Fandom Pokemon: Worlds Unfurled

Okay. Glad to know I'm not tripping.

Hey everyone, got some news for you. Tomorrow is my last final (yay) and this Saturday I'll be moving back home from school until the next semester starts. Because of this, I will likely not be posting again until after New Years, but do please continue on at your leisure. I'll be able to bring Sakura back into the swing of things once I come back, so since this is probably the last communication you'll get from me for a while, have fun and good luck with your endeavors.

If you have questions or need lists for Pokemon, then leave me a message here in the OOC page and I'll do my best to get back to you and supply you with the lists you need, but it will take me longer than it used to.

I guess just asking ahead of time, If our group went to route 24 how long would it take to get to Cerulean and what pokemon would be found?

Haha, cool King! Those are definitely uncommon/unused. Lol.

I'll have a list up sometime in the next few hours.

@Kyero Alrighty! Figured Id ask early since our group probably wont move much from Rock tunnel, route 24, cerulean city and 25 if we're pushing it.

Regardless I wish you luck with your final and A happy holidays with your family ^^

Awhh maaaan. There's Blitzle on the list, which I was going to go for but then changed, just to spite me xD And Vullaby, but no Rufflet. Lmao.

@Kyero

Is there a chance we'll be seeing Goomy again? I missed him in the earlier routes.

Kay cool. I don't mind, as long as I get the chance to catch it again.

Thank you @Shura . Anyway, Route 24/25 is up and I have another announcement about the RP.

In Cerulean City, there is going to be an Eevee event. Three, count them, three Eevee are going to be going up for adoption from a local Pokemon Breeder named Cecelia. So here are the different Eevee and a bit of special information about each one so you can fight amongst yourselves to choose which you want if indeed you want one:

Eevee I:

* Gender: Male

* This Eevee has a bit of a bratty nature to it. When it wants something of you, it wants it now and if it doesn't get it then you're in trouble. Maybe that means that it will chew on your pillow when you're sleeping or eat some of your snack when you're out taking a bath on a river when on the road or something, but you'll pay for not giving it what it wants.

* This individual also has access to a special move not used in the games called Strafe**.

* Lastly, this Eevee is already seven years old and is very near its evolution stage should someone use a stone or manage to raise its friendship quickly enough.

** Strafe is similar to Agility, but there is a clear distinction between them in this RP. Agility only speeds up forward movement, so whatever direction the Pokemon is moving, that's what increases in speed. Strafe, on the other hand, is like Agility for lateral and otherwise non-linear movement. For instance, if Eevee is facing its opponent and they use a special attack like Vine Whip or something, Eevee can use Strafe to rapidly jolt from left to right, front to back, or on any diagonal axis at high speeds to avoid the strikes. However, due to how rapidly the Pokemon goes from zero to sixty (so to speak) this move takes a lot of stamina and can only be used a few times per battle (maximum at this stage is 4 times).

Eevee II:

* Gender: Female

* This Eevee is naturally a friendly and loving cuddle bug, even with people who are new to her. The reason being is that she is actually Cecelia's own Eevee whom she bred specifically for herself. Cecelia raised her with a great deal of love and affection, hence the loving nature of this particular specimen. As such, this Eevee will bond with you very quickly, but the downside is that it's young, being only two years old and its body cannot handle evolution even via stone (nor will it until it turns at least 5 years old)

* This Eevee also knows a move not used in the games, and this move is called Fade**.

* Finally, this Eevee has a single birth defect which makes her uniquely identifiable from other Eevee, and that is that she has Heterochromia Iridium. Her left eye is a deep green, and her right eye is a dark chocolate brown.

** Fade is a move which Cecelia taught Eevee over their two years together, and it's a very, very special move. Fade allows Eevee to literally vanish for a few brief moments in the same fashion as Ghost Pokemon, which is odd since she is a Normal type. The reason why this Eevee can do this is unknown, but Cecelia seems to understand just fine so perhaps you should ask her.

