Allen finished with his hair and said "Catch." he tossed back the hairbrush, hoping she would catch it.

Vadel raised her hand and caught the comb easily with one hand. She sighed a happy sigh, then smiled at Allen.

Allen smiled back, but since his eyes were on Vadel, he tripped on a tree root, and faceplanted.

Vadel smiled then gasped at the falling of Allen. She covered her mouth then ran over to help him up by reaching out her hand.

"....Ow.." He said, grabbing her hand and pulling himself up. "Ugh.... Thanks..."

"You're welcome." She said cheerfully. "You can see ghosts....right?" She asked curiously.

"Yes.... Why?" He replied, dusting himself off.

"Does that mean you'd be able to see my dead parents then?" She asked trying not to get her hopes up but the thought excited her.

"Um.... Yeah, sure... Where did they die?" He asked, a bit curious.

"Back in my hometown, its called Rosilina." She said looking up to him then looking down at the ground as they walked.

"Alright, let's go there!" he says, grabbing her hand and starting to run.

"Wait what!?" She said then her hand was suddenly grabbed and they were running. "We are going to miss school to go to my old house?" She asked as she stayed caught up with him. "I hate to break it to you, but I've been traveling my whole life, that old town would take a couple days to get to. Are you sure you're up to it?" She asked.

"2 things." He says, running a bit faster. "First, yes. Second, if it makes you happy, then sure." He says, smiling.

Vadel ran faster, still running at his side. "Really!?" She said excited. "Okay, let's go then!" She said happily and started laughing. She never knew she could run this fast till now, its like she was a speeding car.

Allen ran faster and faster until Vadel started to get lifted off the ground like a cartoon.

She laughed and started to slow down. She stopped completely and looked at Allen. "I need to grab a few things." She said, she had stopped right in front of a store. "Some things, you know since we'll be on the road." She went inside and grabbed snacks, water, and other stuff she needed. She didn't have any money so she stuffed it in her backpack, trying to be sneaky. The store person chased after her but she ran out of the store and grabbed Allen's hand telling him to "Run!!!"

Allen doesn't move. He just stands there, giving the guy a DEATH STARE. He sees Allen, and runs back inside, slams the door shut, and closes the blinds.

Vadel starts laughing hardly as Allen stares at this guy. If looks could kill, the old man would be dead already.

It's just then that a thump is heard from inside the store. a few seconds later, there are police sirens. "Now, we run." He says, grabbing Vadel's hand and running.

Vadel laughed, this was exciting to her. She enjoyed being chased, it made her adrenaline run. She ran with him, at his same speed.

As they're running, the sirens get louder and louder. Then, a police car cuts them off. Allen evilly grins and takes out his M1911

"Wait Allen, you should not kill innocent people..." She said pulling on the sleeve of his shirt. "Its wrong." She looked around at all of the police cars and men with guns. "What if they have families like I did?" She said looking up at Him with puppy dog eyes.

"..... Close your eyes." He said, and waited.

She grabbed onto his hand and braced herself. He was going to have to. She closed her eyes tightly, waiting for it to be over.
