Bu miss... I nawt allowed tew am i...?" Marth asked, stomach growling like a angry dog yet again. "I on a jawb or else why am i nawt with The Mistress of house?" He said to himself, trying to confirm it. "I can't eat drunk, or wash unless awwoud to. If Mistress said, i can." He responded as he blinked drowsily. It was obvious he only slept for a hour or less much less drink or eat as his voice sounded rough. His breathing was rugged, breath dry. He looked at the water bowl and shied away. "I dun wike waater..." The tyke admitted as he backed away. Eventually he scurried away into the bushes and out of sight.

What luck. Here Marth was, in a cave, and lost. Luckily, he found some glowing mushrooms. "Whaw!" He exclaimed, poking a few unlit ones, only for them to light up. It was warmer in the cave, water dripping and leaking on the walls. Sure, he disliked his bare feet getting wet but he hadn't gotten his hair wet. Or his ragged clothes. He ventured further into the cave of glowing shrooms as he would call it until he found a sleeping form in a corner. Cautiously going towards it *By stepping in every puddle mind you* He eventually poked it's ear.

As the beast stirred, mushrooms lit up to illuminate the once dark beast, showing an almost wagon sized Liger! It growled at Marth, causing him to shrink back before it licked his whole body. The kid looked shocked. "Eeewie!" Marth whined. In turn the liger put the young child in between it's massive legs and started to gingerly lick him on the head like a cub. Three small cubs squeaked behind the Liger while a tiger padded into the corner. It layed down by the cubs, allowing them to suckle leaving poor Marth to get licked on the head, a crunching noise being heard as the female tiger ate, making it seem as though Marth was dead. Good news:He's not dead. Bad news:He's being held like a cub by a giant Liger.

(Aaaah. Adventures of Marthy. =3)

Benton returned in time to hear the boy talking about his predicament. " Boy you are far away from the mistress of the house. If you want to eat, eat. If you want to wash yourself do so. You are free to do those basic things. " Benton said with a smile. At this point the others had already seen his face and it's.... odd appearance. He managed to explain it away as that he was attacked by monsters long ago and the only way he could save his save was to stitch his face back together. How much the others believed that he didn't now.

Draena Kabria

Location: About a day away from Rosalea in the forest.

Time: Afternoon

Activity: Watching, then running

Interaction: @Kayzo
@Quark

Draena had remained mostly silent for those three days, getting a feel for the other members of the "prophecy" he had been told he was part of. Integrating into this group properly was going to be essential, but he could easily play his silence off as simply recovering from the fact that monsters had invaded the city so easily. When the group took a break for the time being he stayed at his post alongside the wagon. They were only about another day of travel away from Rosalea, and he could definitely sense them getting closer to the city that nobody ever returned from.

As people began to break formation and wander about to enjoy their break Draena noticed the strange man "Benton" wandered off away from the group but returned shortly after. He decided to shrug it off, everyone had their secrets and it likely had something to do with the stitches along his face from surviving a predicament with some monsters. Perhaps some routine cleaning of the stitches or something that he didn't think the child needed to see.

The youngest member, Marth was going to be troublesome for Draena to reign in as he was not the best with people who couldn't accept things at face value and follow orders without question. Not that it was anything against the poor child, but he was simply that, a child. The others seemed to be willing to help him so Draena decided to leave it up to them while he looked after the group as a whole.

The two teenagers left to fill some waterskins, which Draena appreciated. Helping out even at a young age was something he admired about them. When the boy, Emiyn, turned back to the woods and said he was looking to try and catch something Draena could not help but crack a smile. But then it dawned upon him that the forest was not a safe place for the child to go alone, especially if trying to find food. There was one other person Draena felt he might be able to trust to look after the group, and that was the female guard Yuki. "
Yuki! Keep guard over the group. I'm going with Emiyn." Draena called out as he set out at a brisk pace to catch up with the boy. Even as he ran, Draena managed to keep his regal and commanding posture, appearing to be unhindered by the roots and branches in his way.

Kurio Palmonius

Location: About a day away from Rosalea in the forest.

Time: Afternoon

Activity: Perching, then talking with Erika.

Interaction:

Kurio had kept himself separated from the group while they traveled. He told them it was so he could keep an eye out for monsters while he walked through the forest, but in reality he did not need them to find out about his psychosis. Keeping to himself while they traveled he counted, and recounted several times his darts to make sure he did not lose them.

