Part I - The blood-dimmed tide

Refara Illinara
Market Square

Reffy blinked as her sister piped up about wanting to get those red underwear with bows on the side, to which the girl put a hand behind her head and made an almost shy giggle. "Weeeelllll you see... I would totally do that Sis buuutt... On that particular occasion Garrett was trying his hand at some short sword throwing, you know, circus style, and would you believe he threw it just as I walked in? Bloody man was a perfect shot and stabbed the left bow right into the wall behind me and the whole thing tore off!" Patting Garrett's head as she said this. "Looks like you can do more with your hands then just punch people, eh Gary?" A tiny smirk working into the corner of her mouth. "Maybe next time I'll dangle a pair of panties in my mouth and we'll see if your still as good a shot?" Giggling loudly. Then the Griffon girl suggested a Fairyfloss store and 'adult' store down the way and Refara nodded enthuastically to both. "Yes, yes! Fairyfloss and lollies! Thank you lady!" Waving excited. That was when Garrett did his tactical retreat, but Refara still half spun on his back and shouted to Yuki, not quietly either.... Rather loudly.

"Yuki! Come with! And bring your Gifriend with you!! We'll get some lollies and then your Girlfriend and I can search this 'adult' store for a new pair of panties for you!!! I'm sure she'll pick the cutest pair! Our treat!" Winking to Senki.

@Kayzo @Mitchs98 @Painted Puzzle @Dkingow [/side]

Garrett's already red face goes even redder as Refara recounts that unfortunate... incident... regarding his sword throwing and Yuki's undergarments. The only saving grace in this was that she didn't mention what she did after her panties were taken off, and he wasn't about to open his mouth to remind her either. Some things were better left unsaid after all. He jumps slightly at her suggestion, his eyes widening at the mental picture. "L-let's not do that please..." he responds, only to be drowned out as Refara turns, her thighs tightening slightly around his head once more, to shout at her sister... about shopping for more undergarments. In this moment Garrett realizes that he is in a life-or-death situation. There is no way he can survive going into an adult store, especially not with Refara. He can already imagine her getting excited, like a kid in a candy shop but infinitely more lewd, and forcing him to watch as she tries on increasingly skimpy outfits. He wouldn't put it past her to drag him into a changing room for some "fun" either, a thought that makes him shudder slightly despite himself. Either way, his course of action is set. He must not, under any circumstances, enter that store. He's so absorbed in these thoughts that he doesn't even hear Yuki's response really, just kind of tunes it out.

It was now late afternoon, approaching the early twilight. Within the outer city of Iafern and the surrounding fields, the look had turned much more grimmer appearance. It would soon be the prime time for even more monsters to be lurking around. In the very markets, though the busy city always had a handful of people out at night, there were many who had begun to already close shop, to head home to lock their doors.

The atmosphere within the tower had continued to worsen since the rumoured omen (the griffin) had arrived. The person who had gone up to the upper part of the tower to call the guards, where had they gone? The guards still had never came down. There was a short moment of silence, before the tower from the Markets and the nearby offices had resonated through the air. The last light from the sun had dipped below the trees in the west, and the city was almost enveloped in darkness.

Iafern was a city that had the light from the top of the tower providing a majority of the light during the night. Yet tonight, it was as if the light had been snuffed out. Whatever had happened, they weren't able to find out soon, as there was a sudden screech from a top and a yell. There was a sound of a nasty crunch, before the door from the top burst open. From the spiral staircase, flooded in many... pixies. Pixies that were friendly is mere fiction. These had crowns of thorns on their heads, and their faces were eyeing the humans with malicious intent. The soft glow of their wings gave a soft golden light along the white walls of the tower as they charged towards the group, with the tiny swords in their hands. One would be like a small needle pricking one's finger. But with many of these...

Meanwhile outside there were soft vibrations along the ground, and had anybody came out, they would have found many pairs of red eyes gleaming in the dark. Marching into the main hallway of the tower, were a group of goblins. Of different sizes and with different weapons. As they entered, some of the pixies merely gave a small irritated screech, but didn't seem the least bothered as these gobins readied their weapons, as if they had intended to raid the tower.

Emiyn was one of the people who were looking at the tower of the Sun, after waiting for quite a while with his friend Haruko. This time, however, he wasn't as frantic, with the time he could use in thinking things through. The clock in the market chimed as the last few stalls were completely taken down. The sun had completely sunk below the rootops and the forest beyond. And the city was darker than any of the night he had ever experienced. Emiyn's eyes wandered towards the tower again. It was night time, yet the light from the top of the tower was much, much dimmer than any of the nights he had ever seen in Iafern.

