Fantasy Overworld: Treacherous Lands RP

The purr that escaped Helios in acceptance of the letter rumbled deep from within his chest. Another person had arrived and greeted him, and Helios let out a chirp in response, only to clear his throat and nod properly. "That would be I." He mused. It was another very stuffy, and formal greetings. Such meetings were always rather uncomfortable and tense when the level of familiarity was unknown. Everyone wished to have the other person be comfortable, but no one wanted to end up being uncomfortable or disrespectful either. It was a terrible dance that Helios dreaded to partake every time, even with how necessary it was. Like a predator studying the prey. But in a less creepy way, certainly. By this point the guards were already dragging the suspects away. There was some damage done to the tavern. A few floorboards and pieces of the wall had been cracked from the forces of hits, scorch marks of magic, arrows stabbed against tables as chairs had been flipped over and food left distraught after being well prepared. The community service suggestion would cause Helios to nod in agreement. "Of course such thing can be arranged. I shall send a messenger to insist on this punishment." Death to them was a waste when they could instead suffer worse consequences while alive. He would look over at Jynn and at the two. It appeared that they would be here for a while. Helios would turn to the king instead. "Jynn." He began, eyes sharp, fangs showing beneath sweetened smiles. "Do attend to your guests and greet them properly. Take them to the palace and make them feel at home. I am sure that the three of your have much to discuss prior to any travel." He then glanced around the room. "I shall stay behind and make sure that all of this is taken care of properly for Allistair and Dawson." He was volunteering to take care of this problem so that Jynn could take care of the other not-so problem. "I do not wish for any of this food to go to waste. I already know who to contact for such. We can meet you back at the palace just in time for any meetings."

Wanting to continue a relationship that was shaky at best was the King of Kilkis Seres' goal, and who was she to tell him otherwise. Humanity had been long thought dead by some after the creation of the barrier by the almighty king, Alexander, and having them back in such fashion was surprising for a lot of fey. The voice of Allistar made the dragoness look at him.

"Greetings to you and your child, master Dawson. As you probably heard, I am Kunyndrir from Arcadia to the north," she said with a small bow, before her eyes mover towards Dawson, "And I do apologise for a, well, making a rather dangerous first impression. If you ever need some form of compensation apart from that of the king, I will be willing to offer my services if needed."

Out of the corner of her eye Kunyndrir spotted the newcomer's rather unique familiar, just like its own owner.

"Curiouser and curiouser," was Kunyndrir's thought.

{Nymueh: Kilkes Seres; The Dancing Pheasant}
Nym gave Jynn a reassuring smile that was as much for herself as him.
"Historic events like these are rarely smooth, your majesty." She said. "But with your leadership and guidance from the gods, we will make this meeting a success."
Rawiya had coached Nym on that last bit. From a story telling perspective, it made sense. but real life wasn't usually so down pat. But one had to find comfort where they could.
With more people coming in to help take care of the current mess, Nym withdrew to the corner with Hecate. She picked up the familiar to avoid her getting caught up in someone's feet. The divine librarian's gaze once again fell on Kunyndrir. The introductions with Dawson and Allistar gave Nym a name and station. She inwardly grimaced for not doing more research on the north to better identify and interact with deligates from that area of the Overworld. Still, was had to break the ice some how. She approached Kunyndrir with a slightly sheepish smile.
"Sorry if Hecate bothered you." Nym said to the dragoness, hefting her familiar up to indicate her. "I was told she died for her curiosity as a regular cat, but the satisfaction of the answer brought her to Rawiya's side."

Allistar and Dawson return a bow to Kunyndrir before Dawson speaks. “I appreciate the offer. This might not be as big of a deal as I make it sound like.” He looks around the tavern. Damage was evident, but none of it was major, mostly a lot of broken tables, shattered windows, and broken glass. But it was clear the floors and walls were undamaged, giving Dawson some knowledge of relief.

Meanwhile, Nym’s words offer a bit of inspiration to the young king. “I appreciate your kind words. I want both of the worlds to thrive, and for their inhabitants to prosper.” He looks down, almost as if something was bothering him. “I know not everyone will agree with this decision, but I feel that this is the right thing to do. The human world has suffered for thousands of years, and after our collaboration with them to prevent the recent calamity, I believe that it is time to put aside old grudges and start learning to coexist with one another again.” He looks back to Nym, not wanting to get carried away.

