The minute they had gotten close to the shop, two people were already there. The petite girl that looked like one of the workers at the shop had immediately knelt over to help him. She looked a little young to be a professional magic healer, but Emiyn was just as desperate as his friend Haruko. He remained silent, mostly because Haruko had spoken all of the words necessary, and that he didn't know whether speaking would disturb the healer. He fidgeted his fingers a little before digging them into his pocket, the helpless feeling eating away at him. Despite all of this, his face was still somewhat composed, as how his tutor had disciplined him. "Shhh... just, rest. Don't talk." he said to the boy who seemed to be apologizing again.
He leaned back not wanting to take up room before he noticed the other figure ( @Robertaka123 ). In the split second, he observed him immediately to be something like a warrior, from his aura. There was something shiny under the sun, and he immediately recognised the seal from the military. His body automatically drew a little close toward Haruko, as if he could hide himself. It should be fine, he told himself as he turned back to the girl and wounded boy. He was the least noticeable prince, even if this man was a high ranked military officer, he might not know him after all.

At his words, Erika turned upwards to the sky. The trees canopy had covered most of the sky, so they couldn't really see much beyond the leaves, but both of them knew enough that the cloud of darkness was still there. Almost everyone born of this era had always seen it from the days of their youth. She gave him a questioning look, not sure about who he was referring to "those corrupted" were.
"Erika. You can call me Erika," she said with a smile."I'd like to know your name too, mister. And I'm travelling to Iafern to see my brother. I haven't seen him for the last two months."

Ira watched the stranger work, in quiet and patient. There was a slight irritation into the person just stepping in without warning, but Ira let it go quickly. Healing was healing, so long as these people got what they needed. And this stranger was pretty good, better than herself she assumed. After being handed back her shoe the women quickly got herself put together, thanking the stranger and went on her way. For a moment Ira looked back up at the stranger, she didn't need to ask again she just needed to wait for the person to reply.

"Gautama. I am called Gautama, and it is a pleasure to meet you Erika. " the pair drew closer to lafern and the city could be seen through the tree line now. " There it is.... May I ask who your brother is Erika? " The city before Gautama seemed so foreign to him now... his family had visited the city a few months before he would leave his family. They had gone mostly to visit the tower of the sun and beseech the gods to bless their family. It was because of the visit that Gautama had left in the first place. It couldn't stand his parent's selfish nature any long.

Ned smiled has he put his hand on her shoulder. "I will take care of it, do not worry." He said as he chuckled. "Your dad and my mom would have gotten along well." He then looked at the flowers once more before turning away. "All that is left is to do it to destroy the monsters." He clutched his sword handle. "I will make sure they all perish." He said with a grin. "It is the least I could do for everyone." He turned back and looked at Jess. He could not help but notice how sincere she was. In this land of thugs and war, monsters and mayhem, there were still a few kind souls. He looked to the sky smiling. "You would be proud to have met her." He said softly as he looked back. He looked to the roses in the flower batch smiling. "My mother would always come here once a week to see the roses. She loved them so much and would always bring back a few to keep at home." He said as he plucked one of the red ones. He went up to Jess and knelt next to her before taking off the thorns and placing it behind her ear. "She would always find a little girl, it was the same one every week, and she would place the rose behind her ear and tell her, 'I will make all the monsters go away, so that you may play without any worries.'" He laughed a bit. "She somehow always found that same girl." He laughed at the thought. He had never heard if the girl gave her name, or a description of the girl. But he always thought it was something his mom would do. "I wish I could have met the girl." He laughed.sitanomoto said:

Jess's eyes grew wide and she blushed slightly as he put the flower behind her ear. She listened to his story and something flashed in her memory. Old, clear as crystal when Ned told her what his mother would say. 'I will make all the monsters go away so that you may play without any worries.' Jess remembered the soft words and the warm clasp of the hand of the woman she talked to so long ago... She looked up at Ned, her blue eyes scanning him as if truely seeing him for the first time. "I think you just did..." She whispered, looking at Ned with a smile. "That was your mother?" She said, and she laughed. "The girl was me!" She looked at the flowerbed. "My mother sent me into town every week for traveller's news and medicine, maybe some food and a sweet thing or two... But I always stopped here. The woman that was so kind to me here was your mother!"she looked at Ned, eyes bright with joy.Dkingow said:

"I am sure she is happy seeing us finally meet." He then looked back down laughed. "Shall we rejoin the group so I can tell everyone to get lost?" He asked with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. He still did not want anyone to come with him to the Temple of the Moon. He was not willing to risk anyone else's safety but his own. He was a bit on edge meeting the girl his mother always talked about. It was a weird feeling, like he knew so much about her already, yet they had never met. He wondered if his mom ever told her anything about him. It had been one hell of a day for him and this was still only the start of his journey.