Eevee III:

* Gender: Female

* This Eevee is relatively indifferent to humans, as it was born in a breeding center, passed between both loving and abusive human homes before reaching this point and falling under Cecelia's care, and developed an understanding of the best and worst that humans have to offer. As such, the way you treat this Eevee will determine how fast or slow it bonds with you much more aggressively than other Pokemon. This Eevee knows the difference between empty words of encouragement and genuine concern, so if you just talk to/at her, she will know. You must really engage her and make her believe your words, otherwise she'll refuse to acknowledge your sincerity.

* This Eevee has no special moves, however, it has something else that the other two lack: toughness. This Eevee, due to its various experiences with humans and differences in battle styles throughout the years, is much tougher and stronger than most other Eevee. In fact, if you had this Eevee against one of the Te Brothers, you probably would have won despite the type disadvantage. This Eevee's physical toughness coupled with its unshakable determination make her ideal for more aggressive or head strong trainers.

Wow. Awesome. I probably would have gone with either II or III; if I needed an Eevee x3 I shall wait and watch and see who gets 'em! :D

O.o Must get eevee!

@cloudyblueday: Hey! I dont mind either 2 or 3. Might be better if Harro got 3 though because shes stronger and a better battler. Abby as battle oriented

@Shura

Yeah I probably would have gone three IF I was wanting an Eevee. But I'm happy with how I see my team at the moment. Maybe I'll think about it, if no one wants it.

Hmmn you know what.. I think I might take that third one. You've really convinced me, Shura. Now I just have to figure out what I'd replace it with..

@Kyero

Will we come upon a daycare at some point in the roleplay? Or do we just have to use the PC to store Pokemon?

Lovely concept. And everyone loves special event pokemon! #1 and #3 are the ones that I would be keen on. Lol though #3 is taken and Ricky already has a bratty pokemon on his hands. Though it certainly is worth considering.

Lol indeed. Best friends, or bitter enemies competing for Ricky's affection. Lol which doesn't sound unfun at all xD My level of consideration is increasing.

Far enough. We are about to leave Pewter City.

We have little planned for Route 3 so it should be quick uneventful trip when it comes to posting.

Mt. Moon will likely be the duration of our posting with a few personal events happening inside. Lot's of fun to be had in a dark cave.

Route 4 I foresee being similar to that of Route 4 in terms of lack of complications. Unless a farfetch'd can be encountered there. Then I will have to catch it :P Or anything any of the others might like to door catch.

The distance from point to point is longer on our end than your's. But I think the length of Rock Tunnel should help even things out and it is believable that we could be arriving in Cerulean at around the same time in IC time. Though posting may or may not leave one of our groups waiting depending on how steady posts come out, but that should be easy to wiggle around.

Hmm maybe. Our group is fairly consistent with posting. We were going to hang around rock tunnel but with the eevee thing the group might hear of something going on in cerulean and want to go there for a bit *shrug* We have a few things planned for Rock tunel Abby's gonna catch two pokemon a Mawail and a Noibat. I'm not sure if any of the rest of the team will really catch any pokemon so it might be uneventful in terms of posting

It is not necessarily an IC event. I would not imagine that it would be advertised IC, or if it was probably just in the city. Pokemon adoption is likely a common place practice that would not normally get much attention, leaving our trainers lucky by coincidence. No sense in rushing things along. We get to enjoy the innocent and exciting first few months of a trainers lives. So much to do, so many mistakes to make, so many team members to get to know. Lol events are not limited to catching pokemon. Heck, once we get going I will be making an event of Ricky calling his mother.

One thing I am curious of, when our groups meet, what will happen? Will they just part ways as rival teams, battle, merge into a larger team, so on and so forth.

I think it depends on what happening really. I could see the groups being rivals but Abby just being excited to meet other trainers xD

I think rivals would be cool. They would still get to interact on many occasions but without the mess of a large group. I can't wait to see what happens.

I have a feeling Harlow is very much going to like everyone. Especially Abby.
