After the defeat of Dark Matter, the world thought it was at peace. For once, there was prosperity, growth, hope... While dark thoughts did pass through the minds of other Pokemon, no Dark Matter formed. The world was safe.
Or so everyone thought.
The truth is, the forces of evil were never at bay. Someone, somewhere, was always up to something. Now, for unknown reasons, Legendary Pokemon are disappearing off the face of the Earth. No one knows why, how, or where they went. There's no order to it, and no warning, either.
With the land's protectors vanishing, nature has grown out of hand. Massive storms, violent and encroaching tides, long bouts of drought where they shouldn't be... the very order of the universe is falling apart. Pokemon are even reportedly coming back to life after dying. Because of this, normal Pokemon are growing bolder, playing with other's lives like they were nothing more than a doll, mercilessly slaying rivals and freely looting stores. Many large towns have gone to ruins, gangs of Pokemon fighting other gangs for dominance and supplies. Organizations disbanded, guilds scattered, and all at once, it seemed the world's last speck of hope for a brighter future was crushed.
Seems pretty bleak, right?
That's where you come in.
You take the role of a Pokemon born into this world. You have the choice of doing literally anything you want to. Want to make a gang and try to take over the entire world? Go for it. Want to form a secret base and live eternally in a mystery dungeon? That's okay. Want to make a guild and try to restore order to this world? Alright. Want to found your own store or town? That's fair game. The true plot of this role play will reveal itself eventually, but for now this is all you're getting. I hope this was enough to get people interested; I do hope on making this a hosted project, as I want to develop lots of locations and eventually have a pretty large group of role players. Literally anything is open to suggestion, so don't hesitate to post an idea or PM me if you want to talk about the plot more in-depth.
