of the universe of anything immortal."

@Sagittarius @Seraph Darkfire @NickTonCutter

"Get rid of Immortals..?" Camira thought aloud to herself. She'd been somewhat startled by the presence of yet another Immortal, but he'd confirmed her suspicions about the Grand Fleet. If that were the case, then they probably already had plans to come back to the area. There were too many Immortals here for the Fleet to just let them go.

"This... This isn't good," Cam started, briefly looking up at the other Immortals. "I was on one of their ships a while ago and from what I could see, it looked like they had a way to track Immortals. It was an older model, so I don't know if that's a feature that all ships have or if its exclusive to that one but..." She shook her head. Maybe they'd left it on the planet where the Immortal Games took place. Either way, if that was a feature all Grand Fleet ships had, they might be screwed.

@Seraph Darkfire @SleepyBuddha @NickTonCutter

"Nanautzin" Alex said when the Immortal come Demon appeared. He was wary but a smile still appeared on his face "Glad to see you aren't dead, we need stronger allies if we are going to defend against the Grand Fleet" he scratched his head "From what I've gathered they don't just kill Immortals, though that does seem to be their main objective, they also scour planets for resources to expand the fleet" he sighed.

He looked thoughtful as he looked at Cam "If we can get that ship or take over any other ship...it is possible that we can use the Grand Fleet's technology against them, even if it is only to hide from their sensors" he really didn't like the Grand Fleet. He'd been so carefree before, now he had to worry about a whole bunch of things.

"If my understanding of the map was correct, I think it's possible. There's a chance we could even find other Immortals to... warn or something I guess." Camira said. "But how could we take one of their ships? A break in?" If they did that, it would be four Immortals against thousands. Cam wasn't sure how well they could fend against that, not to mention all of them going in together would be too obvious of a disturbance. But if they went in pairs... there was a small chance they could sneak in unnoticed.

Alvis Bo

(Air Immortal)

Something had been unsettling the old Immortal's heart. Whispering of a threat coming to the peaceful region in which she rested came to alight on her ears. More specifically a threat to her own kind. This disturbing news had probed her to seek out more information, so Alvis had taken flight, set on a populous place where many were settled, immortal and not. Her eyes caught onto the shining point and raced for it, curious if she was to find answers.

The air immortal settled slightly on the ground her ears open to vulnerable conversations. As she walked among the beings that were there, all she heard was repetitive conversations, the same fear of the unknown. Until an interesting statement nested in her ear.

"...possible that we can use the Grand Fleet's technology against them, even if it is to only hide from their sensors."

Curiosity peaked, Alvis wandered over to a small group gathered, her senses tingling. Her veins were flowing with excitement, at the thought of discovering what the rumors were all about. Although her exterior was as calm as ever, her eyes holding the only spark of interest as she reached the group. It had been a while since her last interaction with other beings, face to face.

"Excuse me."

She spoke softly, bowing her head down slightly, as she enjoys this way of portraying respect. It came to her mind that they might not accept her and let her listen, but she could always find another way to find out.

(I hope I am not barging in  on something I can't)

(Your fine, Welcome!)

Nanautzin quietly listened to the group as he wrestled to gain back control of his mind. The plan was simple enough, but one Nanautzin wasn't sure he could help with given his current almost ravenous state. It was taking every bit of will power in the ancient immortal not to attack the immortals he has come to know as companions and eat their souls. His body was on the very edge of transformation. He could feel it, just a few more souls and his body would reach equilibrium, and he was sure his body showed just how far he had fallen. All he could hear was a voice in his head telling him to kill, to consume the souls of those around him and become whole. The words of his companions were muffled compared to it, but if he concentrated he could still participate in the strategy making.

"Those immortals from the grand fleet are usually inferior to immortals such as us until they achieve that armored form. From what I gathered in my fights, though given my current state this may not be applicable to everyone, the officers I fought had strength very close to a true immortals but there was a small gap. They make up for that gap with military training and a conservative fighting style. Though I doubt all people of the grand fleet are immortals I wager a fair amount of them are. " Nanautzin stopped for a moment grasping his head as he pulled his energy, now clearly corrupted by darkness into himself. " As for stealing a ship they seem very militant. So they will be specific protocols we have to take into account if we are to blend in. Of course I have an idea that may help us get a foot in the door..... Contact the Grand Fleet directly and offer me up as a bargaining chip for joining. Once inside we take it down from within like a virus. We target and shut down their ability to fight back. " As Nanautzin explained his plan he noticed the smell of another immortal joining them. It smelled like a soft ocean breeze, calm at one moment with the potential to change any minute. Wait smelled? Nanautzin lamented inside as he smiled to the girl and returned the gesture. He was truly lost at this point.

@Whale @Seraph Darkfire @NickTonCutter @Sagittarius @Splat

"Even if we turn you in, we're all still Immortals. It might take a lot for us to fully earn their trust." Cam started. "As the... least threatening member of the group, I volunteer to be the negotiator. I think you could say I'm objectively the weakest, so they might be quicker to believe me. I'm younger and more easily manipulated by their standards, I'm assuming, so there's a chance I won't die?"

Now pacing, Camira was still wondering about the details of their plan. Given how off Nanautzin's energy felt, she hoped that would lead the Grand Fleet to believe them. But how long would it take to obtain a ship? Surprised by the presence of someone else, Cam was brought out of her thoughts.

"Oh, hello," Cam said. With a small wave, she greeted the new Immortal. Had she heard their conversation?