As the group settled at for their break Kurio decided to climb a tree so that he could remain there, yet still separate enough. Below him he heard his name mentioned, and saw the girl Erika was talking about curses. Once Emiyn turned towards the woods Kurio dropped down from his tree a few feet from Erika, and tucked into a roll. Still crouching on the ground he smiled up at her, not saying anything for a moment while he tried to remember how social interactions worked. "
H-hi there Erika...I don't mean to drop in on you..." He chuckled for a moment, realizing his pun. "But you wanted to talk?" Kurio cocked his head as he asked the question, much like a dog does when confused.

Erika didn't need to give much of a worried look towards Emiyn. For some reason, since about a day ago there were no encounters with any monsters, nor even bandits. It was a good thing, especially since she had thought that some of the formations of the land were ideal for ambush. She had just placed the waterskins away, before she heard a rustle of trees (too loud to be just a bird, in fact) and her head turned. The figure was of an adult and he rolled on the ground before getting up in a rather fluid sequence of actions. Her eyes sparkled a little as if she was at a circus. "That was so cool," the tomboyish girl breathed out in mild awe, while walking up to him. He came just at the right timing. She grinned lightly at his joke. From the last few days, she had the impression that he was someone who would be reliable, though perhaps a bit shy. "Yeah," she nodded, while glancing a little towards the wagon, where she last saw Marth sleeping. "I was wondering whether you could tell what is ... " she was silent for a moment, struggling to find the right words." Marth's condition? Emi and I have noticed that some of he... has cat-like instincts. He has cat ears as well. He... likes fish as well." she said, while pointing at the top of the head imitating the shape of the ears. "He's clearly not a monster, nor just an animal... is there such a curse that could turn a human like this?"

Benton patted Martha on the head and decor to check on the girlfriend of the very large man he now knew was called Gerratt. He has noticed she had some stitching done and he wanted to check on the progress of her healing. Possibly see a out taking them out.

Thinking that he saw her go into the woods Benton walked through the woods looking for her only to find the boy... Emiyn Benton thought his name was stalk and kill two rabbits. Being surprisingly stealthy for a man held together by stitching Benton bent down said, " Looks like we have the beginnings of dinner. Need some help with getting more?"

Refara
The long white haired girl with the violet eyes was still sleeping. In fact she had rarely arisen for more than an hour or two over the past 3 days, sleeping in the very corner of the wagon, usually with her head nestled in Garrett's lap like a make-shift pillow. He only left her side to get water or food or sling an arm around her to shuffle her along. The stitches were practically not needed now and the exhaustion mostly due to a loss of blood. Despite everything that had happened Refara had mostly spent her waking moments smiling and laughing with Yuki about crazy antics as kids. She knew her sister felt guilty for the Priestess and in a way she also felt guilty for maybe delaying the group to the top of the tower. Wishing she had been quicker, more responsive towards the fight to allow them through faster. But her guilt was not the problem, nor the pain of her recovery. She was more focused on Yuki then herself, just as Garrett was focused in on her.

Rubbing her tired eyes the girl sat up with a yawn, one eye sliding open then the other as she peered to Garrett who as always was within a metre of her. "Mmm... Garry why are you here? Aren't you hungry or thirsty? Why don't you stretch your legs?" Her eyes still at odd angles as she took another yawn.

Senki Tazuya

Senki was really happy, Yuki and her had actually gotten together. Sure, it wasn't exactly anything very serious, but it had happened. She just wished it had been under happier circumstances than her comforting her for the loss of a friend. She felt bad for Yuki, the Priestess was obviously very close to her, that much was obvious even before they talked about her. Luckily though, she seemed to be doing better. Or at-least, far better than she had when it occurred. The Priestess was important sure enough, but for Senki the fact that the rest had made it out was all that mattered to her; especially Yuki. Nevertheless as their conversation went on she slowly woke up. She yawned as her eyes opened only to see Refara and Garret looking like they were about to have some fun in the back of the carriage, or at-least Refara did. Garret..Garret looked like he was about to die. "Well. Good morning to you both." She told them, an amused smirk on her face. She then inclined her head towards Yuki, a genuine smile on her face. "Morning to you too. Did you sleep well?" She asked.

Yuki gave her sister a questionable look as she was told to chill out. All she did was say good morning in a pretty relaxed way, not some military wake up call. "I need to chill more? Was I not being chill? All I did was greet you in what I thought was being rather chill." She said, watching her sister straddle her boyfriend and get a little intimate with him. Her eyes quickly looked away in case any clothes started to et removed. Although she was showing a little PDA of her own, it was nothing compared to what her sister did. Fortunately around the same time those two began to get it on Senki woke up and began talking to her. Yuki turned her head to look at Senki, smiling slightly as she did. "Yes, my sleep was nice, best sleep I've had in a few days. However I'd prefer to sleep in an actual bed rather than this wagon." She said, sighing and taking her hand.