His face was calm, and his mind was racing through, in recalling about the rumours he had heard earlier in the afternoon about what had happened in the temple. Clenching his teeth, he got up from where he was. "I need to go check that," he said to Haruko with an oddly firmer voice as he turned towards the shop where the boy (@GoldenChari) was. The boy was well-looked after, for now there were more pressing matters.

Within the next second, he held out onto his grimoire and raced towards an alley, a shortcut that he had found towards the tower.

The rest of the journey had been uneventful, nothing but the same wood scenery passing them by. There was almost a look of relief on Erika's young face. She was beginning to think that they would not be able to reach the city in time before the gates are shut.

"Thanks for guiding me here, mister." she said as they approached the bottom of the gate. The guard merely gave a nod, gesturing for the young girl and the strange monk to hurry in, as it was very soon for the door to be closed. By now, the sky was a molten golden colour, but Erika was more confused as to why there were hardly any street lamps. Walking a little further, she noticed that people were closing their windows. "Hm... this neighbourhood seems to be really bothered about something, don't they, mister?" she said, at the last instance of almost making eye contact with another girl of her age who was in her home.

Haruko Kiyama: Market Square > Heading to Sun Tower

Haruko had stayed with Emiyn for quite some time making sure Marth would be alright. In all actuality he was worried for the boy, even if he didn't know his name or anything else. It saddened him to think such a young child had gotten that hurt. Though the question was still from what? What had caused it? He had seen no monsters, no anything. Just an injured Marth staggering up to them. Luckily he and Emiyn were around, or the boy would of likely died.

Haruko too had noticed the Sun Tower being fairly dim, far dimmer than he'd ever seen. Something was up, he wasn't exactly sure what but he knew that much. Emiyn seemed to think the same as he spoke of going to check on it. "
I'm coming with you." He told him without a second thought before following him. He lived in Iafern to, if something was seriously wrong he needed to help. Besides what kind of friend would he be if he just let him go alone and potentionally get killed or severely injured? Not a very good one, that was for sure.

He was still covered in blood, but that was an issue to be dealt with later. "
What do you think the problem is?" He asked as they reached the alley, impressed Emiyn was learning the shortcuts in the city. "Take a left down the street up here, faster." He told him plainly.

Though Emiyn said nothing while their figures were swallowed by the shadows of the alleyway, he was glad that Haruko was coming with him. There was just some forbodding feeling that the young boy couldn't shake off. Given the instruction to take the left turn up ahead, he gave no response as he did exactly what his elder friend had said. "I do not know..." Emiyn's more formal tone that he usually uses in the castle had returned even though he was speaking softly to keep relatively quiet. "The high priestess, Amir, is there every night to keep the tower lighted up. Something either is happening to the magic seal, or she's in great trouble. "he said, the former referring to a large seal in the centre of the top-most hall. It had been remaining there for many years. Prince Emiyn was one of the few who had seen the Priestess stand at the edge of the circle, as the power of the God of the Sun had always channeled the orb of the light. It was the only case where the seal didn't require magic gems.

There was a short flight of steps and they reached an intersection. And Emiyn gestured quickly forwards then to the right, asking Haruko silently whether that would be the correct path. At this moment, it was one prince and one noble, just two anxious boys heading to see what was the trouble.

Gautama walked beside Erika with an ever calm look on his face, " Monsters of all kinds move during the night, and it would seem that this night is going to be an especially dark one." Gautama said looking up at the tower of the sun to see how dim it had become. " And my name is Gautama not mister Erika. " as he said that he scanned the neighborhood for any thing strange. " I think we should hurry to the tower before night falls. We won't want to be caught out in the street tonight." Gautama said picking up his pace. He didn't like this feeling he was getting from this place.

Katherine rode through town as the sun set. She had not been in Iafern in some time, and for a moment couldn't place what was wrong. Then she realized that the town was getting darker then it is ever safe for a city to be nowadays. She looked to the tower at the heart of the city but there was little to no light coming from it. She patted her horse Shirvan, and moved him into a gallop towards the city center. She reached the edge of the courtyard surrounding the tower, and told Shirvan to stay next to the wall. She walked to the wall of the building and leaned against it looking towards the Tower.

