Fantasy Pantheon Infinite

Persephone smiled when she spotted nyx and went over to her and gave her a quick hug, "Glad to see you are doing well..and by the feeling of it your anger is a frightening as ever to those it is aimed at" It had been awhile since she seen nyx but loved her for all her qualities all the same. Loki wasnt to far away and she nodded to him as well.

She nodded, slowly growing more subdue. Aesa knew that whatever help she had been given, it was only by the grace of Odin that she'd been stopped as soon as she had. She recognized the effects of the rune-magic'd sleep. "Well, I thank you. Truly!" It wasn't often that one of her fellow Asgardians took the time to help her. Or to spare her much of their time at all.

Hearing the sound of Odin's approach, Aesa couldn't help curl in on herself a little. Her shoulders hunched and her head lowered. It wasn't until Hoenir offered his hand that she was even willing to look up. She took his hand gratefully, accepting his help. Even once she was on her feet, however, Aesa didn't let go of his hand. Like a child seeking comfort, she clung to him as she let her eyes fall on Odin. Might and wise, she had once loved him above all others. He was like a grandfather to her- or had been. She flinched slightly when he spoke, all her insecurities flooding her mind and leaking out despite her best efforts at control.

Loki looked up from a haze and nodded to Persephone. Another trigger. He picked up his glass and drank again. KILL THEM! ALL OF THEM! Loki again sipped, destroying the thought that screamed so loud it turned his stomach. There is a place and a time... he told himself.

Nyx smiled at Persephone. "You know me. A strong temper and a short fuse." she said, unaware of what The Trickster was thinking.

Hoenir felt Aesa's emotions seep through her touch and glanced back slightly, his eyebrows creased in worry.

"Brother. I'm speaking to you." Odin barks, getting Hoenir's attention again. He dips his head slightly, showing his respect. Odin's expression lessens. "I assume it was important." Hoenir nods, trying to show his conviction, even with Aesa's emotions stirring his. Odin grunts, showing his displeasure.

"Hello Persephone," Zeus said as he approached his daughter he knew she hated him for what he did...he wished he hadn't even done it, he wished that he would have told Hades no from the start but he thought nothing of it at the time. "it's good to see you again."

Persephone broke away from Nyx and faced her father, "Its good to see you well Zeus..it has been some time since we talked last" She was doing well keeping her anger at bay. She wanted to enjoy her time up here until the time came when she had to return. "How is life up here doing for everybody?" She realized there was a cup of tea sitting near here and she asked if it was for her.

Loki nodded to Persephone. "If you want any more, simply ask." he said. There cam a small twinge within his mind, the blood soaked thoughts again clawing at his psyche. Horrible thoughts. He again turned his eyes to Nyx. So many things...so much fun...and so little time...

Nyx made herself a cup and drank, relishing the feeling of the warmth course outward from her core. She looked up, and caught Loki staring again.

Zeus looked at Persephone, it had been years since he saw her and he did not have any words that he could say to make things better to her. he felt terrible but dispite this he knew they could work this out later. "Life has been good but we have a problem..."

Persephone grabbed a cup the tea and took a small sip, "Thank you very much" She looked to her father and knew what he must be talking about, though she had only caught bits from what Hades was talking about to the servants. "Is it about the disappearances father?" She found a chair and sat down crossing her legs.

The Watcher half waved at Persephone. "Sup, yo? Also that tea is for you, yes. I am the one who put it there. " The immortal said as he casual drank his hot coco. "It should be perfect temperature by now. How are you and how are you coping with the changes wrought by humans?" The Watcher took another sip of hot coco

Persephone arched her brow at the way this one spoke, certainly not in a fashion she had heard. "Well..thank you for the tea..and I have not come up here to visit humans. Besides this is my first trip up here for the year so I fear I do not know much of the humans these days" She took another sip of her tea and placed it on the table beside her.

The Watcher smiled slightly. "I mean the ever dwindling need for gods. How are you adapting to their new ways as they try to stand on their own feet. I personally find them quite charming. As for your first visit up this year, you are speaking to one whom time, at least how you keep it, has no meaning." He took another sip. "Ah. Hits the spot. Almost as much as a vanilla macchiato." He looked at her and realized what he said. "Oh its a delightfully warm drink that perks you up that the humans made. Remind me to get you one."

