Realistic or Modern Pandemic:Revelations Of The Dead

Noah shrugged and nodded in agreement. He wasn't planning on keeping her locked up on behind his truck, he just didn't want to always recall that he left some teenage girl against a whole horde of walkers with just some cheap looking machete and a few bullets left . It was against his principle of life, he smirked while recalling his father scolding him for fighting with a girl in his youth. It was a pleasant one with many feelings in it. Not only did he greatly respected that man who served his country for so long, he also loved him as his beloved father. His smirk faded away when the memory of his father getting a bullet through his head resurfaced. He immediately shoved the idea away and looked at the girl, '' My pleasure, but will you be able to walk kilometers of road before actually reaching what used to be civilization?'' He asked while cleaning his dirty machete. This road was practically some secondary road with nothing but dirt and miles of fields.

Amelia had eaten the food given to her faster than she had eaten anything before, it was her first meal in a few days. She wasn't a good scavenger, and when she did come across something she didn't always have room in her backpack to take it with her. While she ate the other girl finished and went out to look for more food, which was fair enough seen as Amelie had probably just eaten a days worth of her supply. Finishing finally, she petted the dog on her head and stood up, walking over to the window. It was dark so she couldn't see much, but once her eyes had adjusted slightly she saw the outline of a shape walking towards the entrance into the building. She ran into the room she had previously been in and grabbed an axe out of her backpack, she couldn't use her gun since that was for emergencies and would make noise. This wasn't specifically speaking an emergency so the axe would have to do. She ran back to the walker that had now entered, and it started to pick up pace once it saw her, but two clear and quick hacks at the neck stopped it in its tracks as she beheaded it. She wasn't satisfied, and swung her axe down right in the middle of its forehead. "Son of a b*tch." She spat and kicked its body before walking away and sitting down next to where that girl, Neo, had made camp.

Neo found enough food to last them for the next week, from the one house with the two walkers inside. She went back to the house and saw Bell dragging the walker's head then body. "What the hell?" She said before walking back in. She looked at Amelia. "What happened?" She asked and looked around holding her hunters knife making sure then stuffed it in her book. "Whatever I don't care. Bell get stuff." As she said Bell went to get there food and useful things. Neo looked at her. "Come on lets go." She said before walking out with Bell right behind her.

Amelie stood up quickly, shocked, she shoved her axe into her backpack and her gun into her pocket, she would probably need it. "We shouldn't be going anywhere its the middle of the night!" She whispered, walking behind Neo trying to keep up with her pace. She almost kept tripping up because of how quickly she was trying to go. "Those things are more active at this time! Do you have a death wish?!" Her voice raised slightly above a whisper and she closed her eyes to calm herself. This girl was stupid in her eyes, going out late at night had not worked well for her parents.

Todrick leaned up against the wall of the gas station his eyes fluttering open and closed as the expected fever seemed to set in after the passing hours. Closing his eyes lightly he took slow breaths attempting to clear his mind. His wound had been cleansed to the best of his own ability as he instructed Laven on what to do with what they had.

Now that the night has settled, the dark sky littered with dazzling golden lights which he could see from the nearest window. Their new circumstances caused them to set up camp in the building, prepared to leave the coming dawn.

Laven paced the room quietly sword in a tight grip that caused her knuckles to turn white, her eyes falling on her twin every other step.

"Do you think there are other survivors?" She questioned suddenly halting and staring him down like a specimen as he lifted his head.

"You're not going out there," he ordered sternly not caring for her question.

"I have to check, maybe I can even get some antibiotics and some alcohol. Proper bandages. Anything." She stated frantically her eyes wide with fear as she began towards the door.

"Stay here." Laven informed her brother ignoring his orders as she was sure to make the door secure before sprinting down the street in search of anything living.

Neo stopped and she ran into her. "Its best to travel. Harder for them to see. Plus Bell's hear dogs see better in the dark." Her voice was pissed off and serious. She lets out a sigh. "Im sorry I should of told you. Look we will travel tonight then talk in the morning." She said taking her hand and started to walk off into the night.

