WoodenZebra I'm tempted to make a Thanatos demigod. While there's never been any demigod of Thanatos, I thought it would be a nice twist. It'd be similar to a Hades demigod, and I'd do my best to structure fitting powers/skills.

He doesn't fear death, he has a understanding that everyone dies at some point in their life. He himself can't wait to die a heroic death, that way he can be in Elysium with Deilia and Xavier.

  Alex was born the second son of Fiona and Hades. The first was a boy named Xavier who was three years older than Alex. Xavier was protective over Alex from the start. Their mother was a rich heiress who would rather party and have flings with men, instead of taking care of the two boys. She hired a nanny that practically raised them, though most of the time Xavier was caring for his baby brother.
  
  When the two were older they found about their heritage. When Alex threw a tantrum and caused a small skeleton to pop from the ground made it clear. This caused their scent to become stronger. They did not realize it until one of the maids turned into a Sphinx. Thinking quick the two brothers made a run for it. Alex was four and homeless with only his brother to depend on.
  
  Upon their travels they found out who their father was, mostly from the monsters that called them Sons of Hades. Alex carried resentment toward his father and for his blood causing them despair. They soon met a Daughter of Persephone named Delila and soon became a makeshift family. That was until the Chimera, then everything changed.
  
  The now seven year old Alex and his family were camped out near the Hudson. They were all about to pack up and head on when a Chimera showed itself. Deilia fell first from a poison bite from the snake head. Alex was frozen in fear and didn't know what to do, they couldn't run this time.
  
  The lion head saw Alex as a good target and lunged for him. Xavier jumped in front of him causing his death. Alex stood there covered in his brother's blood, his eyes wide and unfocused. He knew death was near, he could hear the God whispering in his ear. That's when the monster dissolved into golden dust. Hades stood in front of Alex and offered him his hand. Alex shakily took it and the two shadow traveled to the Underworld.
  
  He spent a few days in his new room before he started to wonder. He stumbled upon his father's throne room and eavesdropped on his step mother and father. Hades mentioned a camp he waned to send Alex to. Alex could only feel a mix of anger and sadness that his brother and Deilia couldn't make it to the camp with him.
  
  At age eight Alex was claimed at the campfire by Hades. The once happy boy who had to grow up way too fast would become his father's general. He traveled doing jobs for Hades and went on several quests. His destiny was to stand by his father's side.