He returns his attention to Dawson and Allistar. “Dawson, I will compensate for the damages here and will have folks come out to restore the tavern to its former glory. For now, I’d like you to focus on preparing for the journey ahead.” Dawson takes a few moments to further examine the damage before finally agreeing to Jynn’s terms. “Alright.”

If You Have Met Up with King Jynn...

You have been escorted back to the castle, provided accommodations and welcomed with open arms before being briefed on the expectations of the upcoming travel. You shall be representing your respective alliances, and the Overworld itself. You will be leaving together for the gates, and there you will take a ship that will take all of you to the world of the humans below. For now, however, you have a whole 24 hours to yourself. You are encouraged to do whatever you wish until it is time to leave. Gather whatever you may be missing, go out and explore the capital, do whatever you are required to do before you leave for the human world. You have free realm of the palace grounds, as well as the city, as long as you follow the law (Or don't get caught!). With permission, you have passage in and out of the palace grounds with little restriction, and the local guards will be more than happy to answer any questions. The rumors of what had happened within the famous tavern, The Dancing Pheasant, has spread rather quickly. And how could it not? An attempt on the king while the representatives of their respective nations sprung into actions. No casualties on either side. Do not be surprised if you are stopped by any curious civilians wishing to either thank you or get to meet such grandiose heroes...

If You Have Not Met Up with King Jynn...
The rumors of what had happened within the famous tavern, The Dancing Pheasant, has spread rather quickly. And how could it not? An attempt on the king while the representatives of their respective nations sprung into actions. No casualties on either side. Whispers were quick to travel and reach the ears of anyone who could be entering the city in the following 24 hours. If you are late in your arrival, fear not. For the group does not depart for 24 hours, and you have plenty of time to hurry and reassure the king your assistance, and make yourself accounted for before being given the freedom to relax and enjoy the remaining hours to your leisure.

Such included of how the once forbidden gate to the world below would now serve as the exit point for the expedition group, a large ship prepared to take them safely below. Surely if you wish to find out more of such, there are many ears within the capital city that could have the answers you seek. Or maybe you will encounter one of the representatives on a stroll around town, if they aren't already your target.

Helios Can Be Found...
...amongst the royal gardens. Surrounded by freshly watered greenery, standing within a white stoned gazebo that overlooked the scenery beyond the city. To say he was working was...accurate. They had 24 hours prior to departure, and they had to make sure that everything was ready. In his time within the royal court, the Shapeshifter had made sure to provide his assistance. Fey lived long lives, and he would help Jynn build the foundations of his legacy. Among his contributions included messenger birds. The aviary was not a new creation, but Helios would reform it. Including smaller, more inconspicuous birds to accompany the larger raptors of the sky. A large relay network that were trained to always return for food and care, and in turn they worked. And there he was. Standing in the gazebo as a raptor and a raven perched themselves on either arm, smaller birds sitting around his shoulders and the handrail of the building. Working as he made sure that everything was just right before he left. "A message: Recount the supplies for those that will remain with the ship after we disembark." Helios spoke, the raven mimicking the message before taking off. His attention turned to whatever the falcon had carried, the small piece of paper offering a message to him. "No further signs of any person of interest crossing the Western border." He frowned. Which meant that they would have..limited support. But some was better than none. He would sent the falcon off to retire, greeting a smaller bird with a hand.

Meanwhile…

After giving Nym and Kunyndrir clearance to enter the palace, as well as guest rooms being prepared for them, Jynn emerges from the Royal Stables with his trusty pegasus, Mealstrom, or ‘Mel’ for short. The horse’s bridle was made of brown leather, adorned with small gold beads lining the noseband, browband, headpiece, and a sapphire at the center of the browband, as well as a gold bit. The saddle and girth were pretty typical, but the saddle blanket had a blue coloration with gold tassels. Jynn’s personal choice in Mel’s equipment and his own attire were rather humble, so it took quite some convincing from his advisers to change to something more royal. Jynn jumps up into the saddle, and makes his way through the city of Kilkes Seres, with two guards, Oswald and Hugo, accompanying him. As much as Jynn, like his mother, hated being watched, these two were quite respectful of his privacy, and would happily back away if Jynn wanted some solitude outside the palace, so their presence was appreciated.

