Name: Tiberian Andernai
Age: 16

Gender: Male

Species and Species Description: Celestial Scion

They are born when an unborn child is touched by the soul of a dying star. Tiberian is unique though; he is the soul of a NEWBORN star.

Appearance (description, image, or both if you're into overkill)

View attachment 280853

Though he is male, Tiberian is naturally androgynous, and is attractive to any gender. He is 5ft8, and his horns are actually 4ft long antennae that he keeps short by force of will.

Minus the staff and orbiting spheres, in the pic.

Personality (please no walls of text): Ultimately kind and caring, he can be vitriolic and facetious on occasion. Always willing to give one the benefit of a doubt, but will not allow himself to be fooled twice. Though the company of others does not bother him, he is used to being alone.

Bio (please no walls of text): On a distant planet in another galaxy, a lonely farmer who had lost his family to illness wished to the stars for someone to share his life with. His wish became a star that fell from the sky and landed in his hands, becoming a baby boy. As the boy grew, his father loved him more and more, but the boy grew unnaturally beautiful at a young age and people believed he was a ploy by evil creatures to corrupt the village, into sin. To protect his son, which he loved beyond all reasoning, the farmer wished for him to be taken away. A passing comet obliged his wish and took the child with it. This put the boy into a stasis until the comet passed by Earth 8 years ago.

Magical Ability:

Personal Gravity: He is not truly weightless, but he can levitate indefinitely, attaining true flight for short periods of time.

Celestial Magic: Defensive Star magic that can produce shields and wards, but is used predominantly to augment allies

Stellar Magic: Offensive Star magic including explosions, gravity wells, and shooting stars. Has artillery range if charged.

Starlight: There is almost no darkness that a star’s light can’t illuminate.

Stardust: He produce stardust to enchant items with a temporary glow and reduced weight. Often seen left in his path. (Yes like pixie dust) It shines with a pale silver light, but more blue than moonlight.

Weapons/Special Gear (if any):

He keeps a broomstick that is constantly covered in stardust to “ride” on because he is always called a witch.

Other:

His tears fall, shine, and fade in horizontal arcs like meteors.

He is physically weak and has low magical stamina.

His abilities, though powerful, are instinctual and can’t always be controlled.

He is one after all.

The only thing wrong is the age. Maybe heighten it so that he's not a teenager running into what may or may not be death...?

Maybe something above 20...?

Mimi's an exception because... I dunno. I guess I don't want her above 20 when her faceclaim makes her look 7

And the peppermint lady? I think her magical half makes it okay since she doesn't completely function like a normal human.

But I'd like to think something born from a star (Tiberian) wouldn't even be able to think properly under a few thousand years, much less at 20. I'm surprised I'm not forcing Delacare to make him over a million. :v

how about i make him functionally 16 and take away the comet's statis? That would easily put him at over a lightyear old, easily.

also, Tiberian was born as a normal human for all intents and purposes. His mind registers time and space that same way a human's would. If he embraced a star's thinking pattern, he would transcend this plane and probably become a second sun.

Science matters, friend. :v

If he's a normal human, and the comet's stasis had been taken away, and Tiberian was born in a different galaxy (the closest being many light years away (also, light year isn't a measure of time, it's a measure of distance--how fast light can travel in a year)) then he would have died before he even reached our solar system. Even with magic, a comet won't be travelling that fast. Ever.

Salty , dear, I have a character that is literally a human that died, their soul trapped and compressed. And then turned in to a gem thing. Let's be a little more lax here

Literally all I'm asking for is for the age to be above 20 though

Yeah but to be fair, a soul is an intangible concept that you cannot apply science to. This is something we have hard evidence for, so there's a difference tbh

The only sciencey thing we can relate to yours is the energy consumption it would have taken, but yeah that's not really infeasible