Haruko nodded as Emiyn explained what was potentionally wrong. He hoped it was just something wrong with the seal and that the High Priestess was alright. The seal being messed with sounded a lot less bad than Amir being injured, or worse, killed. "I see..let's just hope she's alright. Maybe she just fell asleep or something." He replied, shrugging lightly. What? It was possible. Soon they reached and intersection and Emiyn paused, silently asking Haruko which path to take. If they went to the right they'd just end up back in the main section of the square. "Keep heading straight, c'mon." He told him, running ahead of him and down the forward path. A few twists and turns later and they were almost to the Tower. Though, Haruko halted his running and stared as he heard unholy shrieking and saw red eyes ever so often. The hell? "Emiyn, the hell is that noise?" He asked. Either they were a safe enough distance away from whatever was shrieking, or it hadn't noticed them yet.

Ned was with Jess just finishing up eating. "We should go see how the little dragon is doing with the griffin." He suggested as they left. He noticed it was darker then normal and thought he heard some strange sounds. He looked to see everyone boarding up and closing their doors. "What is going on?" He said out loud as he felt a tremble. He looked down towards the tower and noticed a lot of little lights along all the windows. "Something is wrong." He said looking at Jess. "I have to check it out. This could be the sign I have been waiting for." With that he took off running, drawing his sword as he got closer to the tower.

Marth noticed the two people leaving so he got up and followed. It hurt but honestly he'd delt with worse. Unfortunately, he was clumsy and knocked somethings down, causing noise. "Eep!" He cried, a pot falling on his head, others clattering on the ground behind the two people who'd saved him.

Jess took a big bite of her meal, put a tip down on the table, and sprinted down an alleyway. When she came out, she was in her armor, a sturdy but light metal that gleamed, maybe even glowed, in the moonlight. She drew her dagger and ran after Ned. "I really shouldn't be running with this!!!" She yelled for no reason as she followed the tall man. Her eyes were gleaming blue under her hood and she came upon the first pixie swarm. "OH GODS!!" she yelled, ducking under the swarm. They seemed to move as a group much like bees, and she swiped her dagger in the air, slicing several in half. She continued to run after Ned, pausing every now and then to Swipe at the pixies again, having to take more and more swipes because these things continued to get more resilient to dying. Then she ran into the Goblins and decided that she needed her sword. She stopped and put her hand on her dagger and the light from her necklace grew brighter, as did the light from the dagger. The blade began to grow longer, broader, as the handle grew too to fit the shape of her hand. She let out a loud battlecry as she fought, feeling tired from expanding her dagger already but Continuing to stubbornly press on.

Ned had put on some metal gauntlets as he ran up the stairs to the temple. When he made it to the top he saw the pixies and decided to not waste his time with them. He took some swings with his gauntlets to hit any pixies in his way as he ran into the temple door. He managed to take out a few, but some ended up getting on him and taking swipes and bites on him. As he entered the temple and saw a couple goblins, he drew his sword and activated the fire gem in the guard. The blade heated up with fire and had a bright orange glow along the blade as he took a swipe at the first goblin. He managed to deflected the hit but the sparks landed on the goblin as he let out a hellish screech. He heard something behind him and saw Jess run in, extending her dagger. He watched her confused as to how someone could have created something like that. 'It must be magic. If not I will examine that for it's fine craftsmanship.' He thought as he dove away from the next goblins strike.

Garrett was exhausted, despite his best efforts he hadn't been able to stop Refara from dragging him into the store. At first, he had held out well, but when she had shoved his face into her chest there was no chance that he would have been able to keep mounting an effective defense and she had capitalized on this fact, much to his dismay. As he had predicted she had tried many things on for him, none of them even coming close to covering enough skin, and had at one point attempted to pull him into the changing room with her. He was saved by an attendant who noticed and stopped her, earning Garrett's immense gratitude in the process.

They stayed in the shop long enough for it to be dark once they exited, which made the fact that the light on top of the tower was dimmer than usual quite easy to spot for Garrett. He nudges Refara's shoulder and points to it. "Isn't that usually brighter?" he asks, before a grin starts to tug at the corners of his mouth, "We should probably check it out." He's not smiling because there's something wrong, but rather at the thought that someone might have caused it and that he might get to fight that someone. After all, Garrett loves to fight.

