And misguided intelligence brings with it chaos, violence, unparalleled destruction. It has been said that every technology can be abused. So why have men of such intelligence not done anything about that?


Welcome to Project Athena. Who are they? What are their goals? Noone seems to know, but they have begun recruiting young talent from around the globe. For the most part these were children whose achievements have begun to set them apart from humanity - gifted teens with the potential to change the world.

Well, 4 and a half people.


This concept had its roots in the movie Tommorowland. Very Disney. Everyone is all optimistic. And the only antagonist is a very obvious one.


Although it is against my usual nature I went a shade darker here. I sort of took an manga stance and gave Project Athena some competition. Most of its enemies are clueless. Project Athena is all about saving the human race. The question is: from what? The list is pretty long.

Terrorism


Economic Collapse


Counterculture / Societal Collapse


So many problems to solve. But every research project that gets approved is in line with solving these problems.
