Boris stuck his tongue out at his sister at her comment. He wasn't being rude, she was being rude. His attention was pulled away from the conversation as Olivia spoke curtly before turning on her heal to leave and get the food. Boris quickly attempted to follow her pace, about to call out for her to slow down when he stopped as she did so without him asking. Smiling lightly to himself Boris caught up to her and began to hobble along almost beside her, still a tad behind.
It didn't take the two too long to reach the lunch laddies. A lot of the good food was gone which was a shame, but there was still one glorious ham sandwich sitting in the warm glow of the cafeteria light like a present from God. He was about to tell Liv to snag it while they had the chance when it seemed she read his mind and grabbed it before he had the chance to comment. He was about to praise her on her sandwich catching skills when an alarm blared.
Wincing he turned to look at what was the problem before he saw the sandwich fall to the ground and turned back around sharply, "THE SANDWICH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! THE HUMANITY HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN LIV??!?!?!?!?" the words from the com however made Boris's horror filled expression turn to one of confusion. The room began evacuating quickly, Boris looked around unsure of where he was to go when Liv's voice made him focus on her.
Nodding Boris began walking with her, hobbling as fast as he could so that people wouldn't begin to shove him to get out. He chose not to notice Olivia blocking people's shoving with her body, fighting a small smile from his lips at the small action. As they exited the cafeteria Olivia took the lead, leaving Boris a few steps behind. She may have been trying to stay a little slow for Boris, but he was beginning to wear down quickly and was beginning to breathe heavier as he struggled not to fall behind.
Boris felt tears of frustration rising to his eyes before he quickly blinked them away again. Who needs two perfectly good legs, he is just fine without them. He just walks like a snail and it takes more energy to travel with the crutch, having to lift his body up with his arm wasn't as pleasant as it sounded. As much as he is used to walking with his crutch walking quickly is hard, he doesn't usually distribute his weight properly on his hand and it tires him out quickly.
When Boris went to take one of his step's however, his arm didn't go down properly and it gave out on him, sending him crashing to the floor. Boris let out a loud yelp as his body made contact with the floor, particularly his knee first. Boris bit his lip in attempt to not let out a scream. His head swam as he tired to regain his breath from the shock in his system. Icy hot pain flaring through his knee in fast hard pulses. His stomach did flips as he he closed his eyes trying to block out his pain, ignoring the blood staining his teeth as his bit his lip to the point of puncture.
