No, Can't afford one. I used one last year at a friends house but I kept getting frustrated over the fact my hand had to hover over the tablet.

I'm sure you Could! It's not that hard. I'm at the point where I can see something and draw it without a reference, but I started off looking at pictures and drawing what I saw. Try it, it's rather helpful.

I don't think we are talkin' about the same kinds of tablet there x) A Graphic one usually has a pen. It's like drawing on paper after a while, you get used to it fairly quickly. They're about 50-200 euros.

Yeah. I got a similar one. I know it's super fucky when you first use it, but when you eventually get it it's pretty awesome.


They're not that expensive, either. Took me two weekends of jobbing. Or maybe I was paid good.

That is a graphic tablet,we have bought one for 750 Turkish Liras or something for a comic project.I write the story and my Friend draws it.

Holy crap, that's super expensive. I got mine for half the price.

Yeah, I googled. I got mine for about 100, they go down as far as 50 if you look in the right places.

I have paper... I like paper. I do a lot of painting though, so I don't really need a tablet

I want to get into painting with water colours.

I usually use more paper than tablet (drawing in class, wink wink). I feel ya. Water colours can look super nice if done right but I don't have the motivation to start. I ought to learn how to draw properly before I even try that.

Paper is better anywayI favor it aswell much more easy to draw,we just had to buy it because the Friend I metioned despises pencils for a reason,a quirk I guess

Oh I suck at drawing, well certain things. Stuff like that turtle. No problem. Tell me to draw an actual live person. Nuh uh. Nope sorry. I suck at drawing people.


I really like surrealism or abstract. I love impressionistic art though.

Well, I'm a people person I can only draw people, ask me to draw anything else and I will do it with incredible reluctance and my tree will look like it just underwent amputation.


I love pencils and tablets both :0 I recently got an actual Windows tablet though, so I just got Photoshop and stopped used my graphics one. It's like with pen and paper, just more comfortable!
