Realistic or Modern Organized Crime

"Already handled." he nodded firmly. "It'll take half an hour for us to get on the trucks. Probably less."

"Yes, boss." Within 15 minutes the trucks were ready to move. Mike, making the final preparations wore metal armor over his usual attire, "They're ready ma'am. Good luck." He says as he reaches down to pick up his trench gun and walk back into the bar with his 5 staff members.

"Oi..." Mindy says grabbing Lynn's hand, "Be smart. Not full of rage. when you come back I'll have dinner ready here for everyone." she nods.

And with that they took off, within a few minutes arriving two blocks away from the bar. The men huddling around her waiting for her orders.

"I'll go in and distract them with this forgery. Go in the back and get Alex. I don't care who you have to incapacitate. Get him and get out."

The group of men nodded, three men stayed with her, "Shall we boss?" each one was armed with a Chicago typewriter and were armored up. They stood in formation for her to where two were on her side and one behind her.

They nodded, "Yes boss." Heading off into the darkness of the night. At the building stood two tall guards that spotted her. One held up a hand to stop her in her tracks while the other walked inside. Soon coming out with the man she'd known to hate, Vadim Sidorov. He smiled at her from ear to ear, a few teeth missing from their last encounter, "Ahh...my beauty. Please come in. Don't stay out there in the cold." He says as he offers her his hand.

"Please, let's not dawdle. I'd like to have my fiancé in my possession as soon as possible. I have already had to cancel wedding plans once. You do not want to rob me of marriage once again, do you?" She walked in with him.

"Yes yes I'm sure. Very troubling indeed." he nodded. The whole room was filled with Russians just standing, sitting or smoking. Their eyes locked on her. In the middle of the room was what looked to be a bloodied and bruised up Alex, although he had a bag over his head while he sat in a chair that was adjacent to a table with a single gun and another man who wore a full suit. "Now lets get this done." he says as he sits down, "The deed?" He gives a toothy smile, "It just feels right to take something from you that you took away from me." he chuckled.

He laughed, "Of course." He snapped his finger to have the man remove the bag. Alex looked terrible, both eyes were black and one had a cash in it just to give him the privilege to see. His mouth was bleeding and had a large bruise on the side of his face. Alex looked up slowly, "...she....this..." he muttered.

"Of course," she kissed his head and helped him up, handing the man the piece of paper. "She is gonna keep doing this stuff. Go out the back, dear. The boys are waiting for you."

Vadim began to laugh as he saw the deed come to him, "This is justice. This is why I love this country." he laughed. Taking hold of it he read it over and watched her. "Nice doing business with yo-....what did you say?" He was interrupted by gunfire filling up the entire room, men falling to the ground lifeless, the sound so jarring it brought ringing to both of their ears. Alex could only duck since he was too weak to fight or move.

"Ba....babe! Run!" He said weakly, "Get ou....out of here!" He says as he tries to push her lightly. Realizing she wouldn't move, he reaches for her thigh to pull out her gun, "I need it babe...." he grunts as he looks around for incoming enemies.

He just nodded and laid back down as he tried to focus on her words, "Y-yeah." Vadim came for her holding the table in front of her, "You bitch!" He yells and throws the table in front of him to provide cover, as he ran up and try to go for her gun.

She would land the hit hard on his face, only for him to grab her by the neck and start to choke her with his massive gash on his face from the hit. His eyes were filled with rage, "Should have just taken a bullet, now you'll really suffer!" He yelled. The room still filled with gunfire and yells from men on both sides taking hits. His hold was so strong, it was already making her fade. Yet she stayed awake long enough for her to see Alex run up and shoulder bash him, knocking all three of them to the ground, "Run Lynn!" Alex yelled.

Lynn tried to stumble up, but the lack of oxygen to her brain and the dizziness wouldn't allow for her to take many more steps before she collapsed. Everything faded as she collapsed to the concrete.

She would manage to see him getting pumbled by Vadim, each hit seeming to be more devastating than the last. Finally she lost consciousness, waking up to see all the guys in the truck and only a few scratches and bruises on the guys, while Alex laid there in the middle with a bullet hole to his right arm. His face was bruised to high heaven and so was the rest of his body. "Ms. O'Brien...good to see you up." Mike says, he had a slash across his face couldn't really make out if it was blood or a wound. "We made if out alive. Lucky enough to lose only a few guys and sustain some injuries. Doc will patch both of you up if the Phoenix is still standing..."
