Aaah, thank you! (' ) I'm no yuumei, but I have been drawing for years, so its really handy with RPs because I can just craft whatever characters on spot.

Here are just some of my suggestions as to how your characters could know mine
Of course everything is up for debate, these are just some possible scenarious that popped into my head while I was walking my dog and I figured I'd write them down.

Seeing as your character is the son of Ex-Pokemon Police Chief and my character is from a family well-established in Pokemon medical field - both being rather influential families I assume - we could say that their parent were kind of family friends and would go fishing and on picnics together and stuff like that, leaving the children to play. However as the two grew older, they stopped tagging along with their parents to those outgoings so they slowly fell out of touch. So the characters would have to look after one another not only out of their past friendship, but also out of respect for their parents and their friendships. How does something like that sound?


I also have a lot more intrusive idea of Myra having had a childhood crush on 'cooler and older' Tomoya back when they were like... 11 and 12? Just saying that if we go with the aforementioned scenario it would be a likely outcome. I mean, imagine a young, dreamy-eyed girl looking up to a cool, meticulous young boy who is polite and very straight laced. She's probably see him as a prince at that age. Plus I think it would make for some hilarious scenarios now that they're so much older!

Since your character had step parents he didn't end up staying with, what do you say about a scenario like this... His family and Myra's family were neighbors in Pallet town and since Zorren didn't really get along with his family, he ended up crashing at Myra's household a lot. Her parents may be obsessed with their daughter's future plans, but are generally good people, so they accepted Zorren's frequent visits. This happened especially during the summer before she left for Saffron city for her studies and they pretty much lost touch afterwards.


I stress - these are only SUGGESTIONS! Please tell me what you think and what else you suggest

I rather love the latter idea between our characters. If she had figured out how to push his buttons when they were 11-12 with her crush, she'd be in just as good a position to do so now or to fluster him with casual and more sarcastic advances. After all, being the straight laced guy he is, any sudden invasion of his space with even a semi-sultry look or body posture would instantly throw him off.

Oh my gosh, I know this is a bit of cliche, but just today I sketched how I imagine her at ages of like 10-11 and about 14.


Note the change of bra size in comparison to the current picture.

Spoiler alert, he's going to become a somewhat tragic character among the group, so I figured Umbreon would be his lead for most of the adventure having evolved during the night hours when Tomoya's at his one of his lowest points.


This also gives her that much more reason to mess with him since the two of them coincidentally chose the same starter which more or less proves their influence on one another when they were younger before getting to this point. What do you think?

@Sora, @DarkElite020, since we more or less have every major detail nailed down, I'll get to work on the Introduction Post tonight after I get home from work and hopefully have it posted by around 10-11pm tonight PST.


Just a few other details I thought I'd cover for the sake of making sure no serious surprises wait for anyone in the intro:


* Poke Balls can be bought or made using a Poke Ball Kit that is an optional item which can be purchased for a modest fee when you receive your Poke Dex from the Professor (who will be visiting Viridian City on a business trip for the sake of keeping things relatively different from the games/anime/manga). The Poke Ball kit allows you to craft Poke Balls using a crude method outlined in the instruction manual that comes with it by using the appropriate colored Apricorns as well as a few other basic tools needed for the job. But the hand-made Poke Balls are not as reliable as those made by professional Makers and break slightly easier as well. Still, it's a cheap alternative to having to buy all the Poke Balls you carry from stores and Apricorns grow in relative abundance all across the Region.


- Tomoya is going to really take an interest in this as part of his character development for the future.


* Pokemon from any region and any generation can be captured throughout this RP at any point so long as they make sense given the environment you're in. For instance you won't find many fire-types wandering the open grassy fields and small forested areas between Pallet and Viridian since they'd set everything on fire. As well you won't find many water types on the tops of mountains or along the slopes. Make sense? As long as the Pokemon would feasibly live in a given area, you can encounter it. If you want to consult with the rest of us first just in case, then feel free to notify us here in this thread. So long as no serious objections arise, you're golden.


* Pokemon need to be fed and cared for along the way and taken care of like any living creature, so don't neglect spending quality time with your little pal(s) in your posts. The more you go out of your way to interact with them, the faster they trust and respect you as their Trainer. The Pokemon we receive from the Courier after the Introduction Post goes up will not trust us yet, as they will have been born and raised in various areas and met different people who have shaped their view towards humans. Feel free to construct your starter's personality to your liking, but make sure you have to work for your starter's trust.


That's about it! If anything else is making you scratch your head and wonder "wait, what about this?" then please ask sooner rather than later about it and we'll get it all cleared up!

The trainer I had in mind is a sort-of femme fatale, antagonistic type; she is cool and polite on the surface as she interacts with others, but a bit of a sadist underneath that facade, and wishes to join Team Rocket. (Obviously though, she won't join right off the bat, if at all.) Is this alright with everyone? If you need me to explain my plans for her in further detail, Cho, I will certainly do so via PM.


Speaking of Team Rocket, are the Executives a part of it? Ariana, Petrel, Archer, and Proton, I mean? Or are Giovanni's generals just nameless faces?

Hey there.


Since I work two part-time jobs and am about to go back to school at the end of next month, I know what it feels like to have life get in the way. But sadly if work is taking this much of your time I think it's best that you move on to find another RP. I intend to keep this moving fairly quickly, and it seems your life is more demanding of your time than would be acceptable for this RP's pacing.
