Eddie gave a heavy sigh and kissed the top of her head as she started to fall asleep. He smiled some when he his phone light up with Lita's name seeing she was asking how they were doing. He had grown quite close to her in his time at the hospital and now he honestly felt like she was his close friend as well now.

Max gave a soft frown but nodded some "Oh. Well alright then, just let me know how that goes." She said before giving him a small smile and squeezing him gently.

He nodded. “I just… I wanna do what’s gonna be best for us. For Grace.” He told her.

Carmen woke up only a couple hours later, sweating bullets and seeing the world was spinning, struggling to sit up without wanting to puke, “Eddie? Eddie?!” She just felt completely disoriented and it was getting hard to breathe but she couldn’t see or hear him nearby.

Max nodded and sighed heavily as she got Grace buckled into her carseat "Well lets hope whatever Matt's offer is, its going to be just that." She murmured

Eddie rushed into the room when he heard Carmen yelling. He had gotten up to go to the bathroom and she had looked fine then. He frowned deeply though seeing her covered in sweat "Hey, hey, hey I'm here love. Come on, we gotta go to the hospital." He said calmly as he did his best to try and get her up.

She shook her head quickly when she could hardly move. “I can’t… I can’t breathe Ed.” She told him quickly, already starting to pass out

He nodded, waiting til she was in the front before heading out to lunch. “She been a good girl this morning?” He asked her.

Eddie went wide eyed and got her back on the couch before calling for an ambulance. "Hello?! My girlfriend is pregnant and has just passed out, she's got a fever, and her breathing is really bad...send someone quickly!" He said down the line before giving his address.

Max nodded giving a small smile "Yeah she has been. A little cranky this morning, but other than that she's been having fun." She said happily

Jess frowned as her phone went off, seeing eddies number, “hey, if this is to ask me to work the answer is no, my mom is away so I’m the only one here to watch the boys.” She told him. “Ed… you okay?”

He nodded and smiled as she started yawning in her car seat. “Sleepy little one. She’s looking more and more like you every day. Aren’t you glad you came back to town?” He smiled, taking her hand while he drove.

Eddie called Jess not knowing who else could really help him right now "Jess...Carmen...somethimg is wrong they're taking her to the her to the hospital. God she almost stopped breathing." He told her taking ragged breathes as he tried to stay calm.

Max smiled happily and nodded giving his hand a squeeze "Oh I am very happy that I came back. I got a family out of it." She said kissing his hand as well.

He nodded and chewed on his lip for a minute. “It might be a bit late but I told you so. You said you weren’t ever coming back here and there was nothing for you here…. Turns out I was right.” He teased her.

She sat up on the couch quickly and frowned. “Oh Ed honey… let me call Drew and see if one of the boys can go down with you. You need me to call anyone else?” She asked him. “Careful Ed you gotta still take it easy alright?”

Max rolled her eyes and smacked his arm playfully "Yeah yeah yeah." She said giving a small laugh "Do you have a job to run tonight?"

Eddie nodded some "Uh Lita, give her a heads up." He said softly before grabbing his things "God Jess what if I loose them?"

He nodded and frowned “It’s why I’ve left the bike there. Prospects tuning them all up for the run. Don’t know how long it’ll be. I’ll call when I can alright?” He promised.

“Eddie breathe. Slow down. They need you calm and level headed right now okay? Let me hang up and get maybe Alex to come down and meet you there okay? Breathe. They’re still alright now.” She reminded him, finally able to hang up and called around until she managed to get ahold of Alex to go down to be there with Eddie. She was furious witj the club at the minute and how they’d handled Eddie being shot so the least they could do was be there for him now

Max frowned some and gave a small sigh "Alright, please be careful okay?" She murmured some feeling something was wrong but she couldn't figure it out.

Eddie got to the hospital with Alex around 30 minutes later. He got to the nurses stand as fast as he could "Carmen Sanchez, where is she?"

