Welcome to the RP @Kodiak and @constellation I'm excited to see what you two are going to bring to the RP both of your CS's look great. Feel free to pm me with relationship ideas for Hunter. I'm sure we can whip up something interesting.


I can't wait for this to start up again, I've been waiting so long for some good RP and this week I'm going to be generally free.
 
@Kodiak and @constellation I bid thee welcome! I love your characters and I look forward to chatting with you on the OOC thread! I can't wait to see how our characters get along (or not along one of the two lol) Feel free to PM me and we can start discussing what kind of shenanigans Aivree and them can get into :3


I can't wait to start this roleplay again! I work most of this week but I normally have evenings to respond (and today I have it off lol) But super excited! Specially this auction, I really hope Aivree gets thrown under the bus and gets put up on stage just because it would be hilarious to watch xD

Hey all! I'll be in and out the whole day due to a midterm tomorrow. T^T When I find some time to settle down, I'll throw out some relationship ideas on here (because I always somehow manage to forget PMs) or you can always throw them at me. I have no problem with that. Don't forget to post your finalized relationships on here so I can update the relationships tab.


With that being said, I'll also post the upcoming event and the specifics of it when I have some time. ;D If everything plays out well, we can get started tonight/tomorrow morning. And now I'm off to school and study. I'll be checking during class so if you got any questions/concerns/rants/edits/whatever else, hit me up!

Alright oh god I just got home. It's like 3 am. I swear I'll be slightly more active tomorrow. Looll I'm just cramming for a midterm. So just some cool things to say.


1. Student Auction!


The role play will start: Just a little bit before the auction so it's a good time to mingle and this is also a good time to kind of try to incorporate characters. Definitely, if someone wants to just talk or placing bets/dares/do stupid shit and establishing location for themselves like they're all on a couch or something. Once the first person establish the scene, (probably me), you can decide whether you wanna be here or you wanna be elsewhere hitting on some unsuspecting femmes/gents.


This party + auction is indoors. There will be a stage/auditorium and not very comfortable chairs laid down. The room is big enough that there will be a dance floor on the other side, seats against the walls and tables all around for drinks/food.


When the auction begins, the volunteers will be backstage roughly 5 minutes before (time to be mentally ready or having a nervous breakdown). This is the only time where if anyone volunteers you as tribute, you cannot refuse, especially if they already told the NPC you'll be doing it. NPC (you can role play) will give a tiny introduction (which you can make up) and then you'll be able to strut (or walk or fall) on stage and garner bids (or have none at all)! We're all expecting a little performance (maybe some air kisses and winks, stripping ahem) if you want to get more bidders and whoever bids the highest will get to go on a date with you (let's hope that person is someone you would like to date).


2. Relationships: I'll get this done tomorrow, promise!

This student auction sounds delightful (and totally not up Nathan's alley). :P I'm still waking up, but once I do I'll get those messages sent out to you all, as promised! Maybe one of you can help me figure out how we might maneuver Nathan so he actually shows up at the event? But if not, I'm sure I'll figure something out! I can't have him miss the auction now, can I?

I also have a question about the auction, if someone doesn't offer you up then you aren't going on stage correct? 
 
Hey guys! Hopefully relationship establishment are going awesome. Lol I'll post the relationship up as they're being done so you can either put them in the OOC (which is awesome since everyone can see it) or send it to me privately but they'll definitely all be on the relationship page. I'll definitely let you know when they're all up. Hopefully school isn't beating you guys up as much as it's killing me.


We'll be starting today once I update everything, I'm going to do a starter post for us!! Woo! So while I won't be expecting fast replies from everyone, I'd at least like to see a post from everyone by the end of this week so things can keep moving. Also, I'm one of the few GMs that do not believe in a posting order because it kills the role play. You will never have to wait for everyone to post once because sometimes, it just kind of ruins your mojo or at least it ruins mine. But remember, if you do a 1x1, please limit it to 2-3 posts until someone else gets their post in. If you have a mini group going on, that's fine! Don't forget it's a detailed roleplay so I will be expecting 2-3 paragraphs with substance. But I know that won't be a problem ;D.
 
If no one offers you, you can offer yourself or not come up on stage. Great question because I forgot to mention something.


Once you're done being auction off, you can come down from the stage and participate in the auction. So let's say Xavier leaves the stage, he can come down and bid if he wanted to. They accept credit cards unless you all want to bring a bag of cash LOL. You just bid by raising up your hand and calling out whatever amount you want to go for.

