Kuna sat up on the bed and flicked her ears. She gently nudged him.​

He looked at Kuna. "Is it alright with you?"

She stretched and crawled up to the headboard of the bed and rested her head on a pillow. “Yep. Go on.”​

 

[ninja nugget]

"Alright." He crawled up and gave her a quick kiss before leaving out of the room.

She smirked and watched him leave. She cuddled into a pillow.​

A couple hours later that night he came back and flopped into the bed and cuddled up with Kuna.

Kuna was fast asleep and had a calmed expression.​

He smiled and pulled her into his chest slowly drifting off to sleep.

After a while longer, she woke up with an inaudible gasp. She was sweating and shaking. Obviously having one of her nightmares which she hasn’t had one a long time.​

Derrin woke up and looked at Kuna. "What is it dear? Bad dream?"

Kuna Valentina

She nodded shakily.​

 

[ninja nugget]

"It's ok. I'm here."

Her shaking began to increase and tears swelled out of her eyes.​

"Hey hey calm down. Nothing is going to hurt you. I promise."

“I-I’m sorry, D-Derrin… but I need to run t-to the bathroom,” she muttered and raced into the bathroom.​

"Oh. Ok."

She slammed the door and shrunk with her back against the door crying.​

"..."

After a few minutes, she came back out like nothing happened. She got in bed with her back facing him.​

"Kuna...are you ok?"

 

[teluhtubby]

“I… no…” she admitted.​

 

[ninja nugget]

"Do you mind telling me about it?"

 

[teluhtubby]

“I… I don’t want it t-to scare you,” she stammered, slowly turning to face him.​

"It will scare me if you don't talk to me so I can help."

“I keep dreaming about the ones I love death’s…. I keep seeing them die…” she flattened her ears.​