He gave her a salute as he pulled into the restaurant parking lot, “yes ma’am.” By the time he needed to get on the run he’d driven them back to the club and had cuddles with Grace for a few minutes before finally handing her back over. “Be good. Both of you. And I’ll call when I’m on my way home.” He promised, kissing max gently. “Don’t wait up if you need the rest okay?”

They had him wait for a while before anyone could give him any information, eventually someone coming out to talk to him almost theee hours later. “Mr Munson? If you come with me we can discuss what’s going on.” Hee doctor took him to a private room before passing him some papers to look over. “Just a couple documents for you to read over and sign for your daughter. She’s early but she’s doing okay. I can take you to go see her in a minute. Miss Sanchez isn’t doing as well right now. Pulmonary embolism. She’s in the icu for now but with a little luck we can get her out of there by tomorrow afternoon. Once you’ve seen your daughter it should be time that you can go see her.” He told him.

Max frowned deeply but nodded and hugged him tightly "You be careful okay? I love you." She murmured before kissing him lovingly. As he went off she made her way home hoping this bad feeling she had would disappear.

Eddie took a shaky breath "Wait....she...they have to deliver our daughter?" He asked as he looked over the paperwork. He signed everything quickly. "Do you know what caused the embolism? Was it anything that could have been prevented?"

He shook his head and put everything back in the file to get back to records and stood again. “If you’re asking did you do what you could the answer is yes. She’s in good hands mr. Munson. Let’s get you down to see your little one.” He led him down there with Alex keeping just a few steps behind for support, taking Eddie into a room and over to the incubator with their daughter in. “Have you chosen a name yet?”

He headed out with the others, sighing a little. He was still so torn as to whether or not he wanted to leave the club. On the one hand it was all he’d ever known and they were his family. On the other he wanted a good life for Grace and he was worried that him being in the club wouldn’t be great for her.

Eddie took a shaky breath and sat beside the incubator "She is so tiny...." he whispered taking letting a few tears fall "Lilah, we liked the name Lilah." He said softly placing his hand on the incubator.

Max woke up to her phone ringing at 2 in the morning and frowned deeply "Hello? Drew? Whats wrong?" She asked in a groggy voice.

Drew stood back from the carnage, shaking, and taking it all in as he had dialled max on autopilot and now she’d answered he wasn’t sure what to say. “Max its… it’s Jon.. he… you need to get down to county general. Now.” He told her. “It all happened so fast. I didn’t know.” He mumbled, this time more to himself.

They left him to privacy for a little while after that. Even Alex wasn’t getting too close. He didn’t want to be one of the first people to meet their daughter before even Carmen. “Hey, I’m gonna get going Ed, there’s been a problem at the club but you call Jess again if you need anything alright? Congrats man.” He told him, passing a nurse who was coming to collect Eddie to take him down to see Carmen after that

Max woke up when she heard Jon's name and immediately got up. She rushed to get ready grabbing Grace as well and rushing down to the hospital. As she got to there she saw the ambulance pull up and Jon being rolled out covered in blood and bruising looking like he had been hit by a car. She ran inside as they did pointing at them when she got to the nurses station "I need all updates on that man, he's my partner." She explained quickly

Eddie stayed with Lilah as long as he could before having to go. He thanked Alex as he left and followed the nurse to Carmen's room "I know its a long shot but have there been any changes in her condition while I've been here?" He asked quietly

She nodded and smiled. “She is awake. We have told her about your daughter but we just need to keep her in the icu a couple days so she’s under strict watch I. Case of any complications.” She explained to him, having him sanitise his hands before letting him into the room with her.

Carmen was laying there staring at the walls until she heard his voice, trying to reach for him. “Is she okay?” She managed to hoarse our.

