Sometimes auto hitting will be unavoidable. But I've always given chance for characters to avoids the attack. Though if there was really no way to avoid it them it's ok to auto hit. Though be careful when you do. Sometimes the other player will think there was time. I'll let you go on this one because I really don't think she would have gotten out of the way anyways

Typically I'm used to typing in a fashion where it makes it sound like the hits land but am fine with someone else's post coming up with a reason why it didn't and making it so it didn't hit.

 

[Latios]

I think it's fair to assume that most everyone here types in a fashion where they say the launch the attack and then he next player has to either type up something to dodge it or take the hit. Though we give everyone to opportunity to avoid just about every attack. Your characters have to take some hits sometimes.

Of course. Obviously all characters get hit... Cept Moltres.... Cheeky bird... Alright, I'll make a more solid effort to use that style then.

Moltres is sort of a big deal. Not only is he a Legendary, he is an experienced Legendary. He's probably been fighting Pokemon all his life, which is a much longer span than Tristan's.

Even then, the most experienced legendaries do get hit. Take Arceus, the oldest legendary in existence, and the most powerful. Pikachu managed to hit him twice.  And a hoard of electric type almost electrocuted him to death.

Then again. Arceus's technique for battle was to pretty much to negate all attacks coming his way. That's why even 3v1 of Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina couldn't take him down. But his power to negate 5 attacks, one being electric attacks, was "given up" when he made the jewl of life and ultimately was unable to get back.    


If Arceus had his life plates during that fight fight I'm pretty sure he would ahead come out without a scratch