This...character was very interesting and someone she wouldnt have thought her father or Nyx to be around. This business with the gods must be worse than she thought, "Well then I guess your lucky..being trapped in hell for the rest of your lifetime is no pleasure. Hades isnt exactly somebody you want to be stuck with." She frowned at the word macchiato..she had never heard such a thing and wasnt sure if its name gave it any justice.

The Watcher half laughed. "I know. I was there when he and his brothers were born. I have been around for a very very long time dear. Well, since time immemorial actually. To the Greeks, I was Chronus, to the Egyptians, Thoth, to the Norse, the eldest Norn, to others still as Father Time. You may call me The Watcher" He said half smiling. He didn't give off much power yet spoke of his age and presence throughout history as if they were mere trifles. "And you simply must visit New York City whilst you are up. Tis quite a lively hub if activity. "

Freyja had heard all those names of course, "This will probably be my only place of visit for the time being..for Hades doesnt know i'am here and surely he will soon. So until then my time is short until im taken back..forcefully of course" She sighed and shook her head, surely as queen Hades would get it through his head that she can do things on her own.

The Watcher shrugged. "I can turn a second into an eternity and vice versa. All you need to do is give the request and I will comply. I have no love for many of the Greek gods anyway as it is my opinion they need to mature a bit and perhaps take the roles of guardians similar to Heaven rather than kings or rulers." The Watcher casts an eye at Zeus, "Yet for all my complaining, you are holding up MUCH better than your Egyptian and Norse counterparts. That I must say is quite comforting to see my hopes in you were not misplaced. I can only pray you will continue to grow just as the humans do." The Watcher finisbes his cocia, "And of course, as for you Nyx I hope your rage quells with time."

(I shall reply tomorrow for I dont wish to go to ar ahead of the others. It is late here anyways so I should be getting some sleep, goodnight)

Every word that the man spoke only made Zeus want to rip out his throat. He detested him because he thought he was so much better than anyone. But he was the one that had to keep a level mind about everything so he simply clenched his teeth and looked to Persephone "Yes it is," he said "we want to find them because we know it is more than just them leaving..."

Persephone looked back to her father with a quizzical look, "And have you devised a plan on how these missing persons can be found? Or what steps need to be taken?" She closed her eyes as a servants voice echoed in her mind, "Forgive me mistress but your husband is growing impatient with us..he is growing suspicious. You dont have time" Persephone sighed, she was thankful for the few damned souls that seemed to have a little humanity left in them.

"Well Nyx has a few ideas to help out but I think we should go back to Olympus especially if you want to help us." Zeus said knowing hades would be furious to find out she was gone. "After all if you are there he cant touch you." He said hinting to hades.

Persephone smirked, "I know that..but I was only allowed back once a year..the last thing I want to do is start something im not sure can be finished. Hades is not forgiving and if he knew his brother was stowing away his stolen bride im sure he would be less than pleased. You are after his brother" She tucked her hair behind her ear and rested her head in her hand. She missed her mother but seeing her was more difficult than going back to the underworld after her time was up.

If my brother wants to start a war with me then let him. He will lose and then be throne in the pit and you will stay here with us and it will not have mattered at all." Zeus said with a stern tone. "You will be safe on Olympus."

Persephone looked back up at her father, "This isnt your way for you to atone is it? For selling me off to Hades?" She didnt want to pick a fight but she couldnt help but wonder why exactly now of all times he wants to help her. All of these years he could have whisked her away to lympus but he hadnt. She felt to far into her role as queen that maybe she could never come out.

"That ship sailed long ago this is just to help...it is the first time i have had a chance to do this." he said as if he read her mind "Nyx what are your plans"

Nyx, who fought her eyes away from Loki, looked at her Father. "I suggest we alight a beacon within the four realms of out pantheon: Olympus, The Underworld, Atlantis and Ira. I will send some of my shades to find specific gods and warp them to Olympus." she suggested.

Loki watched these gods. All scrambling around for a dire reason to exist... he thought. How pathetic. "If you're going anywhere, I would like to accompany you." he said.