The nurse shook her head. “Ma’am if you are on his emergency contact I can give it to you but if not I’m afraid I’d be violating personal information laws to tell you everything. So give me a little time and I will let you know what I can when I can.” She promised

Eddie thanked the nurse before walking into the room. He gave her a small smile and immediately went to her side "Hey there....she's beautiful, tiny, but beautiful." He whispered before showing her a photo he had taken "I uh...I went with Lilah, is that okay?"

Max took a deep breath to calm herself and nodded "Thank you, here is my information." She said softly letting the nurse look at her ID before going to sit down. It was another hour before she was even called back to the nurses station to be told what exactly happened to Jon.

She frowned and watched him a little after staring at the photo as long as she could. “Ed… you okay?” She asked, seeing just how deer in the headlights he was looking. Even in her current state she could tell how she’ll shocked he was.

“I got you as his emergency contact so we can keep you up to date hon. He’s in surgery right now but it’s going to be very tough wnd go for now. If you need to make any calls I would suggest you do it now.” She told her as gently as she could. None of the guys had shown up yet at all and trying to get through to them was only taking her to voicemail.

Eddie snapped out of it a bit when she called for him "Huh? Yeah...yeah I'm alright just...I can't believe she is actually here." He explaine quietly to her

Max frowned deeply when she heard the nurse and gave a small nod. She went to try and call the guys but got silence from them, not even the girls were picking up their phones. She was worried now, scared to think maybe this happened because of them.

She frowned a little and nodded, reaching up carefully and cupped his cheek. “We’re gonna be okay Ed…. Promise.” She smiled tiredly, starting to drift off to sleep as her pain meds were kicking in, still blissfully unaware of what Eddie had just gone through.

Chrissy called him up not long after, standing outside their house and tapping her foot. “Where the hell are you? I’m here to drop off Ozzy and there’s no one home. You want me to report this to the court?” She muttered.

They had her waiting another couple hours before taking her through to the room they’d put him in. “He pulled through about as well as we could’ve hoped but we want to keep him sedated for another day or so. Give his body a chance to heal. The concern is still the brain bleed but we have him closely monitored and there will likely be a few more surgeries going forward but for now, he is stable and needs to rest. You can stay with him.”

Eddie frowned deeply as he heard Chrissy's voice on the other end of the phone "Shit...no I'm at the hospital. Carmen had to emergency deliver the baby." He explained before giving a heavy sigh "I can't take him this weekend."

Max nodded taking a deep breath "Do they know what happened? Did he crash his bike?" She asked softly while holding Grace "Can our daughter be in the room with him as well?"

Chrissy huffed. “Which hospital?” She asked him, taking a wild guess when he still wouldn’t tell her and taking Ozzy down there, “right honey you go in and you tell them that you’re lost and looking for your daddy and his name is Edward Munson okay? Be good. I’ll come pick you up on Sunday.” She told him as she dropped him off outside.

Carmen woke up a little while later to the sound of Eddie on the phone sounding furious, glancing around and seeing Ozzy sat in the chair, clearly a little upset “Hey honey… you okay?” She smiked a little. “You wanna come sit with me? I bet I can make some room.” She told him

He hesitated before nodding and letting her into the room, “someone will be in regularly to check on him.” He assured her before leaving her to privacy.

Eddie sighed as he heard a knock at rhe door around 30 minutes later. He went wide eyed when he saw Ozzy standing there with a nurse. He quickly thanked her before getting Ozzy sat down for the time being while he called Chrissy back. He had tried a few times before finally getting through to her starting to yell before getting up to the go to the bathroom when he noticed Carmen waking up.

Ozzy frowned some and went over to Carmen "My mom dropped me off....Dad is upset though...I heard him say he couldn't watch me over the phone at your house." He explained giving a small sigh "Are you okay? Where is the baby?"

Max went wide eyed when she got into the room seeing how bad the damage actually was. He was covered in bruises and stitches, looking as though he shouldn't be alive. She took a shaky breath as she sat beside him and finally broke down once she was left alone.