Once outside, citizens recognize their king’s presence, and most approach and offer their condolences for the recent events and for Dawson. Some get too close for comfort, prompting Oswald to stride over and uses his spear to create a barricade in front of Mel and Jynn, creating an opening within the crowd. Meanwhile, Jynn keeps his composure and greets those he passes by. Thankfully, he would not have to keep it for long, as he and his guards make it out the gates of the city.

A few minutes pass before Jynn, Oswald, and Hugo reach the resting sight of Shiva’s resting sight, where her sword lies, facing Kilkes Seres. Next to the weapon was Allistar, paws together and his eyes closed, paying his respects to the late Queen. A tear runs down his cheek, the thought of finally being able to be in the presence of his dear friend again, but not in the same plain of existence. His silence was broken when Jynn dismounts Mel. “Ah. Hello King Jynn. Have you come to pay respects to your mother? Would you like to join me?” Jynn commands Oswald and Hugo to leave him and Allistar in solitude before continuing up the hill. “Of course.”

Jynn reaches the sword and places his hands behind his back. A few more minutes pass silently before Allistar breaks the silence himself. “Your mother would be very proud of you. In almost all of her letters to me, she never forgot to mention you.”

Three seconds pulsed in her chest as she entered the gates. How long had it been? Years. So many years since then. She has traveled far and wide. Flown to mountains and dove deep below the waves. But as she had passed those gates, three seconds pulsed. In the end.
Kilkis Seres was home.

The man struggled to lift the crate. His helper had fallen ill that morning, leaving his deliveries behind. The crate began to tip, and he cursed. If this spilled everywhere, he'd never catch up.
Suddenly a pair of teal eyes fixed on his. The crate steadied, and he could feel bare, ungloved hands atop his own.
"Steady."
Far he it from him to deny help. Together they got the crate over, and without a word she turned back, pulling another. She was in a white dress - heels even? - and was pulling the heavy crates with little issue. His pride was indeed wounded, so he hurried over to grasp the other side.
"This ain't the job for a well dressed lady." He grunted, but still she helped. Four crates in total - all minerals and materials for the apocathery.
"Thanks. I do appreciate it."
She gave him a small bow, and he could only be confused.
"I'm happy to help. Take care."

Someone rushed between them, and she was gone.

-------------

The market bustled, though it was dying down a small bit. The child dashed between adults, sneaking around. The stall with her coveted mangos was full...just needed a good angle.
There!
She dashed forward, hand outstretched. She was a foot from delicious victory, when a hand intercepted her wrist. Eyes wide, she looked up. This adult...she was so slim, yet the child had no doubt that one flick would send her sky high. She gulped. Caught.
The woman released her. She picked up a few of the biggest mangos, handing over what was clearly way too much coin for them, before kneeling.
The child was confused. Why? Why was she offering them?
"Hungry?" She asked gently.
She threw caution to the wind and snagged them, running off. She glanced behind her.
The woman was gone. All that was left was three of the biggest mangos she had ever seen, and an equally confused shopkeeper.

-------------

"We can get you a new one in a few weeks sweetie...I'm sorry. I know it'll take time, but money's tight..."
The child wailed. Their doll's arm has ripped off, the stuffing sticking out, the stitches long gone. Their father was looking frantic, just wanting to calm her down for now. The boy who had done the damage looked guilty, trying to sidle away.
He bumped into a woman.

She gripped his shoulder now, and led him to the crying child and her father. Planting him there, she took knelt down. From some unknown folds she had a sewing kit.
"Here. Let me see if I can't fix her a bit. Promise I'll stay here."
The father looked hopeful and confused. But...the woman just held out a hand. She didn't push or pressure. Just offered.
Soon she was sewing. And while it was not the best job, the arm was fixed. She stood, dusting off her knees, then patted the girl's shoulder. Her intense eyes fell on the boy.
As the child sputtered out apologies, the father rose to properly thank her.

But she was swallowed by the crowd, like the rest.

-------------

It took her far too long to eventually reach the hill. People struggling with groceries. Bakers teetering with pans of bread. Coopers needing an extra hand to hold a barrel. In the end, all helped. Gold or gumption, she provided it. And now she has finally reached the hill.