Emiyn didn't want to answer. Rather, he honestly didn't want to give himself false hope if the worst had happened. It wasn't like the priestess to have neglected her duties over mere sleep. Forgetting that they were in the dark, he merely nodded while continuing straight down the path that Haruko had pointed out. It was then he heard something of pots shattering, that his footsteps stopped and turned. A small voice had cried out "eep!", and it seemed like it belonged to a child. </p>

Walking back a few steps, Emiyn's eyes widened at recognising Marth."What are you doing here?" he said, hurriedly looking around. It seemed that he had followed the two elder boys all the way, quite stealthily as well. "It's dangerous he-"his voice dropped as a shriek or something sliced the silence air. He turned to Haruko when he had asked the question. "I... don't know." he clenched his teeth, clearly not liking the situation by the second. It would be too dangerous to wander for too long within the streets. "Let's hurry..."he said before holding out his hand to Marth. "Stay close to us, ok?"</p>

From within the shadows about two streets away, a pair of red eyes seemed to have located the three figures moving through the alleyway. From within the darkness, two goblins approached. One had an axe, and the other had an arrow.</p>

Ned took the chance when Lux came in to slice through the air of pixies, lighting many of them on fire. Their screams sounding like bugs as they fell and were replaced by more pixies. "How many of them are there? Where are they coming from?" He yelled looking for any source. They seemed to be appearing out of no where and that was never a good sign. As he examined the area a goblin was rushing Jess during her victory air fist. Time seemed to slow but Ned was able to move. He jumped in front of Jess as a slash came down. It nicked him in the right shoulder before bouncing off him armor, giving it a slash and dent. He screamed a bit as he grabbed the sword in his left and and swung it up beheading the goblin. He looked back to Jess to make sure she was okay. "You good?" he asked blood running down his right arm.

Katherine watched the two fight and kill the pixies and goblins. In another life she would have charged in and killed some herself but that was behind her now. She heard a squawk and a crunch and winced. Her horse on the other hand had no problem kicking a goblin down and stomping on it. Then she saw one of the fighters take a wound and stepped forward. Violence might not be her purview any longer but it's results were. She walked towards them and called out, "Strangers, I am a trained healer and on your side, so let me approach if you would."

Isabella Ridela

Location: Heading back to the Tower of the Sun

Isabella was on her way to the Tower of the Moon when people were yelling and screaming. She turned back to face the chaos when she noticed the light from the Tower of the Sun was dimmer than usual and that it most definitely shouldn't be loosing it's glow. She looked at the other people in the street who were talking about the tower. Now Isabella was very concerned. She reached into her bag and pulled out some gems. She knelt down and laid the gems down before saying a few words. Isabella was summoning a few familiars. As she was summoning she heard people yell that there were goblins and pixies attacking a group of people near the tower. Isabella stood and watched her familiars appear. One was a small lizard like dragon. It was a faded yellow with green leaf looking spikes and pink eyes, his name was Spade. Another was a black dragon with light grey spikes and red eyes, his name was Emris. "Lets go see what's going on." said Isabella to Spade and Emris before heading to the tower. As she got closer she noticed many goblins roaming the streets as they were looking for people to attack. She stopped in the middle of the street and Spade looked up at her. "Spade... go there..." she said as she pointed down an alley. "Emris follow me." she finished as she ran toward the goblins and Spade ran off down the alley. Two goblins noticed Isabella and she ducked as Emris jumped over her and leapt onto one of the goblins. The goblin Emris attacked had a sword and the other one had a couple of spears. Isabella backed up before regaining her composer. The goblin with the spears began to throw them at Isabella and one caught her hood. She broke her fall with her arm and badly bruised it. "Drat.." she said as she pulled on the spear a bit to loosen it for when she would need it.

Isabella watched as the goblin threw more spears catching the hood of her cloak and she watched before loosening the spears. Emris had finished off the goblin he was assigned to. His teeth were bloody and he was filled with bloodlust. He didn't move when Isabella was being attacked and waited. She smirked as Spade jumped out and pounced on the goblin. Isabella then used her strength to pull out the spears and pointed it at the goblin. She was limited to her mobility because she only managed to pull out three of the four spears, but it didn't effect her. Isabella stabbed the gobin with its spear and then pulled on her cloak. It ended up ripping it but she didn't care. Isabella would've used a remedy to heal her arm but she didn't have time to. Isabella whistled, and like dogs, Emris and Spade came by her side. She started to run again to the tower. She was worried for the people there and hoped the people she met from before weren't in harms way. Isabella hadn't dropped the spear she used to kill one of the goblins and now she had a weapon. She didn't pick up the sword from the other goblin before because she knew she had to get out of there. Spade let out a small roar and so did Emris signaling they heard more goblins. Isabella paused and slowed down. "Cover me." she whispered to them and then knelt down to summon more familiars. Spade had her back and the left and Emris had her right and the front. Isabella began to chant word as she was summoning her faries.

