Realistic or Modern Organized Crime

"Exactly." he chuckled, looking down at his half eaten pie he sighed, "Theres something I must warn you though...the Phoenix has many rivals so you'll have to run much sooner than you think."

(all out gang war. D o i t)

He nods, "Please. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you. I made a promise to myself and your dad to keep you safe as best I can."

(Id say a few weeks later because the whole making-the-whole-club-call-you-another-name-for-a-girl thing would get other rivals attention. So we can skip to when shes getting her house back and its already been a few shows)

He smiled warmly at her, giving her a soft kiss, "Thanks, darling."

She smiled at him. "My pleasure."

(Alrighty~!)

A few weeks had passed since that night and she had finally moved into her house and started at her job. Everything was going swell. That was, until she got grabbed by some men on her way to meet up with Antonio. She screamed and fought tooth and nail as they shoved her into the car and took off.

Antonio began to worry, shes never been late. She's normally on time, he went to go investigate her house. Only seeing her heel left behind, he knew it was hers since she bought it for her. "Son of a bitch..." he said to himself.

After going back to the bar he saw a man standing there, "Don't have time. Move." He says while passing the man.

"Yes you do if you want to see her again." The second he finished his sentence he had a gun pointed right at his head.

"I'm gonna ask once, you russian fuck. Where is she?" He said sternly.

"What is the term...don't kill the messenger? I'm just here to tell you to give back what you stole."

"We just stole back the shipment you stole from us." He said sternly, his hand gripping even tighter around the grip of the gun.

"It was in our hands thus we own it. Give it all back and $1000 dollars and you'll have her back." He said as he walked away, "You have until tonight." He said as he got into his car and drove away.

Alex walked into the bar and started taking off his coat, "Arm up!" He yelled as all the staff pulled out a firearm. "The russians declared war on us. They want our booze back and bankrupt us. Aint no one here that can push us around and get away with it. We raid their base tonight."

Carolynn looked around from where she was tied to the chair. "What the fuck?!" She screamed. "What's the big idea? I'm just a singer! I don't have beef with anybody."

She would see a room filled with beer and imported liquor and a few guys sitting around and keeping watch on her. A man simply laughed, "Like hell youre just a singer."

"The fuck are you saying, 'like hell' for? I am! What kind of importance do I play other than a little bit of entertainment. Please. I have $200 saved up in my account. It's not much, but it's all I've got. Anything you want, I'll give ya. Just let me go."

"We don't want your money, you stupid broad. We want your mans bar and everything he's got in the bank. Worth much more than you." he huffs.

"My man doesn't own a bar. I've met the boss one time! I ain't dating him!" Oh god she was going to die.

(What if they rough her up a bit/wreck her pretty face?)

The man walked up and backhanded her, "Are you dumb?! Your man is the boss! Whats the name he used this time?" he said as he stood in front of her, his grin across his face.

"Toni?" he chuckled, "His name is Alex Martinez. From what I see. He's been pulling the wool over your eyes. You must be from another state." he eyes her up and down, "He had a good find too. Think the boss would mind if I took this one to the back rooms for a bit?"

"He would. But she wouldn't be able to tell anyone with something covering her mouth right?" another thug commented.

"Fuck you!" She exclaimed, foot rocketing towards his shin. Antonio couldn't be a criminal... but it made sense. She heard what he'd said about taking her into a back room and looked at them sharply. "You don't want to do that. Really... I'd cry a lot."

"Taping that mouth would help a lot." he laughed.

"Except that I'm here and my word is law." said a low voice from the side. A man in light brown stood there watching the situatuon unfold. He walked up to Lynn and looked her in her bright eyes. "She stays alive and untoched. He's a good man. He'll give up everything for you."

She glared. "He shouldn't..." she said quietly. She felt tears gather in her eyes. She'd been deceived all this time? All this time and she thought she was safe and dating a stand-up guy. No, everything that she had built her relationship on was a lie. "He won't give up shit for a girl that he wasn't going to be honest with. He'll just kill you all." She let out a little laugh. "Just come up in here and kill you and take even more booze!"

"This is a lovers quarrel. You are mad at him not me." he says as he turns around, "It's just buisness."

Later in the night the men started to arm themselves just in case. The men continued to watch her with grins on their faces, speaking in russian about how they'd like to get with her and so on. Yet at 11, he was still a no show. One of the goons huffed, "Maybe the boss was wrong about him." then he heard the sound of several trucks coming up with tarps over the truck beds. Lining up the trucks in front of the building, Alex stepped out, his full white suit and mask on. "Its all here. Give her to me."

"Can't do that. I need to see my shipment and money." he grins.

"Oh I got your shipment." he snaps his fingers as some of his men tossed over rhe tarps to show the wall of liquor. He stands right next to rhe end of a truck and nods. "Let em have it." A barrage of bullets penetrates through the wall of liquor, killing all 6 goons that stood there. The shots rang though the club. Causing the rest of them to jump up and start getting into defensive positions.

She watched them, bright eyes wide. She glared at Alex, betrayed and lied to. Right then, she didn't care that he was saving her. She wasn't going to thank him; she wasn't going to kiss him or hug him or even give him a passing glance when this was over because all of this fear and confusion was his fault. She sat there, helpless and tied to a chair, as all of this chaos unfolded, feeling even more angry.

She just wished she could understand why she wanted to forgive him.

"You had to challenge me. You had to go and hit low. No man attacks someones family." He says as he leads the battle.

The russian boss came by to her and picked her up by the hair, "With me." He said sternly, pistol in hand.

He grunted slapped her down then grabbed her again, "Stupid broad!" He yelled and began to drag her to the back. "Cooperate and you'll live." He says while the shots start to die down.

"Shut up!" he exclaimed as he rushed her to the back. The boss got inside a room which looked to be his givin as to how it had been decorated. He put the gun to her head and waited for the inevitable.

The door began to shake as the men started to try to bash the door down when Alex came up and shouted, "Have you dolts tried the knob yet?" he said as the door opened slowly showing Alex shaking his head, "Think next time." he said before walking into the room. The gun now pushing hard into her head, Alex gave the signal to lower their guns as he walked up to the boss. "Is this what you wanted? A war? You're a fucking mad man."
