Fantasy Reaper 3: Final March

"My little Asilia...... She is so big now...... Five years old..... My my. And Yulier.... Your hurt.... How has this happend?"

Yulier looked up at Aura, shaking. Not from fear, but from the cold and the amount of difficulty she was having staying standing on her feet. She wanted to tell him, but she couldn't get her voice out of her throat.

Aura picked Yulier up bridal style and caried her as Asilia followed by his side. "Where is the new bace?"

Yulier stared up at him, relaxing her muscles now. She was lighter than you'd expect, as she hadn't been eating much. She weakly pointed in the direction of the base. She curled up a bit, resting her head on his chest. He was warm. When was the last time she felt warmth like this?

Espen stopped suddenly. It had stopped. She felt a pang of fear and leaned against the tree, her heart pounding.

Caspian heard a noise not far away and limped towards it, the only noise being his shoes against the leaves.

"It's run down.... This is no proper bace." Aura said, as he walked inside, Asilia clinging to his leg.

Yulier saw a bloodied Revnoir and Kirsa beside him. She silently wondered how he had gotten that way, but at this point she didn't have the energy to do so verbally or physically. She simply clung to Aura, enjoying his warmth. "It's... All we have..." She whispered, barely staying awake.

Espen felt someone getting closer. He wasn't awfully large, and by his footsteps he had a limp, an injury to his left leg. Even so, he likely had a weapon, being out here.

Caspian saw a girl. Her eyes were open but focused on nothing in particular. They were an impossible color blue. She stood quietly yet seemed to know he was there, despite her distant and spacey appearance.

Run, mein mous! Kirsa twitched in her sleep, the nightmare enveloping her whole consciousness. Her head was then filled with a horrific image. A large Reaper held her father's body, ripped into two. Blood poured from the guts of the man, staining the cream carpet. A woman laid in the distance, half of her body had been eaten but her eyes stared directly at the girl who hid within the closed closet. The young girl trembled. Papan! Maman! She cried out to the bodies, but it was no use. The two had disappeared from the earth, leaving empty shells as an imprinted memory of their murder.

Moments later, Kirsa blinked awake. She was sweating and panting heavily. The hand which held Revnoir's squeezed his hand so tightly, her nails dug into his skin and drew blood. Easing her grip, she buried her face in the comfort of Revnoir's chest. Kirsa trembled violently from the nightmare.

"It's okay.... Tell me how you got hurt... And how bad your injuries are." Aura said speaking softly.

Espen didn't speak. It broke her fragile vision with her own soundwaves. Instead she focused her eyes on what she assumed was the stranger, to let him know he was acknowledged.

Caspian cleared his throat before saying quietly, "Why are you so far from base?"

Revnoir moved out of pure instinct to hold Kirsa closer, still asleep.

Revnoir, what about Mom?!

She's not coming back, forget about it!

I knew very well the situation. Those... Those things had been released and everyone would die. Everyone. Those creatures would kill them.

Revnoir..! I hear them, please, we have to help them!

No, Enma! They're gone! If we go back, then so are we!

Revnoir!

I was silent. I simply tightened my grip on her wrist and walked faster. I didn't look back.

She ripped her arm away, and before I could grab her again, a black figure flashed past the corner of my eye.

Blood splattered everywhere. Her blond hair trailed behind her as she hit the ground, blood pooling around her.

Revnoir jolted awake, this time not quite as bad as the first time with Kirsa. He simply held Kirsa tighter and buried his nose in her hair.

Yulier shivered a bit. "A Reaper... I wasn't careful..." She lied.

Without warning, her maniacal laugh escaped her lips. Her hands shooting up and grabbing Revnoir's neck tightly, the nails digging into his skin. "HAHAHA. You won't get me.. Lover boy!! Kirsa will never.. EVER be happy." Kirsa screeched, straddling Revnoir's lap. Normally this position would lead to, you know what. However it was not erotic in any way, she had moved closer to him as Kirsa was attempting to strangle him. "Get ready to die.~" Her hand slowly moved to the holster of her gun.

"I... Aura, it's fine, it won't happen again, so..." She murmured, burying her face in his shirt. "Really... I should be worrying about you." She reached up and felt the beard for a short moment. It was strange.

"Just... Nothing. I should be asking you that, Caspian," Espen said. She shook her head and took a few steps toward him.

Caspian was a bit surprised that she knew his name. He saw her around every once in a while, but she was always almost silent. "I was just looking. I needed to get out of there."

Revnoir quickly jumped. Having been just woken up from a nightmare, he was extremely on edge and jumpy. He quickly went to get away from her, but from the position they were in right then kept him from moving too much. "Kirsa..! Hey, What're you..?!" He was panicking and Yulier could only watch.

She lifted her head, staring at him with her beady eyes as she showed him a murderous grin. Kirsa began to cackle maliciously, her laughter resonating through the building. Swiftly yanking her pistol out, she pressed it on his forehead. "Say bye bye.~" She said. Kirsa had gone berserk. The nightmare was too much for her too handle.

"I know what you mean," Espen sighed. There was a period of silence before she added, "But hey, we can go back to base and it'll all be okay. I'm sure..."

Caspian nodded silently. It felt tense and awkward. Finally he sighed and replied quickly, "Yeah. Yeah, I guess so. C'mon."

Aura's threads shot out and grabbed kirsa and threw her a few yards away into a wall, causing it to crumble. "Now.... Tell me already..."

He laughed nervously, raising his hands beside his head in an action of surrender. Welp, that's our Aura. He quickly went over to make sure she hadn't taken too much damage. "Hey..." He spoke softly, thinking maybe he could calm her down.

Yulier watched with wide eyes. Her shaking was no longer because of the cold. She quickly shook her head. "I'm fine..!"

Espen walked back to the base. She heard something. Something big was happening.

Caspian hurried after Espen. Her pace was quicker now, as if she was worried.

"No your not.... If you tell me what happend I can get medical attention for you.... Please Yulier.... Let me help you..." Aura said.

Blood dripped from her head as she sat up, blood running from her mouth as well. Kirsa looked completely stunned and confused as to why she was flung. Upon looking at Revnoir, she broke into tears. "I.. It happened again.. I.. I hurt you.. " She put her face in her hands, sobbing. Revnoir was the last person she wanted to harm. Her split personality will eventually kill him. She can't.. be with him. Kirsa wailed even more at the idea. She didn't want to be away from him. She.. She loved him!

Yulier was shaking violently now. She had tears streaming down her face. "I... I-I....!! It was..! I... I... It..." She eventually got to say it properly. "I did it..!"

Revnoir smiled, pulling her into a hug. "Don't worry, you didn't hurt me. Trust me, I'm fine. The worry should be for you, Kirsa, are you alright?" He started obsessing over her injuries. He didn't dare glare at Aura, he was different now. He was scared of Aura now.