It was an interesting group. A girl, two dragons, and soon to join them, faries. Isabella was very capable of controlling her familiars and that was all she needed to stand her ground. She placed a gem down and soon faries began to appear. There were five. Isabella knew she had to use her time wisely with them. "We'll take a back route to the tower, keep quiet, and stay close." Isabella whispered before running down an alley and the faries, along with Emris and Spade, followed.

"Stay close to us, ok?"

From within the shadows about two streets away, a pair of red eyes seemed to have located the three figures moving through the alleyway. From within the darkness, two goblins approached. One had an axe, and the other had an arrow.
{/\/\Marth/\/\}

Marth growled in his throat like a cat as he sniffed the air. "Gobwins..." He murmured. These vile beasts had visited the mansion but rarely, causing trouble for the toddler more then a bunch of drunk dwarves.

Draena Kabria

Location: A main street leading to the tower

Time: Early evening

Activity:Rushing to help civilians

Interaction: @Abberakelaran @Dkingow @sitanomoto

Draena had left his interaction earlier satisfied, the young boy appeared to be getting help and the other two characters who brought him appeared to be simply upstanding citizens. Once he was sure everything was in order he left to return to his room at a local inn where he had been rooming the past few nights during his stay in Iafern. Just as he was finishing up his meal he heard a screech rip through the air, snapping him to attention. While the other citizens within the inn were startled with fear he took command of the situation, presenting himself as an official of the military and asked them to remain calm while he would take care of what was outside. The innkeeper thanked him profusely for risking it out in the dark and offered to pay his tab. Acting as if he could not accept such an offer he declined but the innkeeper refused to take no for an answer. With a shrug of "defeat" he grabbed his cloak and left the building. As soon as he was outside he noticed a problem, the light from the tower of the sun was not the same as it had usually been. The darkness that was now flowing through the city gave an ominous feel compared to the usual well lit capital. Draena could sense the danger that would come ahead, and while he was not as powerful now compared to what he was in his past, he still needed this city to believe he was a hero if he could gather information. Also, he needed the city to be around for his information to hold any value. Changing gears into his captain self that he used while on the fields of battle he began sprinting towards the market to investigate the tower.

While running he dodged around a few goblins, hinting at the notion that monsters managed to invade the city with it's lack of a light source. Ahead he noticed a single small goblin banging on a door to someone's house. With a swift kick he punted the goblin a short distance into the air before it fell with a satisfying thud. A smile began to form on his face, revealing his darker sadistic side he kept hidden until it became useful in battle. Continuing towards the tower Draena saw three figures that were larger than the monsters. Two appeared to be fighting them, one with a wound on their arm and another woman was swinging a sword into masses of creatures. The third figure he could not tell a gender from due to the clothing they wore, but they were on a horse and their face was covered by a beaked mask. "
Citizens! It is not safe out here, as Captain Draena I must implore you to head indoors and let the guards take care of this." Draena called out to them, drawing his sword as he moved closer to them and began slashing at groups of pixies.

Kurio Palmonius

Activity: Hiding

Kurio had fallen asleep with the griffin's wing acting as a blanket. A few hours later he awoke with shivers down his spine. A screech had rang through the city and startled him awake. Noises like that were far from uncommon in the rough part of town where he lived, so he merely shrugged it off and curled up into a ball. His ragged and dirty clothes blended into the corner he was tucked into and he was just about to fall asleep again when three people walked in front of him, clearly not noticing him. Kurio would have preferred to remain there and they could be on their merry way, but there were two goblins coming from the other end of the alley. He groaned quietly, not mentally ready to deal with people again. Kurio tried his best to remain still and quiet but the psychosis was already setting in from the stress of the goblins being there, and he was not great with children yet one was right in front of him. The voices in his head grew louder and more violent and Kurio could not hold it anymore. "Stop!" he screamed, gathering himself to his feet and looking around wildly.