Her hand rested in the sword. She closed her eyes, feeling the pommel. It had been so long since she had wielded this blade. So long...since she slew Ahriman...
For all intents and purposes, this blade was hers now. And it hummed beneath her hand.
"I'm sorry I was gone for so long. It still hurts. Those seconds make the longing worse. They miss it too. But I'll hold them close until I can't anymore. I'm sorry. It's selfish. I...I loved you for such an incomparable time didn't I?" She paused. "I went beneath the eastern sea. There was a tree underneath the water. Coral of all colors surrounded and grew on it. I met a water dragon, even. I helped the tree when it was hurting. It...it was an adventure indeed. One I can be happy about now. I just...wish I could have told you this myself." She closed her eyes.
"I should come back more. I'm supposed to look after him, no? Even if we were fleeting..." She put her free hand to her heart. "I still will look after him. It's the least I can do."
She let go, moving around to sit in front of the sword. Pressing her back to it, she hugged her knees to her chest and let out a slow breath. First, light. Bend it, make yourself invisible. Then? Enjoy the quiet.

But already the quiet was broken. Minutes later and Alistair had shown up. But she kept the simple invisibility going. It would never hold up to scrutiny. But who scrutinized what amounts to a gravestone, and not the beautiful view of the city below. Just stay quiet. Breathe quiet. Enjoy the breeze.
Jynn. She heard him. And so she waited, until she was alone with Jynn and Alistair. The light shimmered as she released it. And thus, there Eclaire was. Back to the blade.
"Hello, Jy-, sorry. Hello, King Jynn. Alistair."

Kunyndrir gave Alistair and Dawson a nod in return, she also watched as the newcomer, someone who she had been trying to identify the second they showed up, picked the cat-like familiar, probably trying to find a place to sit. Her eye were focused on them, and on the familiar as well. Here came the introduction of a new piece to the board.

"Ah, a follower of the patron to the Halls of Knowledge, I see," Kunyndrir said matter of factly, "The Goddess of Knowledge has very peculiar tastes for her chosen ones, and I can say that she indeed has good tastes. Kunyndrir is my name, and from Caligo to the north I have come."

Before the conversation could go further, the king's guard was preparet to take the guests back the the castle and show them the place they would be staying for the night. A fancy room worthy of important representatives, room service, the usual.

Kunyndrir took to the gardens once she made sure she had everyting prepared for departure. She would find a spot secluded enough to give her some privacy as she closed her eyes in concentration. And just like that, the beautiful gardens of the Kilkis Seres castle were quickly replaced by marble walls, a few windows from which the city of Heimdall could be seen below. For a few moments it was as if she was back at home.

"Report," a voice behind the dragoness said.

"I just arrived at Kilkis Seres this morning and already there's been an attempt to take out the king," Kunyndrir answered, "the problem has been solved and contact with the king has been made. As far as I am aware, only another individual has arrived, and individual by the name of Nymueh."

"None of the heroes from Isopolis has answered the call?" the voice said, a little hint of surprise in their voice.

"Not at the moment. We will be leaving in the next twenty four hours, perhaps some of them may arrive by then," Kunyndrir said, "That will be all for now. If there's any form of progress, I will report back."

Without waiting for an answer, the marbled room faded away, giving way to the gardens of the castle once more. The Dragoness then began to take a walk around the gardens, her thoughts absent as she witnessed the colours that the flora gave. On the distance she caught sight of Ambassador Silverstrider on a gazebo, an aviary by the look of it. She stealthily made her way towards Helios, would he be able to hear her coming? she would find out sooner rather than later.

"Bad news, Ambassador,?" Kunyndrir asked as she walked in range of Helios, "If you need help, I would like to offer a hand."

Some of the birds heard her first, as most vigilant creatures they were. They snapped their heads towards her, eyes turning to face her. That would cause Helios to turn to the woman approaching them, some of the birds quickly taking off as the stranger got closer. "Lady Kunyndrir." He spoke. He would wave his hands away, removing some of the smaller birds off him as the stronger ones would remain by his shoulders. "Oh. No. No bad news." He admitted. An an inconvenience, but nothing that could possibly bring harm. "I was merely confirming the numbers of representatives arriving. It appears you and lady Nymueh might be the only representatives to come along for the journey." He admitted, sincerely, unaware of Eclaire having arrived herself. There was no real urgency or worry about such absence. It was merely something to note. The possibility of mending relations with the humans was not a favorable view for many. Humans had proven long ago, and then in recent times to be formidable enemies. The other thoughts of course consisting that who were the humans to be making demands? What could they, whose lives are as short as a lightning bolt, possibly offer to those who have outlived them and their generations time and time again? But that was neither here or there. Helios had utter confidence in the king. If there was any doubt, that was why he was there. To settle it. Soon the birds would be dismissed, and most flew off, a few others remaining by the shade as the shapeshifter turned to face her proper. "Regardless of the size of the delegation, it shall be our actions that will determine the outcome. That I know." He smiled softly, always looking tired. But mostly pensive in much too many things. "Enjoying a stroll in the gardens? I have managed to earn some breathing room for more mundane creatures to make themselves at home here from time to time."

