Pokemon: x3

Pacey looked at Tobias and smiled. "That works, unless your hat is tipped, someone runs into you, you piss me off and Phil uses dragon pulse..." Pacey continued his list. "We should get going now. I'm tired of sitting around."

Toby didn't say a word as he grabbed a contact lens case. He always came prepared with disguises as he put on brown contacts. "This is an extra measure for that." The albino only took out two pokeballs as he called Shadow and Psy back.

"Yeah, it's not a good idea to stay here any longer than needed."

With that, Pacey stood up and began walking towards Santalune City. His whole body felt much better. He couldn't take to big of steps, but small strides didn't cause any pain.

"You two better be behind me. I'm not comig back, no matter how much I need you."

Kasai shrugged and returned umbreon and jolteon back to their pokeballs before picking up her bowls and putting them back in her bag. She turned and followed pacey at a fast pace, quickly catching up to him. "Why are you in such a hurry to get to the city?" She said as she spoke in a quiet tone of voice while matching her stride to his.

(Sorry i didt get any alerts saying anyone responded)

"Probably because there's a gym at Santalune." Toby made a dismissive gesture as he walked calmly. Fake, brown eyes looking at the scenery as it changed. "Too bad he'll lose." The teen just placed his hands in his pockets as a few passersby stared at the group.

"I hear the leader at Santalune uses Bug types to battle." Toby made a face at the thought of bug pokemon. He wasn't a fan of the creepy little things. It seemed... unnatural how fast they evolved compared to other pokemon.

Pacey walked several steps before responding to either of them. "Well, if anyone comes looking for our thief, I don't want to be seen as an accessory." Pacey still kept a straight face, not wanting to be shaken by their comments.

"I know she uses bugs. My Fletchling won't have a problem." Pacey released Fletchling and thought of a name. "I'm gonna call you Ace," Pacey said. Fletchling did a few loops in the air, confirming that he liked the name.

Kasai shook her head. She didnt really have an interest in gym badges. She pulled out her pokeball that held her umbreon inside of it. She wanted to battle someone with it. She placed it back into her pocket, deciding to wait to find someone to battle later that night after the boys went to sleep.

"Unless Ace knows either a fire or flying type move, you still won't stand a chance." Toby only moved the cap lower on his face as he tried to avoid as many people's stares as he could. This was the main reason as to why he hated having to come into areas like this. Too many people.

The now brown eyed teen smiled as he held Shadow's pokeball. "Heh, maybe I should challenge her." Toby spoke confidently as he threw the small ball into the air for a second before catching it.

She smirked hearing his cpmment as she kept walking, deciding not to turn around. "Im pretty sure my umbreon could take either of your pokemon." She said confidence in her voice.

Pacey looked at Toby, concerned with his judgement. "You have a poison-ghost type, minimal damage. She must have something to defend against it. Your Drowzee is weak against bugs and will get stomped. I'm just as likely to win as you are," Pacey said, clearly trying to rile Toby up. Suddenly, three trainers walked up, all looking rather confident.

"Hey, you three are you busy?" Pacey shook his head no quickly, trying to let the others not answer. The boy replied quickly. "We challenge you to a three-on-three battle!" Pacey was confused. He had never heard of a three trainer battle. It was creative.

The boy was with another boy and a girl. The boy who spoke wore an orange and white striped shirt with blue jeans, his fellow male wore a similar outfit with blue stripes, and the girl wore a green uniform with a small cap.

(I figured our characters could bond through a battle.)

(Alright!)

Toby was about to make a comment before he was dragged into a three on three duel. Who ever made this kind of battle style was insane. "Well, fresh meat decided to have it." The white haired teen just sighed as he threw out Shadow's ball. "Whatever, I'll play along." The Gengar came out and laughed happily.

"Shadow are you ready?" The ghost type only nodded as it made a face at the challengers.

"Hold on, hold on," the boy with the blue stripes said. "I'm Tristan, this is Joey," he gestured to the boy with orange, "and this is Allison. Now we can start! Go Bunnelby!" His little Bunny Pokemon came out, bouncing around happily.

"Let's go Ace! I wanna see what you can do!" Pacey cheered as he released his bird. "Hey you two," Pacey said, nodding his head to his partners, "I want to get some training in. Don't hog all of the battling. These guys are amateurs."

(You two can control the other characters.)

(Alright, I'll control Joey!)

Joey smiled as he pulled out his pokemon. "Lets go Scatterbug!" The boy with yellow stripes's bug type came out as Toby scrunched his nose up in disgust. The tiny bug pokemon only cried its name happily as it stared at Shadow and Ace.

Toby soon started to speak once more. "It had to be a bug pokemon. It just had to be." The white haired boy looked at the Bunnelby as did Shadow. "We'll take him as an opponent."