Guatama (@SleepyBuddha)

She gave a look of concern when her companion had mentioned that monsters came out at night. Emi had never said that monsters would be in the cities. "Though there are a few people who might rob you, so you gotta be careful." Those were his words about rougues and criminals, not monsters.

"Sorry, Guatama," she said, correcting the name, clearly not exactly used to addressing her elders just by their name. She looked around as they wandered up north towards the inner part of the city. "Do you know which way would be the shortest towards the tower?"

Refara - The Doll Killer

Refara has a self satisfied smirk on her face. Not only had she bought her Sister and her Girlfriend a too-die for black flowing nightgown that looked scrum-diddly-umchious, she had even gotten herself a rather neato French Maid outfit as she did! The concept of her in a French Maid outfit was hilarious because frankly she couldn't care less if she were covered head to toe in blood, guts and everything in between. Nor did she do any semblence of feminine duties around the house... Except maybe slaughter a pig and butcher the pieces to eat for various meals. Garrett was mostly the house-maid/cook and general peace keeper of the house.

Regardless the outfit was adorable, so she had bought it without his knowledge and wrapped it in packaging and a bow, while slipping it into his jacket. Of course, the man asked what it was, but she only gave a bemused smile. Surprises were the best afterall.

Stretching her arms high above her head and giving out a huge yawn, arching chest forward and straining her top, she gave a glance to Yuki and Senki "So, when you two lovers heading out? Did you want to stay at ours for the night?"

That was when she felt Garrett nudge her shoulder and followed his gaze. The tower light did seem dimmer...And almost eerily at the same time, both Garrett and Refara looked to one another with a chilling grin donning both their faces. So it wouldn't be a boring day afterall and she might get a chance to scratch that killing itch afterall...

It was obvious in the next few seconds Garrett and Refara really were a practiced Duo. Instinctly Garrett had half crouch while Refara had reached an arm behind her and unslung her double headed scythe blade, gripping it tightly she grasped Garrett's shoulder while using his bent thigh as a step and hoisted herself up onto his shoulders. Unlike before however, Refara had one knee tucked beside his right ear, while her other foot wedged securely beside his left ear, crouching with pitch-perfect balance. Her right hand holding his shoulder beside her knee, while her left hand dangling the scythe blade dangerously beside her. The crouch on his shoulder and posture meant she was fully capable of balancing herself allowing him to run in as he chose, while also giving her the ability to swing at range behind him, or use him as a spring board to leap into battle.

Reffy glanced to Yuki and Senki. "Off we go and see what the racket is about!"

Garrett ran head long into the Tower of the Sun, and even before they were confronted with Pixies, the rumbling behind the ground caused Refara to swing her vision around to their rear. Her postion on his shoulders allowing her a superb all round vision. "Goblins!" She cried, though it wasn't fear, more just to let Garrett, Yuki and Senki know. But then Garrett had a clear view of a swarm of Pixie's coming from the front. There were people mixed in the confusion as well but the whole thing was chaos and Refara didn't notice them. Only her and her 3 companions.

Garrett Bolton

@Mitchs98

As Garrett charged at the source of the commotion he heard Refara call out that goblins were behind them. Making a split second judgement Garrett figured that he would be better able to deal with them and Refara the pixies in front of them. "Babe, you take pixies, I'll fuck up the goblins," he says briefly to her before grabbing hold of her and abruptly stopping. As he does this he pivots, using the momentum of his run as well as his own natural strength to swing Refara around and hurl her like scythe-wielding murderdeath incarnate at the swarm of pixies. He then turns to face the goblins, a wolfish grin on his face as he oozes bloodlust.

As the goblins get closer one hurls a spear at him, which Garrett simply bats out of the air with the back of his hand, beckoning them closer with his other. Two goblins take the bait, one arriving before the other and slashing at his abdomen with its sword. Garrett parries this with his left gauntlet, countering by stamping its left knee in as the second one reaches them. It lunges at him with its sword, meeting only empty air as Garrett sidesteps, wrapping his free arm around its head before wrenching its head to the side, causing its neck to snap with an ugly, or beautiful to him, cracking sound. Turning his attention to the first goblin, who is currently writhing around on the ground, cradling its broken knee, Garrett lifts a boot and sends it crashing down, shattering the goblin's skull and splattering its contents around the immediate area. At this point another goblin leaps onto his back, prompting Garrett to reach up and drag it off, hurling it into one of its companions in the process. He closes in on the two fallen goblins, grabbing them both by the heads and hauling them up before smashing them into each other face-first, caving both of their skulls in. Dropping the two corpses Garrett turns in time to see another goblin slashing at him. Unable to fully dodge he suffers a long, shallow cut to the abdomen. However, he manages to catch hold of the goblin's arm and pulls it into him, sending a palm strike into its elbow with his other hand and snapping it. As the goblin howls in pain Garrett releases its arm and grabs its throat, crushing its trachea with one hand and leaving it to gurgle out its final breath on the ground.

