Realistic or Modern Platinum Comics: a Superhero Mythos Building Hosted project

They are ruled over by a council of twelve gods who were the inspiration for the Greek myths.

As someone who knows his greek mythology, I can safely say that these guys are probably huge assholes.

And a young hero of this city (both sides of it) disguises herself as a human but in truth is part of the species more or less responsible for a large chunk of the refugees being there to begin with. Sees that she has to redeem herself as her family played a part in some horrible stuff a galaxy or two away.

Arch nemesis is her brother, who has come to Earth to try to bring her back to her family.

Well they're not really assholes but they aren't good guys either. Their more neutral. Some of them are assholes though.

I'm gonna guess specifically Zeus. Ever read the story of Prometheus?

It basically went like this:

Zeus demands meat sacrifices from each butchered creature which equals a large portion of the edible meat.

Prometheus, who actually likes humans, tricked Zeus into changing the sacrifice requirements to the inedible parts of the animals.

Zeus gets annoyed and throws a hissy fit that ends in him taking fire from humanity.

Prometheus decides that Zeus is being a jerk and takes fire back and gives it back to the humans.

Zeus decides to take this from 1 to 100 and chains has Prometheus to a mountain, where vultures go to eat his organs in the day only for them to regrow in the night.

So Zeus specifically is the bad one. Strangely, Hades, lord of the underworld seems to be the better of the greek gods. Overly Sarcastic Productions explains that pretty well though, so I'll let her explain it.

I'm a Percy Jackson fan. I've done my research. I know my stuff. I really wish I didn't have to butcher Greek mythology to make this work.

Hey butchering it is half the fun. How do you think these stories change and spread? One person tells the stories, another butchers it slightly and tells it to someone else, and this just continues as a cycle. So of course it's not going to be the same, because no retelling is exactly the same. And that's not a bad thing.

First off I meant London in my previous post. I know nothing of Indonesia. Second of all: how would you feel about this badass grandpa guy being a member of an old WW2 superhero team that is going to be important to the background for a current hero team.

Sounds like it would suit him quite well.

Woah, this is a lot of pages, did this thing start yet?

This looks cool, I'm interested.
(As long as it's still open of course)

Only one paragraph?!

I have you know that I only participate in roleplays with at least 4 chunky paragraphs...
Minimum!

Well the good news is that a lot of people here are likely to have the same standards, so you can go and RP with them instead of with the people who you disagree with enough to refer to as plebians. Or you could be like me and try not to care. That works too :P

Well then don't respond. Just go. Leave. Don't say anything. I don't want to know how many paragraphs you prefer because I'm not changing the minimum to suit your needs. If you want to post that many paragraphs that's fine but don't put others down for not posting that much.