No individuals of interest besides the King and his servant were part of the group that would be going to the land below the Sea of Clouds, this was an interesting development, she was expecting a few more considering the events that happened two years ago.

"Please, just Kunyndrir is alright. Too much formality can be tiresome after a while," she said to the shapehifter, "Perhaps this could be a blessing in disguise. If too many of us were to descend, maybe the humans would be afraid and negotiations could take a turn in the wrong direction."

Would they, though? That was the real question. Humans had been saved by feykind, but would they truat them to have peaceful talks? That was a different story.

"I agree with you. Our actions shall pave the path to the future, no matter what future that might be," Kunyndrir said, "It is somewhat of an unusual event for me to, as they say, slow down and smell the flowers, as my job has me moving around at a moment's notice."

The dragoness kept looking at Helios' tired face, something that their mutual acquaintance had told her was the norm with him.

"Determined, organized, gentle, caring, wise," Kunyndrir said out of nowhere, "I can now understand what she sees in you,"

Helios tilted his head, a habit that transcended from animal custom to his humanoid shape. "Such terribly important business in the planning for so long...even with confidence it would be foolish to not have any fear or concern." He admitted, waving away at some of the birds. Some did leave, but others decided to stick around, despite not using him as a perch any longer. The Fey had valid concerns, as did most of the delegation. Politics were tricky. Now imagine it with a history such as complicated as that between humans and Fey. Even more with such events being so recent. Helios had not returned to the world below since he had left it to return here. He had not even stepped near the shrine of Isopolis. He had thought of the world below, of course. Negotiations, drafted proposals, letters, documentation and historical reports; the world below had become part of what and who he was and his history. It taught him a lot of how lucky he had in his own world. But he would be damned if it didn't also slapped him with the terrible realities of desperation. Every time he thought of the castle his mind filled with dread. The idea of returning to the place where he was held, and where Arianna entered and never left. He had prepared mentally to return, and even now at the day prior to the return it still terrified him.

In all honesty? He did not want to go.

He had long gotten over his fear and anger with humanity, and the world below. The love that was there for all life had once again returned to his heart, slowly but surely with patience and tenure. But that city, that castle, that location...it was like returning to a grave or an open wound yet to seal. He told himself he was ready. But whether he actually was...that in itself would show up once he stepped through the threshold. The shamans and the doctors could not fix him permanently. Even if they were to delve into his mind and pull away at the hurt and the memories, they insisted that it would only do worse. Even with advisement, only he could kill this monster on his own. But Helios feared he would barely even be able to walk through the door. He blinked at the mention of her words. Such compliments; only to reveal a source. Helios lifted his gaze and straightened his back. "Compliments will get you nowhere." He teased, only to smile softly. "...has she been well? Have you seen her recently? Does...she look well? Fed enough?" He asked. The letter was enough to reassure that she was well and alive. But being decently alive was different from living by hand and heel. "I have not seen her in so long. My heart soars that she lives. But um...letters and words compare little to the reassurance that she is...physically well." As much as he trusted her as much.

The Dragoness could see a couple of emotions reflecting on the Shapeshifter's face, one of fear being the most predominantly. She had read files and reports on each fey, and some information on the humans, involved in the quest to Isopolis. Helios Silverstrider being one such fey of interest, as one of the involded fey that descended and were captured. Going back to the root of a fear could cause one to stop and want to turn away, however Helios was doing the opposite.

"As recently as a few days ago, if you take in consideration who gave me that letter" she answered calmly, "And she seems well, considering her current circumstances, of course. Well feed, healthy and with a yearning to return to you, it seems."

Kunyndrir stared into Helios's eyes, looking at his worry and love for a person who, thanks to some twist in fate, was unable to be at his side.

