Ooo, for starters if we do that, would they have to be "normal" starters? I may already have a team picked out oops but i can alter things

As you can tell I do love a Dragon or Steel type 😂

Also I know Sword and Shield is a way off but Corviknight looks awesome, so just throwing out a dibs now lol
 
Okay! Let me try to address everything lmao:

NOTE: IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ THE WHOLE POST JUST LOOK AT THE BOLD COLORED SENTENCES THATS WHAT MATTERS. I WILL BE DOING THIS TO MAKE THINGS LESS OVERWHELMING. please read what you're tagged in though.

So we WILL be doing Alola cross over to a new region, it's settled. I'll start working on it on my days off today and tomorrow and keep you guys updated on progress.

Generic festival is a yes then. I'll try to give it a decent purpose and if you guys would like to maybe pair up, you could come up with individual scenarios for your characters at said festival so you can write a few posts, introduce yourselves, and establish relationships?

Critical.Over Critical.Over LOL that's actually not a bad idea. Maybe they're happy to find a new place, however I'm thinking the Ultra Beasts or perhaps the new bad team are the reason they end up in the new region. I kind of want it to be up in the sky like a mirage .-. just a thought lol.

lonecoyote lonecoyote CaptainSully CaptainSully @ everyone else In response to starters I don't mind if you have one or two pokemon with you, as long as they're base evolutions for the sake of progression you could have, for example (at coyote) eevee and bounsweet, (at sully) you could have say piplup and noibat. Of course pick the firsts of whomever you'd like to have though. That goes for everyones preferences. i don't care if you have gabite and larvitar for crying out loud, just don't have a celebi stashed in there lol. Also CaptainSully CaptainSully I agree with you on Corviknight, however if you could refrain from adding him until we have more information on the pokemon I would be grateful (: but yeah go for it. I don't mind if you guys reserve S&S pokemon just please don't expect to have them until more game information is released.

also lone thanks for the offer on NPCs I might take you up on that for when I am stuck at work. I would prefer we do post game Alola but you can definitely mention Skull to whatever degree fits your character. I'd just rather not make them a present huge presence in the story because we'll probably have our own bad team or whatever.

Did I address everything? Miss anything? Lmk. Working on CS thread now, finally got to a computer! There will be light coding involved and yes I would appreciate it if everyone used it. Just fill in the blanks. (:
 
I agree with the idea of having the Ultra Beasts accidentally send the group to the new region. It also makes sense for that because if we are doing post Alola, then Ultra Beasts are more common in the Ultra Wormhole and in the post story in the original Sun and Moon.

Does anyone fancy pairing up?

My idea for my character is simple enough. This all happens in our custom region assuming you’re ok with it.

So my characters family had been gym owners in Town X for the past century until Corporation Z paid off the Pokemon league to take over it. My character was due to take ownership of the gym but with the takeover that didn’t happen. He decided to head to Alola to have a relaxing vacation and to take in the festival, before setting off on a journey to prove that he should be the rightful gym leader of town X.

My character is going to be a guy, probably early 20s (the young age and travelling the world alone never sat well with me).

So that’s my character’s background and brief bit of detail. Does anyone fancy pairing up?

Also, nobody has to change their future teams just because there's doubles. We'll work around that. Just make them unique to each other personality wise. (would prefer not shiny, or perhaps one but no more.)

No just go ahead and post them in the CS (: If they're a work in progress and you just want to save your progress, just write WIP on the top in bold for me. But keep them in that thread and I'll go through and like them when I think they're done. Everyone's already accepted, we may just need to adjust things possibly.
 
CaptainSully CaptainSully hey so, I see that your post is a WIP so I understand -- just checking to confirm you will be using the coding template I posted in the first post? If you're unable to I can plug it in for you, but it is a requirement.

RedtheRoyalGuard RedtheRoyalGuard Also a little confused on yours. You didn't really follow the sheet I gave you, I don't mind if you add extra but that sheet is there for a reason. Additionally, I don't know if the pokemon you have are just what you'd like your team to be, but I specifically stated I would like for you to just list one or two base level pokemon to start out with for now. Also, as stated before, the coding template is required for the sake of organization so if you could plug it in -- if you can't I can also fix that.

Other than that I'm glad everyone's posting, just please follow the few things that I make to be requirements and read the very first posts because they will have the requirements there or unfortunately I won't be allowing you to join. I just want this to be a little organized for all our sake and the rules aren't hard (:

I’m currently on my phone and it’s now 22:15 here so not going to get around to it now. I was going to look at doing something of my own but if you want me to use your template then that’s cool I’ll do that.

No worries I understand. As long as your code is organized to some degree I am totally fine if you'd like to use your own, just please keep all the information in there even if you want to change it up and word it yourself that's fine! Just keep the idea in there is all I ask for. (:
