Fandom Pokémon: OOC Thread

Just a quick check, this takes place after the contest and before the next one, right?

My thoughts are

252+ SpA Tera Steel Gholdengo Make It Rain vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Ninetales-Alola with an ally's Aurora Veil: 464-548 (132.5 - 156.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Okay, so let me re-phrase my earlier question.

What are the objectives (if any) our respective characters have?

Esther's primary objective was to catch an Alolan Sandshrew; since her conversation with Altair, she's decided not to progress with that. Instead, she will take this time to sight see and have some fun with her Pokémon.

TL; DR Esther's objective is to have a winter fun-day.

What objectives do the other characters have at the moment and let's see how we can tie them together then wrap up with our raid fight.

Edit Appended:

As I understand, G's goal is to obtain an Ice Stone for her Vulpix.

If no one has objections, then I think we should turn this into a Journey. Mt. Lanakila is based on Mauna Loa & Mauna Kea, which are two volcanoes—one active, one dormant. It is supposed to be a big mountain and in the games its divided into several areas: Base, Upper Reaches (Lower), Upper Reaches (Middle), Icy Cave, Upper Reaches (Upper), and the Summit.

There's a lot we can do with this.

I did some looking around and there are generally two ways to climb Mauna Loa—one is a 'difficult' hike but it is a hike rather than a climb and can be done within a day with little more than food, water, and some good winter gear; the other is a much longer hike that's more gradual, starts in a forest, and typically takes 3 – 5 days.

With Pokémon I'm sure we could make better time than most hikers and from the perspective of fun, I suggest we take the shorter but more difficult day hike.

Overall, I think we do a little climbing over two days tops; one day if we want to move on quickly.

We can Hike, traverse some lava fields, navigate rough terrain, ice climb, then make an ice cave or igloo or something to camp, etc.

I don't think there's much snow at the base since its summer, but once we get about mid-way then it should be a snowy trip from there-on out.

TL ; DR

We should do a 1 or 2 day Summit with some cool terrain/activities along the way.

Okies, here are some images of Mt Lanakila in-game and Mauna Loa irl, so you have an idea of what terrain we'll encounter:

Esther, Altair, and G are already together so we want to figure out how we can get Saiun and Chintana to join up. I figure Saiun isn't too far, but what've yall got in mind?

I think I'm mainly gonna focus on the snowy side

Any thoughts on my earlier question? CHUUYAS_HAT CHUUYAS_HAT oldantiques oldantiques

Would you like us to post freely until you see a chance to bring yourselves into the situation? And do you have any comments on the events/activities I'd suggested?
I totally missed the other one, but yeah, I'll wait on the chance
the lava surfing looks like a peak moment