"Indeed, letters and words are nothing compared to being able to embrace your destined one, but at this point, I fear, it must be enough for the time being," Kunyndrir said with a small smile, "Perhaps once this round of political games are over, and if you so wish to discuss it, I could arrange a, ahem, discrete and private trip to the Northern Lands to enjoy the sights. If your duty as the attendant of the King of Kilkis Seres could be managed by someone else for a few days, of course."

Jynn and Allistar, Outskirts of Kilkes Seres

Xion136 Xion136

Jynn and Allistar were too deep into conversation to notice Eclaire was in the vicinity before she greeted them. At first, Jynn was taken by surprise, but once he realized who it was, he welcomed her with a smile. Allistar on the other hand, was a bit on edge. Who was this lady? Why is she at Shiva’s altar?

Jynn somewhat breaks the tension. “Hey Eclaire! How have you been? You don’t have to call me that.”

Eclaire Oathkeeper - Shiva's Altar

Endless Thundaza Endless Thundaza

Eclaire slowly stood. Turning to face Jynn, her hand gently rested on the pommel of her sword. Her Shiva. The wind ruffled her dress, and she had to reach down a bit to keep it from blowing too erratically. As it died down, she regarded Jynn and Alistair, using her soon free hand to fix her hair as the wind died down. And, she soon returned the smile to Jynn, she felt her body begin to pulse. Starting at her very soul, where three seconds swirled...followed by guilt.
"I didn't want to assume anything, Jynn. I have been gone for a time." She looked away as her smile fell. "I've been well. So many adventures." She looked to the far-off horizon. "I shouldn't have left. But she gave me something to live for. Gave me the chance to actually...live. I just wandered. Barely existing until her. And how did I truly repay her...?" Her ears laid flat, and the woman turned to look back to Jynn. She managed to get a small smile.
"I saw you to the throne, then left. I followed her last wishes to me...a...almost." Her breath hitched.

This time will be very difficult for him, and he will need a mother figure more than ever. May I trust that you will be that mother for him, where I cannot, please?

"I'm sorry. But I was scared. Scared to follow through, past your coronation. But I..." She shook her head. She had to stop running around, stop rambling. "Shiva asked me, before she moved on. To be the mother for you, where she cannot anymore." She gripped the blade. "I saw so many wonderful people. Saw so many wonderful sights. Saw enough for the lifetime I lost while wandering. And coming back here, I realized. It's home. So....will you have me...? Even if it's just as a weird aunt. Will you?" She still held the sword, but offered her hand. "Accept a silly girl as family?"

Helios would feel his heart race and face burn at the mention that she was yearning to return. He pursed his lips in surprise, and avoided eye contact. Aura had always been a strong person, but the worry still continued. To hear that she was well despite it all did send relief into his soul and heart. Yet it was all that could be done. Helios would nod. "That it must be. For now we have priorities, the two of us, of our own journeys. At the offer of being brought towards Aura, however, discreetly. His eyes gained a light and he smiled. "That would be amazing-" He paused, remembering himself. He strengthened his back, and brought his hands back to rest on top of each other. "I would be most grateful for such opportunity." He spoke again, this time more polite, as if remembering his position. "Thank you." There was a sudden chirp, and Helios turned. The next thing he knows there is a hedgehog running. Well. More like waddling over. Helios of course would turn and pick the small being up, gentle and caring as he did. "What brings you here?" He would ask, only to be relied a curious tale of a beautiful woman seeking closure with the king. "...Eclaire has arrived?" He whispered, eyes wide in surprise. Out of everyone; he did not expect her. After the war and the loss of Shiva, he would have sworn of her to return home and make a life for herself. But to be brave enough to return was just about her style. "It appears we have yet another person coming to aid us in our mission." He would place the hedgehog down, stepping away with the same grace practiced from the court. "Shall we greet them?"

To see some light return to the shapeshifter's eyes was good, having a goal in mind besides the heavy political goals that the king had to acomplish would be better on the long run. A powerful motivator, if you will.

"Think nothing of it, she has been through a lot and she deserves some form of hope, as well as you do."

Before being able to continue, a sounds made her eyes wander, finding a small creature making its way towards Helios, it looked like the creature had a message for him, and after a few seconds, Helios whispered a name, a familiar name, a hero's name. The shapeshifter then asked if they should go greet them.

"Of course, it sounds like this newcomer will be an important ally in this quest," Kunyndrir said, "shall we?"