Literally the worst
Garrett recovered just in time to hear Refara mention something about a fistfight or getting fairyfloss. He was about to respond when he heard Yuki angrily ague that battle skirts aren't boring, a sentiment that Garrett has to agree with. Battle skirts have the benefits of being armor, looking classy, and providing full coverage, all things that Garrett highly appreciates. However, he knows better than to try to argue that point with his girlfriend as she's likely to try to "appeal" to him, likely by shoving her chest into his face or stripping or something else that Garrett wasn't even remotely ready to deal with. He shudders slightly, remembering numerous occasions in which such things had happened to him. At one point she had fully stripped off her top because it was too hot, going around bare-chested, in public no less. He had frantically tried to get her to cover up but she had resisted all his efforts. Sure it looked good and all but you just didn't do that in public. He loved his girlfriend, he really did, but couldn't she do something about her utter lack of modesty? The psychotic portion of her? He could deal with that easily. Her blood-soaked nature? Didn't make him blink. But her propensity for the immodest? That he had no defense against, and she knew that well.
Hearing another girl, who was strangely with a griffon, mention a place to get good fairy floss Garrett decides, for his own health, that they should probably go with that. "Thank you," he says to her, quickly doing an about face and walking, rather stiffly still, towards the fountain and candy stand she had mentioned thus executing a tactical nope and extracting himself, and Refara, from the situation.

Isabella got to the park and wondered a bit before coming to a monument. It was the status of a man with a stick, a backpack and a compass. It was a monument for adventures. She had visited the monument since she was seven. She stopped at age 12 because she was losing her hearing at the time and was worried about. Now that she was capable of watching over herself she could visit more often. She gave a good look at the monument before smiling and bowing at it to show respect and to say bye before running off.
Isabella was on her way to start her adventures when she noticed the people from the tower and approached them. A guy was walking in an odd way, and the others were chatting. Isabella was concerned on if they were talking about... underwear. When she heard they were just talking about attire she sighed in relief. This was an odd group, but now that she thought about it, they were quite entertaining.

Ned just smiled. "We will see how things go. I do not like working with others too much." He said not to be mean but to show that he usually has concerns. He knows other people can fight, but most people are not ready to lay down their life for the cause. He was and he would be till he was dead. Sure he wanted to win and be the hero but if he was to die at the end of the mission, as long as he succeeded he did not care. He looked back at the flowers one more time whispering that he loved his mother so, before turning back to Jess. "I guess we will probably be stuck together for a while. Would you like to go get something to eat? It has been a while with no real outcome except the excitement of the bird and the underwear." He laughed they walked away from the flowers.

Reffy blinked as her sister piped up about wanting to get those red underwear with bows on the side, to which the girl put a hand behind her head and made an almost shy giggle. "Weeeelllll you see... I would totally do that Sis buuutt... On that particular occasion Garrett was trying his hand at some short sword throwing, you know, circus style, and would you believe he threw it just as I walked in? Bloody man was a perfect shot and stabbed the left bow right into the wall behind me and the whole thing tore off!" Patting Garrett's head as she said this. "Looks like you can do more with your hands then just punch people, eh Gary?" A tiny smirk working into the corner of her mouth. "Maybe next time I'll dangle a pair of panties in my mouth and we'll see if your still as good a shot?" Giggling loudly. Then the Griffon girl suggested a Fairyfloss store and 'adult' store down the way and Refara nodded enthuastically to both. "Yes, yes! Fairyfloss and lollies! Thank you lady!" Waving excited. That was when Garrett did his tactical retreat, but Refara still half spun on his back and shouted to Yuki, not quietly either.... Rather loudly.

Draena watched as a young boy accompanied by a young woman carrying an even smaller boy. The youngest boy was badly wounded, and the girl he was talking to a moment ago began immediately helping. So, she had a kind heart. That meant she would be easy to manipulate. The other three he still had to figure out. The injured one appeared incredibly young and likely could not provide information or any sort of assistance besides helping to gain the trust of the others. The new lady, she had blood on her dress from the child, also likely to have a kind heart. This young boy however, seemed frightened by Draena's stature. Fear is not something he needed at the moment, he wanted to know more about how the lower class worked first hand. "Excuse me, but might I ask who you two are? And how this one came across such injuries?" He asked with a slightly worried tone.