Valoran

Noticing the amount of Immortals all coming over, Valoran felt rather pleased and satisfied. Valoran looked at the newcomers and bowed to them, before listening to their plans. The grand fleet was apparently tracking the immortals with some devices, and that they were many in number. 6 immortals against them in a front line battle? Impossible. The only way to counter them was to think intelligently, and the plan given by Nanautzin seemed to be the best to follow. Not really sure how to say it, Valoran decided atleast to give his advice even if it was maybe not so great. "Maybe some humans could help us to infiltrate the ship with your plans? Because if they caught us...I'm sure they will not hesitate to finish us."

Alex looked thoughtful "The ship isn't important for it's mobility, what we need is the technology they possess" he scratched his chin "An infiltration mission would take time, it'd be far easier to find one of those scout ships and snatch it out of the sky with my gravity" however, Alex had no idea where a scout ship would be "I'd rather not get any where close to the Grand Fleet until we have a better understanding of their technology and their Immortals" he sighed. If they could understand the abilities and skills of the Grand Fleet, they could plan accordingly.

He looked at Nanautzin "As for turning you in, I don't think that is a good idea, they'll simply kill you as quickly as they can, or even worse, they'll attack us without listening to what we have to say"

He frowned "We need more information, as well as to strengthen our weaker members" he also wanted to get to know everyone a little better. Currently, they were all just together because of circumstance. He had no idea of their abilities in battle nor did he know just how well they would do in a fight.

"Ultimately, we need to decide where we are going to hide out first" they needed a base of operations.

@Sagittarius @Whale @NickTonCutter @SleepyBuddha @Splat

"You are all welcome to hide out on my world. I had the Parn repair one scout ship so they should have a good understanding of the technology involved." Nanautzin offered. "They may even be able to replicate a scout ship given enough time. " Nanautzin  needed to hibernate and since it seemed like this was going to take a bit he wasn't about to endure this torture for no reason.

Alvis Bo

Their conversation melted into her eager ears, hoping a part would assist in answering her questions. So far, none had informed her of what the Grand Fleet was,  or where it was, or answered any of her questions. The tones that came from their voices, stress, nerves, excitement, and even some fear answered the biggest questions of all. Are they a threat? Alvis quickly learned that to these other immortals, the Grand Fleet was a great danger to their kind. Pushing her greed for answers aside, the Air immortal decided to invest herself in the conversations. Towards a bigger and better plan. If she could not answer her own questions why not answer theirs?

"I conquer, we will need their technology." She declared in a calm manner.  "and training up those with lesser experience, could add to our power stance. I have an open planet, compliment for training, if you wish to use it. Although it does have no technology."

Alvis felt her throat ache slightly, and her tongue strained. For words had been left silent in this immortals mouth. Speaking had come to her body as an unexpected challenge. But as it gave her no pain, the unpredictable immortal awaited reactions from the others around her. She knew she did not apply much, but at least that statement engraved her in the conversation.

Paneaux Glass

(Crystal Knight)

Sensing the Immortals inside, Paneaux approached slowly. Weaving through the wreckage, he came upon the group of Immortals gathered together, interrupting their conversation. Once they realize he is there, he holds his right hand over his heart and his left out to the side of his body, palm facing them. "I come in peace and curiosity, friends." Paneaux lowered into their circle and took a knee, his head bowed down in respect of the other Immortals around him. "Please forgive my interruption. I was curious as to whom I might find, following the odd gathering of Immortal Auras through the cosmos. My name is Paneaux Glass, though I am referred to on my planet as the Crystal Knight."

The whole time he spoke into the ground, his head hanging while waiting for permission to stand. These were the customs of his planet, though the other Immortals would probably think them to be old fashioned and unnecessary.

"I guess you guys are right..." Cam said. "Wherever we're going though, we should leave quickly. Not only are we more obvious as a group, but they already know our general location. I haven't been around for very long, so I definitely need to train whatever the plan."

Not to mention she hadn't actually used her abilities before- runaway static would sometimes spark from her hands but that was it. If she wanted to be of any assistance, she knew she needed to train. And she wanted to get a better idea of the Immortals who'd gathered. Like she'd said before, Camira was (physically and literally) one of the youngest, so she still wanted to know more about the world around her.

"Either way, I'm Camira Pandyre. I sort of forgot to introduce myself initially." Cam stated, with a small laugh.

@Seraph Darkfire @SleepyBuddha @Whale @Splat @NickTonCutter

Nanautzin looked to the Immortal kneeling before the group as he introduced himself. " Well met Paneaux, rise so that we may include you in our discussion." Nanautzin said gesturing upward. " Camira makes a wonderful point. For now let us go to my home world to hide and train. I'll have the Parn focus on understanding and looking for Grand Fleet technology so we will at least have some advance warning. " Nanautzin said addressing the whole group before going ahead and making his way back to his planet.  It seemed like everyone was busy talking about what to do rather than actually doing it so he would take the opportunity to get things moving.

Alvis Bo

The faint trace of a satisfied smile lingered on her lips, while her attention flitted from one Immortal to the other. They seemed to have good intentions on their heart, no matter how much self preservation was involved. A new presence caught her gaze, while the strange speech intrigued her ears. This immortal seemed, in a way, very formal. It was a quality she admired in many. Although friendly bluntness was always welcome as well. The air immortal saw him lingering in his lowered position and smiled.Another immortal had introduced herself as Camira. Camira was young, and fresh into the universe. Alvis was unsure whether to be in joy, or in heart break at the state the Universe was in when the young immortal had arrived.

Her heart was in confusion as she tried to place her feelings, when another immortal offered for them to stay on his planet. Alvis had never been invited to a planet of another immortal. But maybe it would provide for more answers about the upcoming danger.

"That is a very generous offer. I may leave to train on my own planet, but I will assist in any way I can." Alvis admitted, and dipped her head in gratitude. Maybe she could aid the young immortal in her training. And most definitely could the air immortal help in strategy. But listing her talents to the other immortals could wait.
