Name: Dime OsirisAge: 15
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11"
Sexuality: Straight
Morality: Chaotic Good
Personality-
Dime is your average high school kid with a need to be superior. He can come off as abrasive and even dismissive toward other people; however, he tends to be caring towards others in a more internal manner and externally when they need it most. While he keeps a strong, confident front, Dime can be rattled by extreme emotions when put into the right situations even bordering on defeatism when pushed in the right direction.
Background-
Dime wasn't always a cocky guy with a superiority complex. His mother, being born quirkless, had forbidden him from using his quirk around her, or in public places. This meant his available places were few and eventually he found it easier to simply not use it. His father was almost entirely absent from his life due to his job as a pro hero and this led Dime to become even further attached to his mother. The less he questioned his mother the more he resented his father, and this quickly spiraled into a dysfunctional family relationship where Dime hated both of his parents, but thought it best to listen to the one who was taking care of him; even if it meant not using his quirk like everyone else.
Shortly after the age of ten, Dime's mother quit her job and became next to useless leaving him to do many household chores, and further solidifying his internal disdain for her. By age thirteen, many of Dime's acquaintances thought he was quirkless, including his teachers who recommended he enter the normal workforce. Being beaten down by his mother for years, and with a father absent due to the stresses of being a mediocre pro-hero, he accepted and was on track to become an intern and then a desk jockey at a local company after graduation. Then, tragedy struck. Dime's father was killed in his first solo job, and this sent his household funds into the black. After his mother filed for bankruptcy, she begged Dime to make use of his quirk and become the best pro-hero he could, like his father, so that they could return to the previously middle-class lifestyle they had enjoyed. He swiftly responded by learning the fundamentals of his quirk and launching himself into the elite of the country in time for high school. Deep down, he had always wanted to be the best he could, quirk and all, now he had a reason; even if it meant listening to his mother one more time.
Quirk-
Shadow Forge: The ability to turn shadows into "shadow steel", a malleable substance that gets stronger or weaker depending on how dark it is (I.E. Night is good, day is bad), that Dime can manipulate at will.
Weakness: Dime is restricted to making things that he can understand and comprehends fully. One cog missing from a firearm, or one less fold than required in a sword and it will be next to useless even in ideal conditions (I.E. Nighttime). Also, his quirk is incredibly draining and continuous use can leave the user fatigued for days, and in worse cases the user can faint immediately.
Additional Equipment-
Dime carries around an empty .44 revolver in a shoulder holster for looks, and his pant's pockets are deeper than normal as they are always dark and an ideal place to make things.