The female smiled and threw a pokeball out in the air. "Lets go growlithe." She shouted as the puppy pokemon appeared on the feild. Kasai grimned and threw umbreons pokeball in the air. "Lets go umbreon. Show her what the darkness is truly like." She said as he appeared on the field. "Im ready guys" she said to the other trainer.

Pacey was ready to battle. Have his first battle ever. It was a rather unique battle too.

"Ace! Use agility then peck on Scatterbug!" Pacey ordered. The bird started flying back and forth, gradually picking up speed, before going up to the bug, wagging it's beak back and forth.

Tristan decided to attack to. "Bunnelby! Use quick attack on the Umbreon!" he ordered, a smile on his face.

Scatterbug looked scared as Joey order it. "Scatterbug, use Stun Spore!" The small bug pokemon started to shoot off tiny yellow spores onto Ace as it was hit with Peck. Joey smiled happily as his pokemon tried to get up and succeeded. "Good job, Scatterbug!"

Toby looked bored as Shadow yawned. "Shadow, block Bunnelby and use Hypnosis!" The Gengar laughed as it quickly moved in front of the rabbit pokemon. Yellow rings came out of the pokemon's eyes as it stared into Bunnelby's.

Kasai smirked. "Ok umbreon, use dark pulse on growlithe." Umbreon let out a cry and shot a pulse if dark energy hurtling straight towards it. Alison looked worried, "growlithe dodge it with agility then use bite on gengar." She commanded and the puppy moved with inhumam speed heading towards the ghost type. Kasai saw this and looked to umbreon. "Umbreon, protect shadow and take the bite attack." She said and umbreon ran and stood in front of shadow as the puppy pokemon clenched his jaws around umbreons tail tightly.

Ace was hit with the spores, but wasn't completely immobile. Just very slow. "Ace, try a quick attack on Scatterbug!" Pacey ordered. He figured that a quick attack could get through with enough speed. Pacey clenched his fist, hoping it could get through.

Bunnelby fell asleep and couldn't move. Tristan complained aloud and started pouting, yelling at Joey to try harder and protect his Pokemon next time.

Tobias soon looked at the Growlithe and snapped his fingers. "Shadow, use Shadow Ball on Growlithe." The Gengar smiled as it collected a ball of dark energy in his hands. "Gengar!" The shadow ball was quickly shot at the puppy pokemon.

"Scatterbug dodge it!" Joey only looked at his pokemon as it quickly moved out of Ace's path. The trainer soon got an idea as he looked at his pokemon. "Buddy, move over to that Gengar and use Rage Powder!" Scatterbug nodded as it quickly moved towards Shadow and covered him in some type of spore.

Kasai smirked as the grothlithes attack hadnt hurt her umbreon at all, being a dark type as well. She looked at gengar as it got hit with the spores. She wrinkled her brow in confusion, having never heard of the move. She turned her attention towards growlithe. "Umbreon finish off that growlithe with a swift." She said hoping to finish off the fire type and go help shadow and ace.

(Ive never heard of rage powder what does it do?)

(Attracts all attacks. You can't attack other Pokemon.)

Pacey was a bir upset. Ace's attack was too slow. Too slow for a bug type. Still, Ace had to get stronger somehow. "Ace, use growl!" Ace started making low grumbling sounds, but theopposjng Pokemon seemed uunaffected. Ace wasn't exactly "intimidating."

"Ace, quick attack on Scatterbug!" Ace repeated the previous sequence of events, but perhaps the paralysis was wearing off.

Triatan meanwhile, was struggling to get Bunnelby to listen!

"Buunelby! Stop playing in the grass! We're battling!"

Joey was distracted as he looked over at Tristan and his pokemon. He failed to notice that Ace's attack was coming for Scatterbug before it was too late. "Gah!" The trainer only looked at his fainted pokemon as he called him back. "You did good, Scatterbug."

Toby only looked at Shadow, a small frown on his face as he called him back. "Psy, let's go." The teen soon threw out Drowzee as he looked at Bunnelby. "Psy, use confusion on Bunnelby."

Umbeon let out a cry, letting loose a barrage of stars, the attack hurdling towards the puppy pokemon at blinding speeds. "Growlithe try to dodge." Allison shouted but it was too late as the attack hit growlithe, sending him flying back, swirls appearing in his eyes as he fainted. "Good job boy." She said recalling him then letting out her next pokemon. "Lets go pidgey." She smiled letting out a rather large looking pidgey.

Kassi smiled recalling umbreon as well, good job boy. Time for a break. Lets go jolteon." She said throwing the ball up high in the air. Jolteon emerged from the pokeball growling dangerously at the bird as sparks crackled through his fur. He looked extremely serious and kasai wondered if something was bothering him and decided to talk to her pokemon later. She glanced over to the others to see how their battles were going.
