Phantasmagoria is a dual role RP where one role is within the real world; and the second is within the realm of dreams: Phantasmagoria. This is built around switching between the real world and Phantasmagoria. Our purpose in this RP is to survive every night in the dream realm, as it draws one back to it with tantalizing grace and themes.

While this has the fantasy tag, I only put this because it would not fit with the realistic tag as much; as it would be modern, but with fantasy elements later on, especially at night or when in Phantasmagoria.

So, @ShadowedSilence and @Little Lozy wanted more information, and I will gladly supply.


The world of Phantasmagoria was first discovered shortly after a man read the controversial book; Phantasmagoria: Depths of Reality, and had a livid dream about the book and it's contents; especially a place called Phantasmagoria. Shortly after many more cases of the newly named "Phantasmagoria Syndrome" the book became banned worldwide, and millions of copies were destroyed; due to the fear that humanity was not ready for such power. The copies that remained were kept in secret, and still lent the secrets of dreams and the fate of the human subconscious to their dear readers, and eventually leading them to the realm of Phantasmagoria every time they sleep. You are one of these book owners, and you have not yet delved into the depths of their own minds; had not yet entered Phantasmagoria.


This is all I can tell for now, as I don't want to tell too much, and then possibly not have this RP lift off.

I was basically wondering things along the lines of - Do these people know each other? How do they come into contact with each other? If something happens to them in one world does it affect the other, etc. But your synopsis is definitely enough to pull me in, and no doubt those questions would be addressed once things got going. So I would love to join, sounds really cool!

It would start, but I don't want to start another RP without enough backing from writers. Needless to say, having an RP without players is pretty dissapointing.