"And yeah, I'd like an actual bed too. This wagon sucks." She added before sighing. She then glanced back over to Refara and Garrett. "Wanna go for a walk or something? Give these two some privacy?" She asked. To her it legitamately looked like they might be about to have some 'fun' in front of them.

Jess shook her head. "My father wrote to me once about a band of cursed people with animal features. He described them as 'as diverse as the animal kingdom here' and that one of them even had antlers like a large stag." She stroked Marth's hair gently and Lux, who was seated on her shoulder, purred at Jess's affection for the small child. "He also said they were benevolent, kind-hearted, and peaceful, save for one among their number with giant claws and tiger striped skin who had tried to attack them. The band told father how they were Cursed but I don't remember exactly how or why. It's probably still in my satchel." She felt Lux nuzzle her neck comfortingly, sensing that Jess was missing her Father. The girl felt her left hand move to her ring on her right hand and fiddle with it for a moment before she sighed. "I don't know who would curse the poor child, he seems so gentle and kind." There was a soft croon from behind Jess, and Armyn approached the cart, sniffing in concern. The Griffin raised her head and let out a loud screech and ran off in the direction of Marth's scent. "Oh my gods." Jess said, smiling softly. "There are beasts in this world that may be a gift instead of a blight upon humanity."

Armyn approached the cave and gave a loud squawk to Marth, sounding very much like a mother Calling her own child.

Jess looked around for Ned, and she didn't spot him right away, which worried her. She and Ned had grown closer over the past 3 days, and Jess was developing a small affection for him that was slowly growing.

The falcon's talons tore at the rabbis' neck and the two animals soon stopped moving. Emiyn walked towards them, and heard an old man's voice. He immediately whipped his head around. And just for the split moment there was a glint of wariness in his eyes. The young prince had trusted his instincts, and there was something odd and not good about the man with so many stitches. He couldn't put his finger on what it is. "Maybe," he said, as he pickedup the two rabbits. There was only a thin red line at their necks, the rest was clean. "We're going to reach the city soon anyway, aren't we?"

He shrugged a little, while looking around. "Is it just me or this forest seems... rather empty?" He wasn't referring to the lack of animals, but more so that they hadn't even encountered anything dangerous at all. No monsters. No bandits or traps.

Benton chuckled at the boy's reactions and took a few steps back before answering, " Just because we're almost to the city doesn't mean we shouldn't have a contingency prepared. Personally I don't like the food prepared for you within cities. I much prefer food I've hunted and killed myself. Much like those rabbits." Benton said before taking a look around the forest noticing the quiet, " You know.... now that you mention it I don't like this silence. You'd think we would have run into some bandits or especially monsters on the way. Bandits would be more common around these parts, but I haven seen a single camp fire besides hours in days..... it's rather odd..." Benton said putting his gloved hand to his chin falling into deep thought.

While part of his mind was thinking on the lack of any real threats as of yet His mind was also focused on keeping his secret safe for as long as he could. He had left most of his belongings, except for a hunting knife, a needle, and some metal stitching which he kept on his person at all times, on the cart. He had a few compromising things among his belongings such as his journal highlighting his magic circles and his journey into immortality as well as the few dark crystals he had managed to make since joining this motley crew of adventurers. He needed to make sure those crystals were kept under lock and key. Those things were more important to him than any amount of flesh at this point.

The cute killer took another decidedly huge yawn and come to a kneel before Garrett, stretching her arms high into the sky as she arched her chest fully forward (and right into poor Garry's face), hearing a creak and groan and crack as a few vertebra clicked back into place. As her muscles seemed to soften, she noticed Garry's gaze drifting to the side, not realising it was shyness. Then she turned to Yuki as she addressed her. "Yello Sis... why so formal all the time? You really need to ta chill...." a half grin working in on her face before she started her usual habit of pinching, playing and absentmindedly yanking her shirt around like the very fibres of clothing annoyed her. Then hearing a trailing voice from Garrett, a absolutely chilling and devious smirk worked it's way onto her face as she swung a long leg around his thigh and in an instant had straddled his waist, looping her arms around his neck gently. She even tilted her head in a cute manner while her grin was anything but innocent. "Aww...Well-.. is there anything little reffy can help you with?" Even leaning her face in with lips all puckered.

