Tommy stopped walking and Alex's footsteps fell short too. He stared down at the black leash, digging into both his and Tommy's legs. Alex wrapped his arm around Tommy's waist to stabalize his balance before clearing his throat and uttering, "Uh, Babe, you need to stop." But Babe didn't seem to be going anywhere. He sat down in front of them and looked as though he was smiling.

Her breath hitched one his arm wrapped around her waist, his big hand laying on her delicate hip. Her face reddened and she nearly squirmed, but was too tightly bound to do so. Babe didn't move. Her breaths finally went even at the small surprise. Tommy's arm rose up and her hand held onto Alex's shoulder as she felt herself start to tip over. She groaned as she tried to pull at the leash, but Babe wouldn't budge.

Alex appreciated the closeness, he smiled down at Tommy to show it. If they weren't so unsteady he would have kissed her but instead he just thought about it. After another moment to regain balance he lifted a foot, doing his best to step over the leach binding them together. He got one foot out then detached himself from Tommy so he could bend down and guide Babe around their legs.

"Okay," he said now that they were free from Babe's grasp, "now Babe, behave." The order would probably be futile, the dog didn't understand English and even if he did he wouldn't listen.

She enjoyed the closeness, but her sensitivity to touch tainted it slightly, but it still felt right with his hand on her. His hand slipped off of her, and he helped get Babe off of them both. She smiled, and let out a laugh at her boyfriend's cute actions towards Babe. Her hand found its way back to his, and she started to walk to the tour van, and Babe didn't cause any interruptions. "Ten steps in, wow, Babe, such good behavior." She mocked playfully with another laugh.

Alex was surprised that Babe had listened and he raised his eyebrows to show it. "Wow, I'm like the dog whisperer," he joked, grinning at his girlfriend. "How often do you get him to act this good, huh?" He ended the joke with a gentle (very gentle) jab at her ribs using his free hand.

She let out a laugh at his cheesy joke, and let out a squeal at the jab of her ribs. She was ticklish there, too. And sensitive, but more ticklish than that. Her face reddened at her laughter. "Yeah, yeah," she sighed, mock exasperation. "Whatever." Tommy added, letting out a giggle at the amused smile on his face. She squeezed his hand at an attempt of payback as she opened the door, Babe rushing inside, making Tommy let go of the leash, leaving her stumbling, and hopping on the couch like he was born there. She shuffled as she tried to catch her balance, eyes wide at the sudden movements.

Alex saw Tommy stumble and he grabbed her elbow, his other hand poised to catch her if she didn't regain balance. "So much for a well behaving dog," he mumbled, peeling his eyes away from Tommy's shocked face to look at Babe. He loosened his grip on her arm once he was sure she wouldn't fall over. "What you need is a good dog," he said the words louder as though Babe would hear them and understand.

She caught her breath, a wry smile crawling over her lips. She laughed at Alex. The tightened grip on her arm almost made her yodel, but she was fine, and her hand slipped back into his as she walked inside, sitting herself on the couch. Babe crawled over her to lay on Alex's lap. Babe gave a guilty face and let out a whimper tilting his head back to lick his hand. Tommy laughed.

"It's like you're human," grumbled Alex, staring down at the dog in his lap. His thumb idly rubbed the back of Tommy's hand, never staying in one place too long in case it hurt her sensitive skin. His other hand he laid down on top of Babe, scratching the loose skin on his back.

"What are we gonna do with him? Have you decided to let a friend petsit him or send him to a kennel?"

She sighed out another chuckle at the both of them. She leant back on the couch, her small hand still in his. Tommy chewed her lip, eyes glazing around as if she was looking for an exact answer to tell him. Her tongue flicked over her lips before she spoke. "I'd rather send him to a kennel. My friends are going to be in Mexico this summer." Tommy said, her hand giving his a gentle squeeze.

Alex nodded, keeping his eyes on the dog. He seemed to have been enjoying his back rub but he flipped over after deciding he wanted a belly rub too. Alex obliged.

"We'll have to go there soon then. There's probably paper work to fill out and what not," he said, starting to tap his feet. "And then from there we can pick up the rest of the band."

Her eyes went onto Babe for a brief second, watching him pant at Alex's actions. She covered her mouth to suppress a slightly obnoxious-sounding giggle. Tommy, unfortunately, let go of Alex's hand since her palms were starting to sweat. Playing it off casually, she reached over and patted the lazy dog's head. Babe just panted, and wagged his tail, his mouth forming a doggy smile. "Sounds like a plan." She stated either a smile as Babe stretched out, wagging beginning to stop as he laid onto both of their laps, closing his chestnut brown eyes and beginning to sleep.