While they walked Amelie said little to nothing, contemplating whether or not this girl was safe. She was crazy, that's for sure, nobody should walk around in the middle of the night. But surprisingly the street was deserted, and they were walking pretty fast. Her hand was in Neo's as they walked, Neo more pulling her along than anything else. "You're the first survivor I've seen for weeks." Amelie stated and she made sure she didn't lose her footing.

Neo looked at her and nods. "Same to you. Bell go ahead." As she said her dog ran out in the street. Neo looked around. "How long have you been out alone?" She asked walking slower letting go of her hand. Bell ran ahead and looked around and smelt another human, Tail wagging she ran towards Laven. She soon approached stopping in the light so she can show herself as she tilted her head. Slowly started to move towards her and sat in front of her.

"I've been alone since it started. My parents died and there was nothing I could do to help them so I took to the road and, I mean I saw people pass by in cars but they never stopped to help. What about you?" She smiled, her words coming out in jumbles, she hadn't used her voice properly or spoken to anyone in so long...She walked in the general direction of the Akita.

Laven took large heaping amounts of air as she sprinted down the empty street anxiety eating away at her insides, as her head darted from side to side watching for both the dead and the living. Suddenly another ones breath met her ears and slowly her speed slowed down her tense stance faltering as a dog approached her. Her shaking hand dropped her gun in shock, something that wasn't in search of flesh sat before her and everything was suddenly numb. Dropping to her knees her hands cupped the dogs face quietly eyes searching it as she spoke wearily,

"Do you have an owner?..."

Neo turned her head looking at her. She had a 'not trusting you' face. She let a groan out, "I left home and came hear only to have the world went to hell." She said not telling the whole truth. Bell looked at her and licked her face and grabbed her shirt and pulled as if it wanted to follow her. She let go and started to walk. Slowly her tail started to curl and look around and sniffed the air and looked around soon they came up to Neo. Bell huffed softly. "Bell why do you keep bring people?"

Laven was sure to reach beside her and take hold of her Winchester colt before following the kind animal. Though it left her with a wet face the lick was somewhat comforting reminding her of her past life and companions. Her steps where naturally silent from past situations when the dog paused by two others girls she visibly tensed sure to reveal the sword on her back and the gun in her hand to show that she would put up a fight if they where to try and attack her.

"As long as they're nice I think a human finding dog is a great tool," she stated confidently eyeing the females her Australian accent slurred into her sentence.

Neo growled a bit and looked at her. "Bell follow, come on Amelie." She said taking her arm and walked past her. "We have to keep going She is attracting too much attention." a smirk came onto her face. She laughed a bit but keeps walking only to get her sleeve pulled. Quickly she turned around.

Laven was suddenly reminded of her situation her attitude draining along with the colour of her face as she turned around her voice quiet as it was before an out stretched hand reaching towards the duo as she pleaded,

"Wait," she whispered through clenched teeth,

"My brother is hurt and we don't have any medical supplies, even if it's a clean rag could you spare something? We're sure it's infected." She stated,

"I'll do anything," her necklace sparkled in the scarce light, the locket holding fond memories.

Neo stood up and looked over at Amelie then lets out a sigh. "Lucky for im a nice person. Lead the way." They where practically pulled away. Bell followed and jumped around. Soon they arrived at a small house. "Was he bitten?" She asked quickly before taking her bag off kneeling down to the ground.

Laven could have collapsed at that second due to the feeling of relief at the girls words.

"Thank you..." She breathed out gratefully as she led the way to the building pausing with her hand on the entry ways door knob when the girl spoke,

"No of course not, I wouldn't ask someone to help a useless cause like a bite. It's a cut, from us escaping through a window." She explained before opening the door to reveal the boy his eyes resting shut as his arm was cradled to his chest.

