Pin Up Pixies [Inactive]

She finished the shower, coming out smelling like vanilla and flowers. She had walked to her room, and got dressed in an outfit she didn't pack. After that, she had put on minimal makeup as usual. Tommy had put the sunglasses she had thought of wearing away, just leaving her in the shorts and maroon shirt that was unbuttoned a bit. She pulled out some black combat boots for later when they both left, but for now, she just brushed her dark, damp hair. Tommy seemed to gravitate to the kitchen, finding Babe and Alex there. "Good morning." She yawned, rubbing her eyes. Babe hopped upward, and scampered around her happily. "What are we gonna do with Babe? I can't leave him here." She asked curiously, and frowned at the thought of Babe being left behind.

"Oh sh*t I forgot about poor Babe," he said, looking down at the happy dog. "We could drop him off at a friend's house," he suggested with a shrug. They couldn't bring Babe of course, the rest of the band would not agree to having the animal in the cramped van with them for more than an hour at a time.

She knelt down to Babe with a small frown, and he licked dog kisses on her her cheek, and part of her neck. She chewed her lower lip once she realized the hickeys were there, and still littered around her neck in purple and red bruises. "Maybe. Or a kennel. Whichever's quicker." She suggested as she pet Babe's head. Tommy made sure not to pet on his back since he was a bit sensitive there.

Alex also noticed the hickeys on her neck and he reached out, pushing on her chin so he could see them more clear. "I'm not even sorry," he said with a laugh and then concentrated again on the dog problem in front of them, "Well, as long as Babe's taken care of, anything will work."

Her chin was tilted upwards. She let out a small laugh, and she playfully pushed his shoulder at his remark. Turning her gaze back to Babe, she nodded aimlessly. "Sure. There's a kennel nearby, anyway." She answered. Standing to her feet, Babe scampered off to his spot on the couch, rebelling against Tommy who had always told him to get off of it. She sat on the tall chair in the kitchen, her legs swinging lightly. "So, where's the first stop of the tour?" She asked curiously.

Alex watched the dog trot off, idly wondering what it would be like. He came to the conclusion that it would be a boring black and white life. He turned back to Tommy and shrugged. "No idea. Brady's driving, she's got the map, as long as she knows where we're going, we should be okay."

She still swung her legs in boredom. "Oh." She stated simply, and now in full understanding. She wondered what it'd all be like on the bus, what the fans would be like, how the concerts would end up. She told herself not to overthink it, because everything would happen eventually, and plus, she liked surprises. Tommy had only liked good surprises, and she could tell that this whole adventure would be fun.

"I'm making eggs and toast, want some?" he asked, cracking two eggs in a frying pan and placing two pieces of bread in the toaster. "Not a very special breakfast for a very special day, but it'll still be good." He crossed the kitchen to the fridge and got the milk, pouring it into a glass which he placed his hand over the opening. He disliked the taste of milk after it's been too oxygenated.

She nodded, and hopped to her feet off of the high chair, sauntering over to the toaster. The toast was golden brown, so she carefully pulled them out since her toaster hadn't always popped up correctly. Placing them down on separate plates, she set them onto the table. "It's fine." Tommy reassured with a smile. Not one of those playful smiles she often gives, but a comforting one.

Alex smiled back and glanced from the plates on the table to the cup in his hand and to the pan on the stove top. He wasn't going to be able to pass the eggs onto the plates and hold his hand over his milk at the same time. With a sad sigh he took his hand from the cup and brought it to his lips quickly, chugging the liquid down.

She stifled a laugh at his seemingly absurd actions to her. He could've just asked for help, it was fine by her. Plus, this was her apartment anyways. And, she'd she be obliged to assist him with that, she was just a helpful person, and enjoyed volunteering. "You can always get another glass, you know." Tommy informed with another chuckle. Said girl gave him another smile of reassurance.

"But that's too much milk," he said, setting his empty glass aside and reaching for the pan. He dished the eggs onto the plates and turned off the stove top before taking a seat with two forks in hand. He handed one to Tommy before eating. There wasn't much on his plate but he still dug in.

Nodding a thank you to Alex, she sat on a high chair, and took a bite of her toast, sprinkling a bit of pepper onto her eggs. She had liked really spicy food, but she never had overdone it so her eggs would come out black and gray. "Alex, you could've just asked for some help. I could've put the eggs on the plates while you had your milk." Tommy answered casually with a shrug, taking a bit of her eggs, the spice never seeming to bother her. Said girl could probably drink a whole bottle of Tabasco sauce if she had some.