All the while as this happens Garrett's grin has only been getting wider and wider. He briefly checks over his shoulder to see Refara whirling around with her scythe, mowing down pixies.
"Hey babe, having fun over there?" he calls out, turning his attention back to the goblins once more as they try to encircle him.

Yuki was really wishing for the sweet embrace of death. She was a rather upstanding person in society who valued her appearance, reputation, and title. Being dragged into an adult store with her sister, her sister's boyfriend, and some stranger whom her sister believed to be her girlfriend was not a good thing. She didn't even want to come along and was forced into it. The store she was in was much too lewd for her mind. There was so much dirty things and clothes. Why would anyone even bother to come here in the first place? If they had a partner they should just do it like normal people rather than dress up in weird clothes. Fortunately for her she wasn't the only one who didn't want to be here. Garrett was in just as much pain as she was. They were both calm and civilized individuals who happened to be forced into a lewd world. In fact it was rather surprising that the two weren't together. In her own mind Garrett was much better for her, and the other girl who's name she still didn't know, would be much better for her sister. Those two could go at it like rabbits at night while Garrett and her could have a romantic candle dinner at a fancy restaurant. But as the saying goes, opposites attract, even if she wasn't attracted to Senki.

The group was in there for a surprisingly long time. Her sister had picked out quite the dress for her, a sexy black, soft dress to be precise. She kept telling her sister that she'd never wear it, though in reality she's probably wear it to bed. When asked what Senki and her would be doing now, Yuki shrugged her shoulders and sighed in frustration. She gave up trying to explain that the two weren't dating. "I don't know what I am going to do. I didn't reply expect a fourth person to tag along in our group. Though I suppose I can spend the night at your place. It's been the longest time since I've gone there." She said, the thought of sleeping at her sister's making her smile on the inside. Hopefully Senki didn't plan of tagging along. She didn't plan on sharing a bed with her tonight.

Yuki didn't even notice that the tower of sun had dimmed, it's bright and symbolic light dying out at the top of the tower. She was so flustered and her mind was on other things. However when Refara mentioned it to the group she finally noticed. It was a strange sight to see indeed. There were no festivals or holidays that caused this to happen, and normal nights wouldn't cause it's ever-glowing light to go away. Something was wrong, she could feel it in the air. Fortunately her companions felt the same thing and had the same idea; to investigate. The group quickly made their way to the tower and the guard was met with a troubling sight. Monsters were swarming the tower! How could creatures of darkness make it inside the kingdom? Strange that the one day she leaves the wall a city gets attacked. How they got in didn't matter right now, all that did was keeping the situation under control. Yuki drew her long black sword and took a few steps towards the tower, her hand tightly gripping the hilt.
"Refara, Garret, stay back. I'll take care of th-" her words stopped as the couple suddenly bolted past her, headfirst into the horde. They seemed to be handling themselves well, which was a good thing. She didn't have to worry about them. "Girl. If you can fight go and help them out." She instructed Senki before rushing to help Garrett. The black haired man was seemingly taking out all of the monsters by himself, which was impressive. However there were far more of them then there was him, so Yuki found it best to help him. Besides her big sword wouldn't do well against pixies. The silver haired girl halted a few feet away from Garrett before engaging the goblins. Her fighting style was much less gruesome than his. Rather than breaking bones and necks she made swift cuts to their frail bodies. Fighting them was a joke. The only strength that they had was their numbers. They weren't strong or smart or good looking. She felt no remorse for slicing them down.

