Galatea shrugged as she and Tanaka walked easily forward from the inner room of the temple to where the others were congregating. "There's not much in there," she said in response to the suggestion, "and it's colder with all of that ice."
"Tanaka and I will forage out for some firewood," she said. "Why don't the rest of you find as comfortable of a spot as you're able and we'll be back soon."
Galatea headed toward the temple entrance which was being bathed in the late-day sun. It has to be warmer in the sun, she thought. Come tomorrow, we're heading back south and out of this cursed snow.
