Alright, so I'm planning on making my character, but is their any place I can read a summary of what's happened insofar? Or, is that not necessary to join the story?
Also , it might take me a while. I like to get everything set in stone before I make a character.

The only Black Latios
Here's what's happened:
Out characters were all enjoying a normal day like any other. However fate said otherwise. Shadows attacked the mountains forceing them to flee. They stopped at a human village to gather supplies for their journey to end this threat. Just as they were about to leave, the shadows from earlier came down from the mountains and tried to invade and destroy the village. But we managed to prevent it.
From there, our first stop was to find the 3 legendary birds. So they headed off the the Orange islands. Once there they managed to warn the legendaries and told them to gather at a location so they could help defeat this problem. Now they are resting on an island in the furthest reaches of the Orange Islands.
(I wouldn't join in at this island as they are leaveing it in the next post)

Alright. Thanks for the heads up. This is a more PMD-esque RP, right? With very few trainers and mostly Pokemon going around doing the stuff?

Yup. As of now, Nathan (my character) is the only human. Everyone else is Pokemon.

Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia took place in a sub area of Sinnoh. A place in the Sinnoh "region" but not at the continent itself.

No, we are. I was just telling @Assailant that there are rangers in Sinnoh (even though they appear in the show. However after a conversation a while ago, everyone is aggressive to anime)