Kurio ducked into the crowd, ignoring the very angry cart owner. Glancing around he managed to weave through and out the other side. Up ahead there was a small group of people gathered, not what he wanted right now. The voices were already starting to set in from being around people only a few moments. "No! That's not true! They don't know me!" He shouted out, sprinting into an alley before anyone would question him. Kurio ran, all the way to the end of the alley and collapsed against a wall to a building. Curling up into a corner he began shaking slightly, unable to cope with the voices in his head. "No...Please...Stop..." He whimpered, still shaking.

Something about Yuki did seem familiar though, in all seriousness. Though, Senki couldn't quite figure out what..and it was kind of annoying her. And it wasn't her ass that seemed familiar either.

Armyn was awoken from her slumber by the sound of a boy shouting. She sqauwked as he ran past, then stood, spreading her wings and giving them an experimental flap. They hurt a little, but nothing that the mother couldn't bear. She took off into the air, with Lux, now awoken, clinging to her feathers with a bright-eyed terror. Armyn followed the boy down into an alleyway. Why she was drawn to him she did not comprehend, but she felt a compelling urge to follow and protect him. Maybe she was being so tame because Senki had caught her in the middle of taking care of her chicks, and that mother's instinct was overwhelming. Whatever the case, the boy stopped down an alley and so Armyn landed and limped towards the curled up boy. She let out a soft, unthreatening croon and began to purr as she approached the boy. She laid down in front of him and began to gently comb her beak through his Tangled hair, her left wing sliding over him like a large, soft blanket. Lux got in on the action by padding over to the boy and sitting on his hand, the tiny dragon's tail curled around the boy's thumb.Robertaka123 said:

He thought knowing full well it was his mother and Jess who affected him that little bit. He needed to go back to being cold and demanding, how else would he keep everyone away while he does his mission.

While he was observing the healer tending to the boy, the voice next to him caught Emiyn's attention. He looked up to face the man, who was asking about the situation. Had it been Emiyn himself, he would have wondered as well, how such a young child had such injuries. "Not sure, we..." he gestured at Haruko beside him. "Found him collapsed in a street nearby. There wasn't a weapon or anyone else close to him..." he said, rather confident of his observations and memory. Emiyn's look did linger for a little moment on the man's figure again. There were many times when Emiyn could read a little into a person, but this was not one of those cases.
"As for who we are..." He continued while glancing at the healer again briefly. "This is my friend Haruko, and I'm Emil." Very subtly he nudged at the Haruko's back, as a cue to play along with his small lie about his name again. It was a calm tone that he spoke in, with no stutter, after many practises.

Katherine turned to the cart and glanced around it. Unfortunately they did not seem to have much that she needed, and more people had joined the line behind them. She sighed, resigned to getting what supplies she could from the temple of light, and mounted her horse. She nodded to the woman and man at the cart, and rode off towards Iafern.
(sorry about the short post I got super stuck on this, so I and dagfinn went for an unceremonious departure. Also I am not going to be posting much at all today, as its my last day of school and i have a bunch of crap to do.)

Kurio glanced up as he felt something touch his back. Instinctively he retreated back at first, but his back was against the wall. Glancing up he saw two creatures, one was running its beak through his hair and the other was much smaller and was sitting on his hand with a tail wrapped around his thumb. Still very much dissociating he decided this illusion would be better to go along with rather than fight it. Taking a deep breath he let out a faint smile, enjoying the warmth of the wing on his back. "H-hi there...wh..where are you from?" He asked quietly, his voice shaky. Kurio was not used to his delusions, since he had managed to avoid people for so long. Asking the question would help him find some sort of grounding in his mind, as he could possibly relate to the creatures he thought he was imagining.

Isabella was now ready to start an adventure. She wasn't sure on anything other than the fact that she just needed to get away. She kept to herself as she started to walk down the street. People were walking to shops, restaurants, to their homes, just about everywhere. Isabella knew the trip to the Tower of the Moon wasn't very long, but a decent distance from her current spot. She wanted to go to both towers because she felt it was right. Now she was out of the chaos and in a more open area of the town with less people. It was naturally quiet and Isabella liked that, she didn't have to freak out about hearing things now.
(Literally just a "filler post".)

Armyn purred too, giving a little sound like a frustrated sigh as she got tangles out of the boy's hair, like a frustrated mother when she's brushing her son's unruly hair. She got the tangles out then rested her head on the boy's leg, her left wing sliding back and forth on his back like a soothing rub.
Lux touched his nose to the boy's thumb and cooed softly, then nommed (for that was the only way to describe it) the thumb. It didn't hurt, since there seemed to be no teeth in Lux's mouth at the time, and he looked much like a little puppy who had just found a new thing to cuddle.