"Oh, please don't," he mumbled, staring down at the sleeping dog. Now he'd feel bad if he moved and woke the dog up. "You'll have a ton of time to sleep when your mother and I are rocking out and kissing in all the states." He rolled his head to the sick to look at Tommy and with a boyish grin he added, "Isn't that right?"

She was leant up against Alex, her legs up on the couch. Her eyes were a bit droopy, she was falling asleep along with her dog. Her eyes perked up when she looked up at him. Tommy chuckled and nodded. "Yup." Said girl stated, pressing a kiss on his jaw, sitting up a bit so she could do so. She leant back against him, and held onto his arm.

Sometimes Alex wished that his girlfriend spoke more, he thought it was so much work to be the only one making conversation, but then he remembered that Tommy wouldn't really be Tommy if she spoke non stop. Just like how she wouldn't be herself if she wasn't so sensitive. At first this stuff had really bothered Alex but he had gotten used to it and then he had fallen in love with it.

"Ok, you can't fall asleep too, we have to go soon. Let's go now to take Babe to the kennel and then we can go pick everyone up and be on our way."

She sat up, her grasp slipping from his arm, but her touch lingered. The van hummed to a stop at a nearby kennel. She silently clipped Babe's leash back onto his leather collar, and he woke up slowly. He bounded onto the floor. "Sorry," she apologized with a sheepish, awkward smile. "Driving makes me fall asleep." Tommy said, and stood to her feet, bending down to pick of the leash so Babe would stand by. She looked back, waiting for Alex to come.

Alex hopped out of the van and locked it before jogging to Tommy's side. He took her hand as they walked to the kennel's front doors. They got the paperwork and Alex waited patiently for Tommy to fill it out.

Tommy smiled at the lady as she handed her the papers so she'd seemed the least bit social. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she saw her stare at the minimalist tattoos along her hand and collarbone. She took the pen, and as she filled out the papers, she couldn't help but see that the girl was staring at Alex. She fished out some money from her pockets, and paid for the first month he'd stay here. Tommy handed her the papers with a slightly cocked brow, and asked where she should put Babe. The lady walked back from the counter, and took the leash from Tommy's hands.

Alex had noticed the girl at the front desk eyeing him as well but he kept his gaze down, staring at Tommy's hand as she wrote. It wasn't until she handed the paper back that he moved, stepping away from the counter. Now it was time for them to say goodbye to Babe and Alex crouched down, hand outstretched to scratch behind Babe's ear. "See ya, Babe," he said with a smile.

Babe jumped onto Alex and licked at his hands, his tail wagging, thumping against his furry sides. He had a doggy smile grazed upon his features. Tommy then turned to the pitbull and pet his head, and Babe did the same thing he did to Alex. She held onto Alex's hand as she walked out, looking back at the lady who was still eyeing Alex. She would've sent a glare, but that would be rude. She looked forward and squeezed his hand gently as they headed for the van.

"You've got a sour look to you now," he noticed, taking in Tommy's features. "What's got you angry?" He ran his thumb over the back of her hand, never staying in one spot too long. "And what can I do to make you feel better?"

Tommy blinked her blue eyes and she looked back at Alex, her hand squeezing his once his thumb ran over the back of her hand gently. Her face burnt and her eyes averted from him. "I didn't like the way she was looking at you." She stated, voice a bit soft, and a bit annoyed. She shrugged at his last remark. "I don't know." Tommy said, and she opened the door to the van, stepping inside, her hand still locked with Alex's.

"What was she like giving me the death glare or something?" he asked, pretending to be oblivious to the girl's admiring gaze. "Was she staring at me like those Pokemon trainers stare at each other before battling? Cause that's just creepy." He shot Tommy a charming smile, clearly proud of his joking.

She sat down on the couch, criscrossing her legs with a light frown, and the corners of her lips twitched as she held back a laugh and a cheeky smile. "No, she wasn't." Tommy said, and her cheeks burned at the sight of his smile. She averted her eyes away. "Let's just drop it." The girl added looking down at her lap, playing with her hands.

"You worry too much," he said reassuringly, hoping that his smile and soft words would put her mind to rest. If Tommy reacted like this every time some girl had eyes for Alex she'd be in a sour mood every time they went out. There was really nothing to worry about either, in the 3 years they'd been together, Alex had barely looked at another girl let alone want to be with another one.

"Okay, so," he said, changing the subject as Tommy requested. He tossed his phone to the girl and as he turned the key to the van he said, "Can you text Brady and tell her that we're on her way."