Garrett Bolton If Garrett's face was red before it went positively crimson as Refara began to straddle him. You'd think, given how much this happened, that the man would have built up a tolerance or something but alas, he hadn't. Due to this, his brain began to lock up and only some vaguely incoherent stuttering came out. Well, normally he'd be able to talk well enough it's just that he was quite tired which was already causing his brain to not fully function. The reason he was tired was because he hadn't been sleeping much over the trip on account that he had been looking after Refara. Sure, she was much better but he still worried about her after all.
Garrett Bolton

He came to his senses somewhat as Yuki and Senki got up to go take a walk, finally galvanizing himself into action. He reached up and lifted Refara off of him, spinning her around and setting her on his lap while hugging her. Originally this was to try to restrain her from going any further while she was still recovering but he quickly realized what it looked like. Thus began a fierce mental struggle within the man. Does he let her go so as not to be indecent but allow her free reign once more? Or does he hold on, deeming it to be the lesser of the two evils?

Emiyn wasn't sure what to say other than look at the old man, not understanding why he was a little picky about whether the food was hunted or not. Maybe it's because he's old, he thought. Likewise he looked around, his eyes moving much faster than the elderly man. He couldn't help but feel that something was watching him. Whether it was one or many he wasn't sure.

"A single camp?" Emiyn thought back to what he had heard back at Iaftern a few days ago. "But not many people would want to come here... especially when people haven't been returning recently." He left the question unspoken, though clearly one couldn't help but wonder what it was that what had happened to everyone that traveled to Roselea. His fingers felt cold, but it didn't look like now was the time to back out, not after they have travelled so far already. "Since it might be dangerous, would it be better that we move soon?"

Jess stumbled forward when Ned ran into her and she laughed, turning around. "Ned!" She said, looking at him and shaking her head with a grin. She held out her hand to him to help him up. "You really need to be more careful."

Lux slid down Jess's arm and jumped off of her hand, landing on Ned's forehead with a squeak. He licked the boy's forehead then booped Ned's nose with his paw before jumping off and scampering back onto Jess's shoulder. Jess smiled at Lux's show of playful affection, her hand still outstretched to Ned. "C'mon, get up."

Armyn looked at the Liger and the small boy with a cocked head, then gave a soft croon and walked over to Marth. She nuzzled the boy then left the cave and returned to Jess and Ned, keeping her distance from the two. @GoldenChari

Ned smiled. "I need to be more careful? You ran into me." He said mocking her. He took her hand and pulled himself up blushing a bit. "I heard Armyn screech and..." He didn't know if he wanted to finish that sentence. He ran to her because he thought she was in trouble. He ran to her because he was worried. How could he just up and tell her that, after all they had talked about. She knew he wanted to go off alone and defend the world himself. She knew he was willing to give his life to save everyone else. Only she knew, and that made him worry. He was worried she would try to follow him to his death. He could not risk her dying. Not because she was a person, but because he liked her. He blushed deeper red trying to focus on anything else. 'I finally admitted it to myself.' He thought. 'I like her. She is everything my mother told me she was, and she is a special person. She is special to me.' He thought not able to wipe the smile off his face. As Lux came over to boop him he laughed and smiled. He was so cute when he played. Ned wondered if he could sense the connection between them. If Lux could tell that he liked her, or if she liked him. @sitanomoto

Jess listened to Ned's words and she blushed as well. "You.... Thought I was in trouble..." She said, finishing his sentence for him. She looked at her boots with a smile, not knowing what else to do. Oh my gods, Jess. Way to go. Standing here like a total awkward idiot in front of him. Greeeeat. She thought. She tried to say something in reply but all she could do was stammer. Wonderful. Stammering. Sure to win his heart. Jess in the end just closed her mouth, knowing nothing intelligent would come out at the moment.

Lux gave a little growl that sounded like a laugh (which only made the warrior girl blush more) and he purred, rubbing his head against the skin of her neck like a cat.

Ned laughed a bit taking her hand. "Are you okay?" He asked blushing again. He suddenly felt like it was just them, and nothing was wrong in the world. 'Well them and Lux of course.' He thought looking to the dragon. He smiled softly seeing if maybe Lux could help him out. 'Does he like me enough to try and help me?' He thought as he took her hand and brought it to her head, using the back of his to press against her forehead. "You feel a bit hot. Are you sure you arn't coming down with something?" He said smoothly smiling as he lifted her head to see the blush. She was so cute it just made him happier. 'Why can't I stop thinking about her? I need to so I don't have to worry about my mission.' He looked to the sky a bit. 'But would mother be proud of me for giving up a friend to go save the word?' He thought smiled. "No she wouldn't." He said looking back into Jess's eyes and smiling. "So beautiful." He said thinking he only thought it.

Marth didn't move. This creature scared him to say the least. 'Is this from the mistress? Am i going to be punished?' He didn't let a single noise escape him. He pretended to be dead besides himself breathing. He didn't know it was the water girl's pet or it was even with the group!
