Realistic or Modern Organized Crime

Antonio kissed her head, "I'll never leave you I swear. Come... let's get you inside and get you some water." He takes her hand and guides her to his home, "What were you doing on this part of town, anyways?"

"I wasn't...." she said softly, looking at her lap. "I just... I ran here. I don't know what came over me. I went shopping for dinner with my brother and then... I'm here." She looked up at him. Her face was red from the exertion of running. "I guess I just... had a flashback or something and couldn't control my actions."

"It's okay. Take it easy, where's your brother?" He grabs her a glass of water and hands it to her.

He opens the door anf nods to the man, "Ah...right. Lynn's brother, please come in. Shes right here." He points over to the nearby couch.

"God damn Carrie... what got into you?"

"Don't you remember what happened in Chicago?" She asked. "Jack?"

"This ain't Chicago and your guy now ain't like Jack. You said so yourself."

She looked over at Antonio. "I know, but I still worry about him. I can't help it."

"There was a guy that I was going with when I lived there..." Lynn said. "Jack Reynolds. He and I were engaged. He was a runner. Y'know, someone that smuggled booze." She sighed. "I was out walking one day and there he was, laying on the street cold as ice." She felt herself tear up. "A week before our wedding 'n everything. It was two years ago and I thought I was over it, but all this gang violence is bringing it all up."

He nodded, "I... I'm so sorry." He says simply, his mind began to race, dis he do that hit? No theres, no way. He was on the outskirts of Chicago. Not in the city. Right? "Is there anything I can get you two?"

She shook her head. "I'll be fine... I just had to make sure you were alright." She gave him one of her sweet smiles. "I'm glad you're such a stand-up guy, Toni."

He smilled back, "That means a lot coming from you." He looks to her brother and stands up, "Oh I forgot. Hi, my name is Antonio Vasquez. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, sir." He nods, "I'm hoping I'll see you for dinner tonight sir. Now would you happen to need a ride back to your house?"

"Right. Come this way." He helps up Lynn and leads her outside to where his car sat nice and unscratched on the side of his house.

"Anything for you." He replied happily.

After a short ride, they arrived at her house. Almost immediatly helping Lynn out of the car then grabbing the bag of groceries. "So what time should I be here, darling?" He smirks at her.

"I'll be there." He smiled at her and dropped off the groceries inside, "Sorry to intrude Mr. O'Brien. Just here to drop of some goods."

He laughs, "As do I, sir. As do I." He heads out of his house and back to his car, "Hey Lynn? Need me to bring anything other than myself?"

"Then I'll see you later tonight." He waves and drives away. Immediatly his first stop was at a floral shop. Going back to his club to make sure that there was at least minimal loss. "How are we lookin boys?"

There was a man bandaging another guy's arm, but it was pretty calm otherwise. "Pretty good, boss. G was grazed, but the other guys are much worse off." He eyed the flowers. "Big date?"

"Huge date. She's a really good find. I'm gonna have dinner with her and her family. So tell Mike when he gets here to set up the next raid and we'll do it next week." He turns to see the several crates of booze to see only a few amount of them shattered. They could still make a good profit off of this.
