Mechanics:

Battling:

So the way battles go is that we'll have each opposing Pokemon start with 100% Hp because we're not actually using actual Hp numbers and stats, you'll both take turns rolling dice to see if your attack is a hit or miss ((see hitting/Missing area)) then we go to the 100 sided die to see how much damage you do, if you get let's say a 77 on the die then you take 77% off from the Hp and the opposing Pokemon only has 33% Hp. Critical hits happen whenever you get a 100 on a die but nothing special happens except for a good job from me! If you're fighting a Pokemon which is the opposite of your type like say it's a dark type Pokemon and you have a Pokemon with a fairy move, using that move is super effective and you're damage is multiplied by Two but if it's not effective its divided by Two. If you have a move that has an effect on the opposing Pokemon like say using ember has a chance to inflict burn then use a 10 sided die and if the number is 1-4 it isn't affected and 5-10 it's affected.

Capturing:

So if you're looking to grab a wild Pokemon then the way to do it is by damaging it, if you hit it for let's say 33% then you have a 33% of capturing it, but be warned if it's Hp hits 0 you cannot capture it and you only get 3 tries at getting a Pokemon. Just subtract the 33 from the 100 and you'll get a 77 sided die which increases the chance to catch it anything lower than half of that number is a failed attempt. If the Pokemon is at 1% Hp then you're free to catch it.

Missing/Hitting

Well this ones not really a stat base since your speed doesn't kinda matter in this situation. So how missing and hitting is going to work, you'll roll a d20 and if you land 10 and higher that is a hit anything below that is a miss and if you land a perfect twenty that's your critical hit! So on your attack dice you'll add +40 but if you get a Critical 1 you are very open to a critical chance and a hit as your Pokemon either fell flat on its face or made itself dizzy for a moment so the opposing team will get a +5 to their dice roll and if they do get a 20 or higher they get a nice crit on you.

On the subject of mega evolution, yes that's available in this Rp and it does give you much more power than normal as it will give you +7 for your d20 roll and if you do hit you get to add 20 more damage to the roll but you CANNOT use mega evolution on EVERY SINGLE BATTLE! Only on special battles or on an occasion or two.
