Alrighty, thanks for understanding. I'll be here for about the next thirty minutes but that's not nearly enough time for me to finish.


Do you mind if I post up an empty character sheet? Like, just for anyone else to use? Or for you to approve of? It's a little different than a traditional one in one area, so that's why I'm a little iffy about it, but I like this format much better. (My little brother is the one who thought of it. I might ask him if he wants to join but he tends to be really...Unfaithful to RPs? Or any commitments on the internet? My point is he disappears a lot without notice or warning.)

Anyways, I made an amalgamation of my brother's character sheet and my own. The section titled 'The Essentials' are what's really important while 'Extra' is more so for fun or extra detail (character themes and such), and therefore can be cut out.


I'm also going to have a WIP in my next post, will tell you when it's done.

Thanks. I particularly like my brother's idea of a writing example used to demonstrate a character's personality rather than as an evaluation of writing skills for the reasons he explained himself, and I also like starting off with a fatal flaw and saving grace so that I have a sort of base to work my character off and get an idea of what sort of conflicts they could bring upon themselves and what can get them out of them. But ye.

Well I would recommend selecting either Groudon or Kyogre as Chosen are far more powerful then Followers and Servants and will be made available later in the RP because of this. This will allow participants to be challenged during the beginning as Chosen are more then capable of taking small groups entirely on their own. Also Chosen are extremely loyal to their Legendary Pokemon and are the least likely to become Renegades.

Name: Sylvain (Siil-vahn)


Age: As a ghost, Sylvain is ageless. However, upon the age of human death, he was nine years old, and has kept this mental state.


Gender: Male





Species: Phantump


Faction: Follower of Xerneas


Alignment: True Neutral. Though he's viewed as good due to his association with Xerneas' faction, as well as his kinder spirit, Sylvain doesn't really understand, and therefore follow, the logic of good vs evil. He simply does as he feels is fit for a situation, and doesn't hold much bias towards any side, with the most towards Yvetal's faction...And even then, it's quite low considering his own faction.


Fatal Flaw: Naivety - The very thing that got him killed as a human in the first place. Sylvain is the kind who simply assumes everything will work out well and everyone is really good in their own way. Nog 'good deep down', just good. He's painfully trusting, optimistic, and inexperienced, which in turn makes him painfully gullible, borderline delusional, and foolish. Which, needless to say, brings about quite a few troubles and set backs in his life.


Saving Grace: Persuasiveness - Manipulative, even. Sylvain knows how to talk his way in and out of all sorts of situations, and uses his childlike demeanour to his advantage to add pathos on top of it all. He's not afraid to suck up or bend the wills of others for his own gain, and is quite shameless in doing so.

Fighting style:None, if possible. Like most of his faction, Sylvain avoids fighting whenever possible, and only does so if it'll prevent more Pokémon from getting hurt. At heart, he is a pacifist and a healer, and before he ever does get into a fight, he'll try some non-violent way out of it. If that doesn't work and he realises it won't work without anyone getting seriously hurt while trying (as he believes anyone can eventually give in to a peaceful compromise), he'll simply go nuts. No technique, no finesse, no strategy. Just a flat out barrage of attacks.

I'm not the creator of the RP, but I don't think it works like that...


This is taken directly from the vocabulary section:


Chosen- Pokemon who follow the Legendary Pokemon seeking to bring balance out of the belief that Arceus will return. Chosen are usually more powerful than a Servant and Follower, but much more rare as well. Due to their unique nature, the Chosen are usually in much closer contact with their Legendary Pokemon that Servants or Followers.


Follower- Pokemon who follow "good" Legendary Pokemon or those that uphold moral principles or things generally seen as good.


Servant- Pokemon who follow "bad" Legendary Pokemon, or those who ignore moral principles or principles overlooked and ideas that are unpopular or are not clarified.


This means a Chosen can only be one in the faction of Raquaza, Heatran, Girantina, and Kyurem. A Servant or Follower are those who belong to the factions of the other legendaries. One cannot become a Chosen from being a Servant or Follower just as a Chosen cannot become a Servant or Follower.

Faction: Previously a Servant of Darkrai, but is now a Renegade


Alignment: Ryan is a survivor and will do what it takes to survive. However he does have a moral compass and, while somewhat flawed while under Darkrai's command, he is very hesitant about killing or using his Gifted Ability. He isn't, however, above lying, cheating, or performing minor criminal activities such as stealing. Therefore he would fall under the lines of Chaotic Neutral.


Fatal Flaw: Ryan's fatal flaw is his distrusting nature. Due to his short time as a Servant of Darkrai, he sees possible deception everywhere and this makes him hesitant to cooperate with anyone and he usually acts alone.


Saving Grace: While his distrusting nature might be his fatal flaw, his saving grace is, if one can earn it, his loyalty. Ryan can be extremely dedicated to those who prove themselves to be honest with him and he is especially loyal to those he can empathize with, such as other Renegades.


Appearance:

Moves: Shadow Claw, High Jump Kick, Bullet Punch, Focus Blast


Fighting style: Ryan is an aggressive combatant, rarely holding back once he's started. He usually prefers to start a battle through a sneak attack or some other method that grants him an early advantage.





Personality: Ryan is reclusive, preferring to keep to himself rather than make friends. This is primarily due to the ongoing war between the major Legendary Pokemon. He is aware that wars result in casualties, and deserters are hunted. He is also aware that those he befriends are targets as well. This reluctance is dropped when it comes to other Renegades as he understands their situation is similar to his.


History: Ryan's history prior to being summoned to Zodarus is a mystery.


Likes: Being free to think for himself, Freedom, and challenges


Dislikes: Darkrai, Cresselia and her followers, killing.


Talents: Ryan is a capable thief and fights with an assassin-like style though usually without the fatal results.


Hobbies: Ryan hasn't really picked up a hobby during his time. This may change depending on how things work out.


Fears: Ryan's worst fear is that he will never return home. He also has a fear that Darkrai will seek retribution through locking Ryan in a nightmare, though this doesn't worry him as much as he believes Darkrai doesn't care enough.


Crushes: Not Applicable.


Orientation: Straight

Renegades and Chosens aren't linked. A Renegade is simply someone who has left their faction. It's just that he doesn't want someone to have more than one Renegade or Chosen.
