Realistic or Modern Pandemic:Revelations Of The Dead

Julie followed Clara as they spoke, " Sadly, no. The only person I've seen or talked to in a long while is you." She noticed Clara navigating through the isles as if she was looking for something in a hurry. Perhaps she could help. She had been in this market just the day before. Julie tilted her head before questioning her," Looking for something in particular?"

"I need to stock up before I hit the road again. Never know when I'm going to see canned goods again," she said with a slight smile. Running a hand through her blonde ponytail, she turned to Julie again. "You wouldn't happen to know where they are would you?"

Julie smiled, "As a matter of fact," She looked up to see what isle they were currently on, "I do. Three isles over on the back wall." She waved her to follow as she lead the way. "I checked this place yesterday so I have a basic idea of where most things are in here", Stopping in front of a wall with a decent amount of cans strewn across the shelves, "Pick your poison." Julie loved to help and this was no exception.

Clara swung her bag and unzipped it carefully. She began to grab a few cans quickly with assorted fruit and vegetables in, and a few cans of meat and fish before she zipped it shut. "I always hate this part," she said as she hoisted it back over her shoulder and pulled the remaining strap over her other. "I mean I love being stocked up, but it's always so heavy."

Standing next to Clara, Julie waited for her to fill her bag with what she needed from the shelf. She initially planned to come back here later but she had enough for now and could find another place to collect supplies. Julie laughed a little at Clara's comment on the weight of her bag, "Same. I usually don't take a lot of canned things for that very reason. They also can make a good bit of noise if they clanks together."

Xobic stop walking towards the jeep"okay I see how it is I got some rations and medical supplies and if your jeep breakdown I can probably fix it"he saw a shambling zombie coming towards him he grab his katana and decapitated it"does that sound good to you"he says as he schieft his katana.

Ashlyn was sitting in the passenger seat as they drove, her feet propped up on the dashboard. She was like this for a while until they saw a human waving at them. She looked over her feet and looked at the guy. He sounded Irish, and Ashlyn wondered how he ended up in America during the pandemic. Leaning back against the seat, she propped her feet back up and pointed at the driver. She realized she hadn't gotten his name, but right now it wasn't important. "He's the jeep owner- if you get to close he'll think you're insane and knock you out cold," Ashlyn mused to the Irish guy.

Noah stepped out of his jeep and looked at the man in front of him, his gun in his left hand and his machete on the other. If he did make any rash moves, his brain would become pudding in seconds. '' Okay... How many zombies did you kill pal?'' he asked throwing the rest of his apple on the floor. He walked towards the guy, crunching over the decapitated walker next to them. He stood a few inches from him looking down at the Irish looking man, Noah stood a lot taller than him, but didn't try to intimidate him with his demeanor, it wasn't in his nature. He leaned most of his weight on one side looking at him, if what the guy said was true, that he could fix his car anytime, then Noah saw the use in him.

Ashlyn got out of the car and scowled at Noah. "Seriously? How come you're so damn nice to him, but knock me out before we've exchanged a single word?" she asked, her arms crossed over her chest. After a moment of thought, she smirked at Noah. "Or are you more intimidated by a 20 year old girl that can kill a horde of walkers single-handedly? It's okay, I understand. I would be too," Ashlyn said smugly.

'' You did handle them pretty well,'' Noah said smirking. The girl seemed pretty confident compared to the few he encountered, probably the reason why they all died consumed in their own fear. He glanced behind him to look at Ashlyn, '' It was a bit aggressive from my part, but it was out of instinct.'' he said hooking his machete on his belt. He faced the girl and leaned his hand, '' My name is Noah..Sorry about the bruise by the way.'' he said looking at where he had hit. He was honest about his reply, it was completely out of instinct. He didn't regret following his instinct tho, he never regretted his decisions. Anyway, It's not that she was intimidating or anything, but more because it felt necessary at the moment.

Ashlyn eyed Noah for a moment, processing his explanation and apology like she was a jury judging whether he was guilty or innocent. Noah seemed to know what he was doing, especially if he somehow got his hands on an army Hummer during the pandemic. Deciding that he wasn't awful, Ashlyn nodded her head, but kept her arms crossed. "Ashlyn. Does this mean I can arm myself now, or do you still not trust me?" she said dully.

Xobic look at them like thay was crazy"20...21 zombies killed I try to avoid a horde of walkers"he kept on looking at the jeep and wondered how he got one"how did you get the jeep Sonny Boy"

Noah lifted an eyebrow, ''Sonny boy? '' he asked confused at how he had just found such a weird nickname. '' Call me Noah please, and to answer your question, from my military base.'' he said walking towards it. He lifted one compartment from the trunk and took all of the weapons he had taken from Ashlyn. He gave them back to her and looked at both of them, '' I have to go now, who ever wants to join me temporarily can but it's now.'' he said in a serious tone.

He didn't want to waste another minute on this dirt road and both of these new fellow seemed..safe for now. He hadn't met anyone since the start of this hell except a few people who were already victims of the dead.

Xobic got in the back seat of the jeep"okay Noah my name is Xobic Dex and I am with you"sitting there in a vehicle made him feel comfortable he is feeling tired as well since he hasn't slept for 5 days he clothes they door and took a little nap.