Todrick was like an exact replica of Laven except for his opposite gender,

"Laven..." He spoke with a smile before seeing the other girls eyes wide in shock,

"You actually found others..." Laven ignored his comment strolling over and removing the red stained shirt from the wound to reveal the cut.

Quickly Neo sad down and looked at the wound. She pulled out the medical kit and pored a little water on her hands and looked at the wound. "What did you do to it? She asked as her gray eyes looked at his eyes and looked serious. She pulled out some alcohol and puts it on a rag and didn't wait for him to respond and quickly put the rag on the wound and covered his mouth to stop his yelling. "Bell comfort him." She said as the dog came and licked his face before sitting nuzzling his arm.

Todricks eyes widened at the strangers sudden act wincing as the chemical made contact with his open wound putting out a bit of the flaming sensation. When the dog began to comfort him as it's owner had ordered it caused him to chuckle lightly finding the action to be quite odd and sweet.

"We where scavenging a market and we where suddenly over run by walkers. The entrance was blocked and a window was shattered so we jumped through, I didn't make out that clean seeing as a shard thought it would be fun to dig into me." He explained the situation in a quiet voice staring up at the ceiling.

Neo looked at him then nods and opened the kit and pulled a cotton swab and puts it on the skin and repeats. She pulled out eyebrow puckers and began to take the little shards out and turned and reached for a wrap. She puts on a lair of a cotton swabs and wrapped the wrap on it. "Im guessing you don't want me to sew it." She said backing up after she tied a not and sits back.

(Damn I wasn't getting the alerts.... can someone give me a summary of what's happening?)

She sat watching Neo tending to this boy, she hadn't heard his name. She looked through her backpack, assessing her supplies, her axe, a small first aid kit, an almost empty bottle of water, a photo of her family, and a small can of peaches that she couldn't find a way to open. She took off her blood soaked raincoat and stuffed it into her bag. She smoothed out her jeans and large vintage jumper and stood up, walking over to the girl from earlier, Laven she thought her name was.

Xobic followed two guys to a storage shed they opened it up and puts and supplies in there Xobic hide behind the corner wild they left the storage shed.He went around to the door it was locked he would need a key but he had some boats cutters he quickly cut the lock off and open the door.Inside was a lot of canned food, jug of water, and some medical supplies.he grab some canned food,1 jug of water, and some medical supplies then he headed down the street.

Ashlyn frowned. She knew that he was probably right; she normally travelled near either what used to be civilization or good hunting areas, but where they were... wildlife was scarce and the walkers probably lurked in the fields. "Fine, I'll stay here until we get closer to a city. But can you as least treat me like a human who's trying to survive just like you are instead of a prisoner that committed a crime?" Ashlyn said in a sarcastic tone. More than anything, Ashlyn just wanted to get all of the blood and dirt off her skin and hair. She knew this would have to wait, because there wasn't a water source in sight.

Neo looked at Amelie then to the twins. "Im Neo, and this is Amelie. whats your names?" she said as she puts her stuff away handing them a fibber one bar. She sat down and patted her lap ans Bell ran over to her and laid next to her to putting her head in her lap. She waited patiently, or at lease was trying to wait patiently. Her face was stoic-ish.

Noah looked at her straight in the eyes, analyzing every movement of them. He could feel like she was saying the truth and didn't seem like some psychedelic chick. She seemed legit enough and even if she did try anything, he wouldn't hesitated to kill her right the instance. He grabbed a pocket knife and grabbed the ropes cutting them sharp. '' You try anything fishy and I will kill you.'' he said eyeing her. He didn't want to regret this little act of pity and refrain himself to give her back her weapons. He didn't trust her yet but once they part he will give them back. He grabbed some bag with a lot of diverse food, he grabbed an apple and a bottle of water and threw it at her to check it out. '' You can serve yourself.'' he said crunching on his juicy apple.

He looked at the sky, the sun was reaching higher and it was already nearing noon. He didn't want to waste more time than he already did, his goal was to reach his hometown before sunset with zero casualties.
