It's ok. And I'm happy to help with anything unknown. But so far you haven't made many mistakes due to knowledge lacking. Basics is really the only thing required for this RP. Anything advance for knowledge of Pokemon more falls on the lines of stat crunching in the games (damn the EV and IV system to hel. It's SOO difficult.)

It's no problem at all. There are some minor inconsistencies, but on a RP like this, it's almost impossible to remain wholly faithful. You've been great, it's been awesome having you around!

And if I may throw my hat into the ring it is relatively simple to get to know pokemon. (Not the IV and EV systems) For me the most I would ask is that if you pick a pokemon get to know that Pokemon. Stats don't have to be too big of a worry but I'm referring to the Moves they can learn/know. And that on it's own can be simple. I know a great site for Pokemon knowledge and I would be more then happy to share it if you need to Daisy.

Well, even that's not really a concern. I usually just look up their move-set whenever a battle begins. We also barely follow the Pokedex, so that's not really a problem (if we followed it more closely, there would definitely be issues in a variety of ways.) All you really need to know is the Pokemon's physiology, I think. Really it's like playing any other character. Of course, the more you know about the world, the more convenient it becomes, but it's not necessary in any way,

Yeah, simple knowing the various Pokemon, elements, moves, and mechanics (like evolution and type advantage. Nothing too special) is about enough to properly RP with Pokemon.

And IV and EV are simple to understand on paper, BUT DOING THEM, that's another story... I ultimately stopped on making my 250 HP EV Blissly. And IVs are sooooooooooooooooo time consuming that it's just not worth it. Not to mention it is more confusing than EVs

They made IVs somewhat easier in Sun and Moon, with the Judge function you can get for the PC box. It will actually tell you how each IV is on a scale of No Good, to Best, along with a graph. And EV training is easier as well, with the help of a glitch that is now patched (i can delete the update data, and redownload it later when I am done glitching.)

Well I play Platinum/FireRed/Sapphire so all that is useless in my endeavor to get OP Pokemon.