"I get shot gun," Ashlyn declared, walking away from the boys and hopping into the front seat with most of her weapons at her feet. She relaxed in the seat, flipping through some of the CDs that were in the car and chose a classic ACDC album and popped it into the player while the guys got in the car. She turned the radio down a little, but it was loud enough for them to hear the start of Back in Black.

Noah drove for a few hours without stopping, the sun was still high and the heat started making him sweat. He was driving fast, maybe even too fast, until he saw what used to be a traffic on the road. His hummer was too big to pass in between the car and both sides of the road seemed blocked by trees. He stopped his car and tried analyzing the situation, he didn't want this vehicle, no car could be compared to his use, especially if he figured a way to fix the machine gun on the roof. He didn't see any walkers in view but they were for sure somewhere here. Xobic was still snoring in the back, Ashlyn on the other hand was awake. '' Do you see any ways to pass through here?'' he asked.

Clara shrugged. "Yeah but they last longer and I never stay in one place for more than a few days, so it's handy when I'm on the open road," she said, giving Julie an awkward smile. "I usually wrap them in my spare clothes if they start to get noisy. So do you stay here permanently or is it temporary like me?" She looked around the isle carefully, wondering if she should check out the other isles for anything useful before she moved on to the next town.

Ashlyn turned to look at Noah, then out at the road. It was pretty chaotic, and oddly quiet despite the wreckage. She shrugged at Noah, and took her sniper and machete with her out onto the street to explore the rest of the road past the cars. If they moved some of the cars off to the side, they had a chance at getting out of the road. They just had to avoid using a lot of noise. "We could try to move these cars strategically so a path can be cleared, but if not you're gonna have to ditch the Hummer and walk," Ashlyn called out to Noah over her shoulder, peeking into some of the cars to see if there was anything useful.

He parked his hummer, cutting the engine and glanced at his rearview mirror. Xobic still sleeping, he didn't feeel like waking him up, he seemed like some noisy guy. He walked out of his vehicle, taking his machete and Desert eagle with him. He liked Ashlyn's plan, it seemed quite logical and it was way better than leaving the Hummer behind. He walked over some car and undusted the window, he looked inside and noticed some female zombie looking at him but she was wearing a seat belt. She was making a few noises but the body was too weak to even move. He opened the car door and immediatly slammed his machete on her skull. No pity for them, he walked to the drivers seat and the keys were still in the ignition and there was enough gas to back it up.

Before exiting, he found some flares which could be useful at long terms and what looked like baby food. He looked at the back and noticed some bloody looking baby seat. He looked away not wanting to see anymore of this hell, Baby's were the first victims because of their crying and their dependance to others. He breathed in fast and looked at Ashlyn, '' Hey, we just need to backup this 3-4 cars in the back with that RV and it should be good enough.'' he said with his deep voice pointing with his machete the designed cars.

Julie Listened to Clara, just happy to have someone to have a conversation with for the time being. She couldn't really say she has stayed in one place for more than a night or two considering she has been hopping between cars. It probably wasn't the most safe plan but it worked for her and shes never had anyone or anything look in a car she was in before. Julie shook her head," Temporary. Too dangerous to stay somewhere permanently."

Clara nodded and began to walk to the back of the store. "Any idea which way you're going next?" she celled back as she turned to her left and looked at each isle end.

Ashlyn nodded in response to his plan, having a hard time looking at some of the wreckage that littered the road. She could taste bile at the back of her throat as she saw countless dead bodies, some being children. Ashlyn wasn't normally bothered by the dead because they were mostly adults, but seeing a child's body ripped to shreds made her heart clench. Decay and ruin rotted throughout the cars, and there wasn't a whole lot to salvage other than a few water bottles Ashlyn scrounged up along with some gun power and ammo.

Julie became lost in thought after hearing that question. When it came down to it Julie didn't really know where she would go. Normally it was pretty random where she would move next but, she had covered a majority of the city and she didn't really have a plan. "No", She replied, realizing the silence had grown since she began thinking of what she was to do next, "I guess I don't."

Xobic woke up from his nap he saw that they stop he decided to get out of the jeep and look what they were doing.seeing that they removing cars out of the way hedecided to help he went to a car that none of them were taking it was a truck with a toolbox in the back he went to the front seat and saw a man that blown out his brain opening the door he grab the gun in checked it only had two bullets"Ealaíontóir ag f*ck"he move the body out he got in the truck and move it back he the big tool box and carried it with him back to the jeep

Noah had acknowledged Xobic waking up, he wasn't wrong about him, he seemed like an honest guy who could be trusted. He walked over to him and leaned over the door and looked at him put away the tool box. '' Hey, was it true that you could fix anything mechanic or a just a last minute desperate call back then?'' he asked smiling at Xobic. If he was really able to fix anything, he would have some pretty big projects with him. He took one of the wrench and pulled done a retractable ladder from the roof and climbed it. He sat on the little compartment and looked through the machine gun scope. '' 'Cause.. I got this beauty right here but doesn't seem to work.. I have good knowledge on guns but this is slightly a bigger problem..'' he said looking back at him.