"I know, I know," he mumbled, feeling as though he was being scolded by a parent. "I just figured I'd put the eggs out." Alex glanced down at Tommy's plate, eyeing the pepper she had sprinkled on. His own eggs were as natural as they could get. He too liked spicy food, but he was not a big fan of pepper.

She shrugged at him once again with a chuckle as she finished off the rest of her eggs and toast eventually. Sliding off of the chair, landing on her feet. Regaining the smidge of balance lost, she took her plate over to the sink and washed it, setting it on the empty drying rack. Babe ran around with his black leash in his mouth, obviously antsy from not getting a walk for a few days. She laughed and took the leash in her hand, setting it on the counter.

Alex finished his breakfast and followed her suit, washing the plate and putting it on the rack. He had leaned back on the counter as Babe stared up at him as though asking if he'd take him for a walk. Alex lifted a foot and pet him as well as he could. "We still have time to take him for a quick walk."

"Okay." Tommy stated, and she nodded with a laugh, and patted her knees, Babe sprinting over, and sliding across the tile to stop himself. Tommy clipped on the matching leash onto his black leather collar. Said girl walked into her room, slipped on some black Vans, and walked back into the kitchen. She held onto Babe's leash and looked over at Alex. "Coming?" She asked, cocking a dark brow, blue eyes questioning.

"Uh huh," he said, hurrying to the foyer to lace up his black combat boots. Alex held the door open for Tomm. Babe seemed excited, racing between their feet and letting out a happy yip. Alex smiled and once again wondered what it would be like to be a dog.

The actions of Babe had amused her enough to make her laugh, once again. She placed a kiss on Alex's cheek for opening to door for her, and she had stepped out into the hallway, waiting for him, her keys placed in her small hand. "Thank you." Tommy had stated, with a smile gracing her features. She had wondered what it would like to be a dog, but she put that thought away so she wouldn't contemplate the mere meaning of life itself.

"No problem," he replied, chewing on his lip to keep himself from adding on a 'babe' at the end which would just lead to confusion. He followed her into the hallway and checked his phone for the time, waiting for her to lock the door. It was only around 11, that gave them time to walk the dog and come back, figure out where the dog was going to stay, and still leave to get the rest of the band in time.

Clasping the doorknob in her small hands, she swung the door shut, and locked it. In that timeframe, Babe walked around her legs, curling the leash around her. She looked down, and Babe was sitting on the ground and she scoffed with a laugh, untangling herself awkwardly. Tommy started for the elevator, and pressed the button. This time, the doors opened rather quickly. Once they had all stepped inside, she pressed the button to the lobby floor, and then the doors closed, the elevator rolling downward. Tommy turned to look at Alex again, and she saw that he was a bit nervous again, so she moved her hand a bit, and held his hand, lacing her fingers with him, giving a small squeeze of reassurance.

An airy laugh escaped Alex's lips and he grinned sheepishly, embarrassed that he got scared about such a simple thing. He squeezed her hand back, the movement helping distract him from his want to squirm in nervousness. The elevator bell dinged and the doors pushed open and Alex took the lead to step out, suppressing a sigh in relief.

"Thank God it's a nice day," he said as they walked outside into the bright day. The sun glared off of car windows, forcing Alex's eyes into a squint. "I would be so bummed if it were raining."

She smiled, she found his fear adorable in a way. It showed that he didn't try to be manly like most guys who tried to impress girls with 'tough' actions. Tommy had just thought that it was douchebaggery, as she had called it. Alex took the lead as he stepped out, grip still on her, so Tommy and Babe were dragged by the male. Her smile returned as she felt the sun bask against her, and her eyes also squinted. The sun reflecting off of the cars zooming by wasn't helping her sight. She saw bright blue dots pop around as she blinked, the light imprinting temporarily in her vision. "Me too, and Babe also. He shivers." Tommy laughed, Babe circling around her, raveling and unravelling the black leash around her.

Alex squeezed Tommy's hand and started walking, but not before shooting a glance at the van. It looked just like it had looked the day before when he parked it. No one had broken into it, it would have sucked if they took all the expensive equipment in there. It would have ruined the tour. The thought of this made Alex frown but soon he smiled again, remembering that it didn't happen.

"Is it bad for me to be this excited? The band is going places and it's just... Wow, life is great."

She shook her head, her attention being sparked ever since Babe stopped wrapping the leash around her slim legs. His hand squeezed hers again and her face flushed with happiness as she smiled. The little moments between them made her ecstatic. "No, because I'm excited too." Tommy said with a laugh. Babe ran around in circles around them both, and Tommy's feet shuffled as she was pulled closer into Alex. She was forced to so she wouldn't trip.