Xavier unexpectedly met Zakary at the beginning of their Junior year. It was October 31st, Hunter's birthday, and being the best bro he could ever be, Xavier manage to sneak a stripper into the dorm. He snuck into Hunter's room by breaking the windows and removing the mesh that was covering it. The stripper laid on the bed seductively, waiting for the male to come back from his activities. However, when the door open, it was Zakary who just got out of the shower. "Surprise! You wouldn't believe the lengths-"

Unfortunately, Xavier got the wrong room and their first impression wasn't all that great. With a quick, "O fucker. Did Hunter tell me the wrong room? Sorry dude... And remember, we were never here," he climbed out through the window and escaped with the stripper before Zakary could call the authorities on him. Zakary, to his dismay, got into trouble for the broken window. This incident was the beginning of an initial attraction Zak felt towards the same gender causing him to question his sexuality. Their second meeting was during a mandatory common math class, pre-calculus (god knows how Xav manage it this far, Abby is probably credited), and they were assigned a project together. While Xav managed to agree on a time and a place to meet up and work on it, he forgot all about their agreement and ditched their presentation as well. That was the start of a confusing relationship. While Xavier feels indifferent towards him, he feels slightly guilty for all the past problems. Zak, on the other hand, questions himself continuously as to why he's attracted to Xav.

During a post show after hours, roughly around midnight, Xavier decided it was a brilliant idea to sneak into the auditorium to get some dance practice in for the night. No one was allowed to be in the auditorium past ten o'clock other than stage technician managers and students. But who was he to care about some stupid rule about curfew? That was when he met Nathan Gelding who was trying to finish up his closing shift. Being relatively square and irritated that it was past midnight, Nathan angrily tried to shoo him out. And being an obnoxious fourteen years old, Xavier cocked his eyebrow, folded his arms, and lifted his chin.

"You wouldn't want to jeopardize your chances of performing in the spring recital, would you? I tell my professor. She reports you to your department. You sit out every performance for the rest of the year. Your call."

Squinting at the name badge on Nathan's shirt, Xavier's mouth ticked with silent anger. "You're gonna have to be here every night if you wanna stop me from coming here, Gelding." While he left it at that, their interactions throughout high school just got worse over time. With casual snide remarks, cold ignorance, hostile meetings, neither man's impression of each other was good. Xavier believed Nathan was a stuck up know-it-all, while Nathan sneered at Xavier's daredevil tendencies, his slacker habits, and possibly considers Xavier's brand of cool as smug entitlement. It all started with Xavier messing with the stage equipment, getting Nathan into trouble to which the latter retaliated by screwing up Xavier's background music during a performance. This began a Freshman year prank war that died down in the summer. Too bad, as fate would have it, they will be in the same dorm their senior year.

FP, you wonderful GM, you! (Do you mind if I call you FP? It's how I've been referring to you in my PMs with constellation. :P ) I did work out a believable reason for why Nathan would be at the auction, but I think making his presence obligatory because he's working is a great idea. In addition to what I have planned with shygirl, I'd love to add this component as well. Thanks for the suggestion! 


And thanks for sharing our characters' relationship with the group! The summary you gave pretty much says it all. :)
 
Hey Kodiak! Why thank you! *takes a bow* ;D Creative nicknames are always right up my alley so FP is great with me! Phew sorry I went to dinner and then didn't finish relationships. I'm going to have to edit some relationship paragraphs before I get started on my post. I have a to-do list on RPnation :$ . Just a fast reminder that if you guys finish any relationship, post them here (or PM me too) so I can update them on our relationship sheet (*advertisement alert) over on the students information page. Alright, I will get a starting post up, I won't sleep till it's up!

Quick facts so no one get confused. Don't be fooled by the picture I gave you. Everything on there is correct except for the beds. Each room will be big enough to have two double beds and I believe every room except for 8 has their own bathroom. Room 8 bathroom is on the outside haha.


For anyone who is too lazy to roll over to the settings page (I know I am), Abigail & Aivree are right across from Vee & Maddie. Xavier and Zakary are across from Hunter & Nathan. Room 8 and 14 are next to each other. Room 9 and 11 are next to each other. Alright, let me know if you have any questions!

Sounds awesome! And you're welcome ;D. Lol, ever since this new host project thing came out, I like to keep all the pages and tabs in one section and all so we can always refer back to it or look at it to see character/relationship development. c; 


Also just to keep the relationships page matching, I'd like to ask @Kodiak & @constellation to provide me a picture of their character so I can post it up. ;D Any picture will do!


Oh geez! I'm sorry for spamming everyone but @Kingly I'm going to have our characters interact just a little (more like Xav will mention Hunter in his post) because what is one without the other? @Sasil I was going to include Aivree too but I don't know if you want her with them or somewhere else?
