You are the spring I've waited for a long time
Brooke "Lucky" Weisz
Brooke did not understand anything that the vice-headmistress had said. Nada. Zilch. Especially about the wars that had weighed a big impact on the earth. Three Gods? What was that? World War II? Or was it the first? He wasn't sure what the woman was talking about, he was hardly serious about school. Let alone, history. He suddenly felt a bit dejected, if it weren't for his luck, does he even have any redeeming qualities? Other than his cute face and caring personality. People shifted as they were asked to line up, something that made him end up somewhere. He took a peek at who was in front of him. A few heads ahead was a Filipina who conjured a small flame in her palm, he immediately thought that what she had was amazing. Nobody can just conjure fire, but then again everybody in this island has some sort of power no matter how bizarre or how common it seemed.
Brooke wasn't gonna lie, he was the third next person in line to get asked if he was gonna put those goop and it stunk. That's how bad it smelled. He was presented with it, and it was so awful that he felt just a little smell made him feel a lump growing in his throat. He wasn't used to this kind of things, these kind of smell. "Uhhh." His stomach felt like it was swirling, putting a hand on his mouth to stop the liquid that wanted to escape. "Hrrgg."
The mere thought of touching it was too much for him, the smell of it and seeing it. No. No. It was coming. "Blaaaaaargh!!" He instantly grabbed the bag of goop and hurled vomit in it, immediately disgusting the people around him. Realizing what he had just did, he covered his mouth once again. The contents made its way through the cracks of his hands, leaving stains on his clothes and shoes leaving behind odor not wanted. He felt weak. But the eyes of people staring at him with shock was something he wasn't used to. He wasn't used to this, why did he even think that the place is nice? He clearly isn't cut out for this. Why couldn't he just be born normal and live a normal life? He quickly ran away, unintentionally making his way towards the labyrinth. Not bothering to look back, he just wanted to escape those unfamiliar stares.
