Fantasy Porter's school for gifted individuals.

"Really? Why do you say that?" Vadel wondered as she ran her fingers through her hair and then swept it to the side to braid it.

Vadel stops too and turns around. She looked at the back of his head and saw dry blood. "Hold on, I'll be right back." She raced to the girls bathroom and wet a paper towel. She went back to where Allen was and cleaned of the extra blood. "Much better." The paper towel was tossed in the trash. "He's a jerk for throwing that at you. And I'm a jerk for laughing." She smiled. "We can all be jerks now."

"Yes, you're deadly." She laughed. "First you killed max, and then you punched a kid in the throat." She laughed as she re imagined the whole seen with the baseball.

Vadel had a half smirk as she watched Allen look down at the ground. "When are we outta here?" She asked. "Is school over yet do you know?"

"Yes! I don't have to deal with dirty looks anymore!" She said happily. She frowned after realizing that she wouldn't see Allen till tomorrow, and that meant being by herself for the rest of the day. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, I'm off to the park now."

"Yeah sure!" She said happily placing herself next to him as they start heading down the path there. It was really nice outside, and it was warm. That's why vadel was choosing to stay at the park for the rest of the Summer, or until she could get a house. She enjoyed being outdoors.

What Vadel didn't know was that Allen lived nowhere near the park. He lived in an alleyway in the city a few miles west. He just wanted to spend more time with her.

"I'm just going to be honest, I actually live here." She laughed shaking her head. "But as soon as I get more money I'm going to rent an apartment, or buy a house or something." She admired the trees around. "So is where you live nice?"

"What? An alleyway? I'm sorry about that..." She frowned then smiled a little. "You know you didn't have to lie about living next to the park, but thank you for walking me here." She smiled. "Its probably a good idea to go get your bike." She laughed.

"See ya..." She sighed as he walked away then she too, turned around and went underneath a tree at the park. She got out a book of spells and started to read it.

Allen returned to see his bike on fire and his helmet with a piece of paper in it. He ran over and read it. 'Nice try' it read. "Dammit..." He says, and starts walking back to the park, knowing he can't get home without his bike.

I hope Allen's doing okay...she thought, then dozed off against the tree. The sun was beginning to go down, and the sky was full of bright sunset colors. She dreamt of her parents before the murder, and then the dream quickly escalated to the bloody mess of her parents deaths. The bad dream woke her up and in the distance she could see a figure walking towards the park.

Vadel looked at him confused. "Where's your bike?" she asked shifting her body to face him. "Oh jeez, did something bad happen?"