A pair of green freaks rushed at the guard, one swinging at her stomach in a pathetic attempt to hurt her. Yuki brought her sword up with great momentum to block the goblin's strike up into the air, his own weapon being knocked from his hand. But before he could reach for it her sword fell back down and embedded itself in his skull, nearly cutting it in two. The other goblin charged at her, a spear pointed in her direction. She stood her ground until the goblin reached a danger zone. Yuki casually stepped to the side and held her sword out horizontally, the poor monster running into it, his head falling the the ground and body tumbling to a halt. The silver haired girl began to slowly make her way towards Reffy's lover, careful not to get too close. She didn't want to end up like one of those goblins. Another beast charged at her with a sword, the blade thrusting out to stab her. However Yuki caught it in the space between her blade, tilting his sword upwards and thrusting towards him, her blade digging into his jaw. As easy as it was fighting these foot soldiers Yuki soon felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. A bow carrying goblin managed to land a hit on her shoulder, causing the girl to hiss in pain and stumble forward. Another arrow whizzed through the air, whistling softly as it just barely missed piercing her leg, the arrowhead cutting through her thigh highs and causing her to bleed slightly.
"You, Griffon Hunter, take care of that archer for me!"

Senki Tazuya: Sun Tower

Senki had had fun shopping with all of them, especially considering the kind of shop it was. She could tell both Garrett and Yuki didn't like it at all though. But as far as Senki went she enjoyed it, if only for imagining Yuki in the various outfits..not to mention the one that was bought for her. She also liked the fact that, even if they weren't actually dating..yet.., Refara approved of her and Yuki. Infact she seemed very insistent they got together. Perhaps with her help it could become reality. Soon as they were walking down the street Refara asked if her and Yuki wanted to stay at her house. Senki grinned, this was a perfect opportunity in her mind.

"
I'd be delighted to stay. Thanks for offering." She replied. A little bit later and they had noticed something off about the Sun Tower, not only that there were goblins and pixies attacking. Surprisingly Refarra and Garrett were the first ones to jump in, followed by Yuki who ordered her to help her sister. Senki shrugged and drew her weapons, clasping them tightly in each hand. "Whatever you say boss." She told her, proceeding to run over to help. Though she was stopped in her tracks when she cried out for her to help her instead. "I got a name ya know, use it! I told you, I'm Senki." She shouted, contemplating teasing her and forcing her to use her name before she helped..however if the goblin managed a lethal shot that would be bad.

Finally she rushed over to the goblin, thrusting her spear directly through it's chest, and flinging it to the side. That done, she quickly looked for any more bow wielding goblins before running back over to the swarm of pixies. "
Heya. Yuki wanted me to help ya." She told her, hitting at the pixies with her spear like a baseball bat.

Refara - The Doll Killer

Refara glanced back just as the Pixie's started to swarm down the staircase, her eyes widening but again not in fear, quiet the opposite. If anything the fact they were being surrounded made an adorable little giggle escape her red lips. "Anything you say, Sugarlips..." And with that he spun on his foot and hurled her like she was a shotput...

She flew in the air Scythe held high, and in a huge downward slash she already had hit 4 or 5 of the little flying critters. Her blade had been sharpened to such a razor finish it cut clean through making an almost huge wave of blood to explode out infront and soak her chest and face.

But she didn't stop. Refara's battle technique was oddly beautiful in it's ferocity, she landed on a foot with a knee tucked into her chest like flamigo before kicking that foot out before her and sweeping it around in a full circle, body following suit. The Scythe was twirling so fast in her fingers and palms that the whole weapon almost looked like shield before and around her.

Like a weird floating dance of death, Refara never stopped, she was surrounded by 10 if not 20 or more of the Pixie's and each and everyone was cut into pieces in a scream of agony. Every swing causing more waves and blasts of red blood to coat the girl, and still she smiled adorably. She didn't even hear Yuki her sister, though she did hear the deep voice of Garry a moment later. "Oh my Darling! It's like a trip in a Candy Store! Did you set this up for me?" Refara did a backwards spin of her Scythe before standing still, the blade still circling behind her and rolling around her palm and fingers with ease. She even donned a cute pivoted foot, and head tilt to add to the adorableness of it... except being frighteningly covered head to toe in Pixie blood. "Oh Garry? If Yuki and Senki stay over, should we pull out that trundle bed for them to sleep?...Maybe Pasta for dinner?"

In her distraction a swarm of screaming Pixies flooded her to the point you couldn't even see her then a beautiful burst of blood exploded out in a doom shape as she slaughtered every single one. Refara's Scythe stopped spinning finally as she looked to Senki, a half pout on her lips. " Awww... I guess you could help... but leave some for me, Sucky....." A nickname she literally just made up..
