DEAUCALION
Altschul
Male / 14 / 5'3 / Explorer / Artazon, Paldea
#fe9b1e / Nunito
-Personality-
Deaucalion is an eager and slightly airheaded boy who's always looking for "rare Pokemon", many of which are only depicted with crude drawings and have almost no basis in reality, although it could also be because he is very bad at explaining, describing, and recalling things. It's not that his memory is bad, he simply has problems speaking about facts in a way that other people will understand. He is very passionate about myths and legends, but not in a way people usually expect, he has some very unusual ideas about what legendary Pokemon are like.
Although he isn't interested in competing in battle tournaments, he doesn't mind getting stronger and creating bizarre strategies that may help him track down those "rare Pokemon" he is looking for.
-Backstory-
The Altschul family moved to Paldea from some region a decent distance away and settled in Artazon, a city known for having vibrant displays and an artistic vibe. Deaucalion was very young when that happened, hence he always felt like he grew up in Paldea, while his family mostly came to the city to pursue their artistic endeavors. Growing up in an artistic family in an artistic town, Deaucalion's artistic talents were...lacking, to say the least, perhaps a little too avant-garde for the modern era. Although his family didn't expect him to also become an artist, he still felt rather left out of the loop compared to his family and peers around.
However, one day, his grandmother was commissioned to illustrate a series of pieces depicting various mythical Pokemon, which piqued the young Deaucalion's interest. His grandmother was a trainer in her youth and had seen many sights around the world, as she worked on the art pieces she would often tell him stories of her encounters and the legends behind the Pokemon in her works. Deaucalion was interested, however, there was one specific story that his grandmother only off-handedly mentioned that he was the most interested in: The legendary pink serpentine Pokemon. A strange, rotund, yet elongated pink serpentine Pokemon that his grandmother once caught a glimpse of, there were no records of existing Pokemon, legendary or not, that looked like it. All the other Pokemon her grandmother spoke about were recorded well enough for them to be featured in various illustrations and academic material, but only the legendary pink serpentine did not have a name or a clear image, his grandmother even commented that she could have just hallucinated it. Deaucalion was enamored with this Pokemon, or perhaps the concept of this Pokemon, and he would wander around Paldea searching for it after meeting his own first Pokemon, Paldean Wooper and Pincurchin. But ultimately to no avail.
Even though his grandmother said she witnessed the pink serpentine Pokemon in Paldea, Deaucalion knew that powerful legendary Pokemon would migrate from region to region very often, so he decided to do the same eventually, leaving home and wandering wherever rare Pokemon are said to be found.

Rusty Moves: [Body Press], [Take Down], [Heavy Slam]
Suelord wears a top hat with a blue silk ribbon on it, although his beady eyes seem like they have no thoughts behind them, he is actually the most intelligent Pokemon of the team. He loves learning about philosophy and the classics, as well as tactics of war (not battles, but war).
Female
Average Sized
Oblivious
"Qui Qui"
Moves: [Haze], [Sand Tomb], [Sandstorm], [Icy Wind], [Ice Shard], [Bulldoze]
Quiekel wears a red beret bought in Kalos, she is the artistic one of the team and is the only living being in existence who appreciates Deaucalion's art. She once tried to evolve but stopped because she knew that if she evolved, she wouldn't be able to lie on top of Suelord anymore.
Britzigel (Pincurchin)
Male
Smaller Than Average
Electric Surge
"Britz"
Moves: [Rising Voltage]
Britzigel wears a top hat top enough to cover one of his spikes with a yellow ribbon, and is the blitzkrieg specialist of the team, he is by far the strongest battler and is capable of tearing through many foes with his powerful Rising Voltage (as long as they're not ground type), a move he had honed to perfection being the only move he ever practices.
