Khione padded through the woods wearily, her paws flicking up small flurries of snow with every hurried step she took, her pupils darting around, ears pricked for any signs of danger. Her amber irises were dull and emotionless, as always, though they were also alert, scanning the shadowed forest with an intelligent stare, as though she knew how to pinpoint movement in the darkest of places. Slowly, her pace slackened to more of a tip-toe, and she lifted her white and gray-laced muzzle upwards, whiskers twitching as she sniffed for any unknown scents, though didn't notice any alarming scents with her keen nose, so she set off again, faster than before, knowing for now, nothing was off about the area. Her white pelt, usually bright from the shining sun, though darkened from the overhead trees. Her pupils were dilated more than the average wolves to capture any sudden movements, sense of hearing and smelling keener to pick up any sound or scent. Suddenly, she froze, hearing something in the brush. She sniffed, inhaling, and caught the scent of snow-hare. Her ears perked in excitement, something she'd show for a chance to hunt. He slipped through the brush, weaving her way soundlessly around to find the white rabbit, snuffling among the ground, searching for grass. Effortlessly, Khione leaped forward with incredibly swift, quick movement and pounced on the creature, giving it a clean bite to it's spine. She lifted her head to the sky, eyes shut, and chanted a prayer in ancient greek, "Ω, κέφια! Σας ευχαριστώ για αυτή την ευλογία των τροφίμων, τα οποία θα ενισχύσουν μου, να ικανοποιήσουν την πείνα μου! Αυτή η ζωή έχει υποστεί ένα άλλο, και για αυτό, είμαι ευγνώμων για αυτό είναι πλούσια σε πρωτεΐνες παρέχει μου! Αυτή η ζωή δεν έχει λήξει στη θλίψη, αλλά με ευγνωμοσύνη!" With that, she dipped her head in silence before, lifting the limp body in her strong jaws and carrying it away, looking for a safe, secluded place to eat her meal. She ushered her way forward through the forest, pausing to scan her unfamiliar surroundings.
