Congenial Organism hey soo i had a thought, about a bond to one of yalls characters, i was thinking it would be fun and funny if our characters were like ex lovers? you know that kind of ex's that never really go away for some reason but always helps each other yet are kinda bitter and quarrel like they are still together. get what im saying?

Grimsvald there's only one archetype for rangers in the PHB, are you sure I can't use UA? Maybe you can look at some homebrews and see what you're okay with?

The player handbook has Archetypes of Beastmaster and Hunter. Published, but not UA books offer a few more options too. Xanathar offers Horizon walker, Monster Slayer and Gloom Stalker. Check those out before you look to UA.

so i dont know if you know but for hp when u level up you take the "avg" of your hit die which is 6, plus your con mod; or you roll 1 hit die (1d10 for you) and add your con mod

I have the darkvision from my ranger archetype (giving me the Umbra Vision feature) and I've only ever had DMs have the starting HP be max, so I figured it's the norm.

Usually you roll when you level up, and considering I'm starting at level 3, I'm not really leveling up twice.
